Hello,
I saw this link in the forums http://ol-style.tv/pc/schedule/?h which does office lady Cosplay and that's nice but bus / subway is my fetish. Does something like this exist or am I stuck with movies? If it doesn't what kind of Cosplay does exist?

Visited New Hot Point in Shinjuku last week. I speak a little Japanese and found the place pretty easily. It's very close to Shinjuku station. Went up via the lift and was greeted by front desk guy, it looks like they don't have any issue with foreigners. You place your phone in a holding box and are given a corresponding card, I think I payed 2200 yen, picked my choice of two pretty girls and was given a number and told to sit with about 5 other people waiting. After a about 10 minutes a group left, and my number along with all the others were called. I was escorted to a very small room, with a stool to sit on and, a window view of a dance area. Touts welcome foreigners, just be respectful and they will be happy to assist. But the search function of the forum here is your friend. Use it. There are many that at non-Japanese friendly. But some will only allow you in if you speak Japanese. Others don't care. So again use the search function and read.
If you go to Yoshiwara (the soapland area) many will beckon you in. That was my experience. Asian Mystique is foreign friendly. As is Nasty Dolls. Google is your friend. So is the search function here. I hope this helps!
I'm in Tokyo now. I'm guessing I should stay out of Shinjuku? That's where my hotel is. The touts are so annoying.

In a small hotel, it can be hard to get past the desk unnoticed, but in a large place, the staff are usually too busy to monitor everyone in and out. Keep your key when you go out, don't hand it in.

Use Google translate with the site to look at the girls and schedule. One staff guy Mihara-san speaks passable English if you are very clear about what you want. 3 X more money than NY NY and Champs. If you use Agheha, make your appointment well in advance. Even a couple days in advance is very advisable.
It's a "delivery" style outfit where you go to a love hotel and the lady knocks on your door. For more money, she'll meet you at Sugamo Station and you can go to a love hotel together. Talk to Mihara-san about this option and be clear your looking for an older lady who is NOT thin.

Is Sugamo inside the main Kabukicho red light district?
Sugamo is a town about 6 stations, 15 minutes from Shinjuku where Kabukicho is.
I would stay away from Kabukicho and concentrate on Sugamo. Especially as you are after older girls.
In Sugamo is a Pink Salon called Jan Jan. It is a sure fire place.
If you walk around that area there are a few other places that will accept foreigners.

I've been in Tokyo for a few weeks, and I went to Darling Harbor on Friday night after work. All my previous experience mongering was in Germany and Austria, so I was very curious to see what a soapland was like.

I've only been to Darling Harbour and TinkerBell. In both cases the experience wasn't really worth the money. I think if you get the right match of girl it may be worth the money. Chinese have taken over this business in Tokyo. Anything in the price range you paid you can expect to get a Chinese girl (you even overpaid). As there are speakers in shinjuku discouraging street touts for business and there was not one outside Hinomaru.

SI have resided / worked near both of these areas. I can tell you from Shinjuku Station to the next closest station to that area will be just under 45 minutes. If you walk from the station to Yoshiwara, you need to add another 13 minutes of walking to the area. A taxi will take about 3 minutes. A bus will take about 5 minutes + waiting time. You could always say that you wanted to get a cheap tour of the city by taking one of the buses in the local neighborhoods and it took you further than you'd expected. Using GPS threw you off too (wasn't accurate). Honestly, these bus routes can be difficult for us whom don't speak Japanese (finding the right stop / bus #/ direction, etc). When you leave the Soap, they usually will get a taxi back for you to the station. Same for going to the Soap if you use the information cafe, but they are in that area anyway, so you'd pretty much already be there. Further to my previous report I went to Yoshiwara again today for a second look. For those directionally challenged after you exit Minowa station look for a 'why' intersection with a buff coloured overbridge.
