No adds these days in the English language paper. However, the area around the Dostuck hotel is still active with street walkers. Try the area near the Circus, and just East (I believe its East...) - you'll find some young SW's around this area - even in daytime.
Going rates are rather cheap - as little as $5, if you can speak Russian.

Looks there is still action near the bowling alley and the circus. I didn't have a car + was with the girlfriend, but there were definitly a lot of women standing around the corner making eye contact.

There has been some Terrost activiteis in the south I understand.
Also I think the price cost about 1500 to 2500 USD for roundtrip airfare. Chances are you would have to go throught Moscow in which case you wil have to pay an aditional charge for a transit visa which costs about 70 USD. The price of a Kyrgyz visa is about 100 USD.
Kyrgyzstan is a cold county situatated not far from Siberia. Its also in the mountians which further makes it cold, If not the coldest place inl Asia.
All in all, I think that there are better places to go to like Bangkok, or the Phillipines in Asia. Better yet I think a trip to Argentina, Domincian Republic, or Brazil would be better, cheaper, and more monger friendly, not to mention veiws of the sea, and the beaches.
One the other hand, you might want to consider giving her a visa and inviting her over here, or maybe you would like to meet at a more convient place like Moscow or some place in Europe.

Kyrgyzstan is a very friendly country. There is little to no action in the major hotels, but the area around the circus is full of girls in all shapes and sizes, usually Kyrgyz. They know rooms to take you to. the rate is indeed around USD10 and the room will be another fiver. What works is also hanging around in the street in front of e.g. Tzum supermarket and establishing eye contact. When you speak a bit of russian you just go for a stroll and it usually works out alright very quickly. Girls know out of the way funny hotels/boarding houses, where there is usually a TV set roaring away to cover the noise of the bed springs!

First report! There are lots of pretty girls here. For a nightclub you can find girls at Apple. Standing outside there were a few girls waiting to be taken inside. Another night I went there were less girls but a taxi driver took me to a sauna where I had a fabulous time with a cute enthusiastic blonde, 20 dollars for her 20 dollars for the sauna. I used to live in Bishkek for two years and it is a fun city. You can find a lots of girls, Russian girls or Kyrghyz girls there. If you have time and want to go to the bars and night clubs, for sure you can find a very good looking woman there for free. I mean they are not call girls. If you don't have a lot of time then the best way for you is to get a news paper and call. In 20 minutes they will sent you anywhere from 5 to 10 girls to choose from. If you didn't like them you don't have to pay and tell them that send you more girls. They keep sending them until you choose one.
The girls are very friendly and fun.Some of them learnt English but mostley they don't speak English. It won't be a problem.The prices are anywhere from $15 to $20 per hour.If you want to keep her all night $50 will be more than enough for a good looking girl.

Just ring 0312 541856, you will get an English speaking lady who will ask you whether you want a model type for 2000 Som (50 dollars) or a "normal" girl for 1000 Som (25 dollars). In 10 minutes a girl is delivered at the door step. It is a bit more expensive than finding on the street but a lot more convenient.

I have just returned from 2 weeks in Bishkek and although I wasn't mongering on this trip, I took plenty of notes as the reports here are pretty sparse.
1.The newspapers have plenty of ads for girls although Russian is a must for this option.
2. Saunas will bring you girls to choose from from $20 for an hour to $50/$100 for the night.
3. Street corners near the Hyatt have many girls there. Prices from $20 to $50 for the night.
4. Nighclubs have the usual mix of pro and semi pro girls. Prices from $50 to $100 for the night although $100 is the top price. Nightclubs are Apple ( 18 to 24 yrs), Fire and Ice ( 22 to 28 yrs) and Heaven (22 to 34 yrs old).
Please be aware that not all girls here are working. Don't worry, those that are will market themselves to you. Be careful in Apple as many girls are younger than they look.
Bars where a few girls frequent are the American pub and Cowboys although they are only busy at the weekend.
I have met people there who were approached in the plaza shopping centre and Tzum shopping centre and were offered sex for 300 soms ( 6 euro) but it didn't happen to me.

Hi guys,
Just come back for KG, here the short story.
I came from europe and and i took Pulkovo Airlines. Correct companie, just have to transit in St Pete. Good choice if you plan also to monger there.
Before coming i was in contact with 3 girls. One was a guide and help me to rent an small apartment for 200 USD/month. with cable and furnitures in the center of the city.

ThanksBishkek has one international ATM I know of on Chui Avenue right in front of the White House. Or you have to go into the Tzum Dept. Store further east on Chui, there's a Western Union at the back of the ground floor, can withdraw money from the backroom. Credit card is seldom accepted anywhere, except Hyatt which is insanely overpriced. Some of the upscale gift shops on Chui also take MC, and though I haven't been, I'd bet the new Ramstore on Sovietskaya would accept in some places.
A comfortable month of living in bishkek without a lot of traveling outside the city can be done for under a grand. With frequent sauna visits that will go up, but sauna can be reasonably done for $50-75 per night. SWs will cost that for the whole night.

I live with my girlfriend, so rarely get out to taste the local goods, but recently dialed up the number provided by Safariman. Very easy to deal with, nice woman on the phone. Cute college girl arrived on time, definite non-pro, but very attractive and pleasant, except for smoking habit. Talked them down from 100usd for 2 hours to 75, still pricey, but convenient cuz they come to you and I was feeling lazy. Might come down more. Performance was a bit disappointing, but that's non-pro risk for ya, and more than made up for with gfe attitude. Saunas are about the same rate for two hours with house rental and girl price together, but usually get more of a choice. Saunas are literally everywhere and very relaxed. Billiards, generally good food, booze, sat. Tv, some more fancier than others, but if you're with buddies, great place to go. I've personally only visited one, on Logvinienko near Yusa restaurant. Very central, maybe a bit pricier because of location, but nice enough. But bargains abound, esp. When you get to know a few locals. Lots of Kazakhs come down here for weekends be/see it's half the cost on Almaty.

A U.S. Air Force officer who went missing for three days says someone stuffed an object in her jeans pocket with a note saying it was bomb and telling her to go to a site in Bishkek, where kidnappers grabbed her, Kyrgyz authorities said Saturday.
They said Maj. Jill Metzger reported feeling as if she were in a trance as she followed the instructions.
U.S. officials said the 33-year-old officer was in "stable condition" after she turned up Friday night and had been moved to another American base in the region.
Metzger disappeared Tuesday in Bishkek, capital of this former Soviet state in Central Asia, while shopping at the TsUM department store for souvenirs before a scheduled departure from the country on Friday.
Her disappearance touched off an extensive search by Kyrgyz police and by U.S. military personnel, including 22 special agents.
But no trace was found until late Friday when Metzger knocked on the door of a house in Kant, a town about 22 miles from Bishkek, and told its residents she had been abducted, Kyrgyz Deputy Interior Minister Omurbek Suvanaliyev said.
Military officials said Metzger was a newlywed and had been scheduled to travel with her husband to Jamaica for a belated 10-day honeymoon in the Caribbean.
Metzger told Kyrgyz police she had been abducted by three young men and a woman in a minibus and held in a rural area about 30 miles from the capital, Suvanaliyev told The Associated Press.
Kemilbek Kiyazov, chief of the Chuysk regional police department, said, "Her first testimony was that when she split up with her group in the department store, someone put a hard object and a note saying it was an explosive in a back pocket of her jeans.
"In the note there were also detailed instructions about where to go and what to do. Metzger says it was as if she were in a trance and fulfilling someone else's wishes."
Kiyazov said the major reported that she was met by three men and a woman who put her into a vehicle, took her to a house and placed her in a dark room. He quoted her as saying she managed to escape after an abductor brought her food and she struck him.
Kiyazov, who said he personally talked with Metzger, told AP that her blondish hair had been dyed dark brown and her hands were stained with dye. He said it would be necessary to question her again to get more details, "but Metzger said she really wanted to get a good sleep."
Capt. Anna Carpenter, a spokeswoman at the U.S. air base at Bishkek's Manas airport, where Metzger had been temporarily stationed, said the major was in "stable condition."
Metzger was taken several hours later to another base in the region, Carpenter said, but declined to say where. Manas is the only U.S. base in Kyrgyzstan.
The Pentagon declined to comment and referred questions and calls to U.S. Central Command in Qatar.
The U.S. Embassy said in a statement that "it now appears that Major Metzger had been abducted," but added she was safe and thanked Kyrgyz officials for their efforts.
"We are elated to have Jill back with us," a military statement quoted the base commander, Col. Scott Reese, as saying.
Metzger was serving a four-month stint with the 376th Air Expeditionary Wing at Manas, where the U.S. military has maintained a base since 2001 to support operations in nearby Afghanistan. She had been scheduled to return Friday to her regular post at Moody Air Force Base, Ga.
Metzger's father-in-law, Kelly Mayo, said the major's husband, Air Force Capt. Joshua Mayo, was overjoyed when he was told Friday that his wife had been found.
"I can't even describe it. He's just beside himself, just unbelievable joy," Mayo said.
Mayo's account of Metzger' recovery differed from Kyrgyz officials.
He told AP in Colorado Springs, Colo., that the Air Force's Office of Special Investigations had said Metzger was found on the side of the road with her head shaven. He also indicated she had been kidnapped and beaten.
"I know she's coherent, and whoever had her let her go," Mayo said. "We've got her back. Praise the Lord."
Metzger also phoned her parents in Henderson, N.C., early Saturday to let them know she was safe, The News & Observer newspaper of Raleigh reported in its Sunday editions. Her parents said the call left a number of questions about her disappearance, and they still did not know why she vanished, where she was during her ordeal or how she got back.
"She kept saying, "I'm fine, I'm OK, I'm OK," her mother, Jeanette Metzger, told the newspaper.
John Metzger, a retired Air Force colonel, said his daughter seemed to be in shock.
"Her tone of voice at the beginning was kind of distant, I would say, and then all of a sudden, I heard the old Jill come back," he said.

Gentlemen, this report is based on a 3-day business trip (Thursday to Sunday) I made to Bishkek, Kyrgyzstan in May 2007. Although it was a brief visit and I had a pretty full work schedule, it was interesting and enjoyable, and I wish I could have stayed longer.
The drive down from Almaty is very scenic. I had heard about the steppe looks, and how wide open the country is when you get out of the city, and was not disappointed. Although it was raining most of the way down, the brief glimpses of the mountains through the clouds and mist, the open expanse of land, and the hundreds of animals our grazing (horses, cattle, sheep and goats) was a welcome change from the hectic pace of the traffic and work in Almaty. The road is a modern highway, the border was easy to get across and took about 20 minutes, but you do need a visa. So, in 3.5 hours I was in Bishkek.
Bishkek is the capital of Kyrgyzstan and remains a Soviet style city with the same identical, nondescript apartment buildings, streets, and parks. It’s much less developed that Almaty primarily due to the lack of oil, natural gas, or the other resources that Kazakhstan has. It has more of a run down, but comfortable feel to it. The positives are that it’s less expensive, there are fewer automobiles, it’s a slower pace, there are some very nice restaurants, bars and clubs, and it has a similar combination of beautiful women. It’s the same exotic mix of Central Asia that includes ethnic Chinese, Korean, Uzbek, Kyrgyz, and of course, Russians. A noticeable difference is that the women seemed less aloof and much more approachable here. They make and hold eye contact, smile more, flirt with you in restaurants, bars and clubs, and I met more that spoke English here than in Kazakhstan.
I stayed at the Hyatt which is reported to be the best hotel in town, but I thought it was overpriced for what you get, and breakfast isn’t included in the room rate. However, after a late business-related dinner on Thursday evening (my first night in town), I ended up in a little bar across the street called the Metro. I was with on American friend that lives and works in Bishkek, and his Kyrgyz girlfriend. It was a rainy and cool night so we stopped in for a few beers, some vodka, and to chat. The Metro Bar is relatively small, but at 2130 it was packed with people, and many of them were very attractive women. There were a lot of eye contact, smiles, and several women even bought me shots of vodka and had them sent to our table. There was one absolutely gorgeous Central Asian woman that I finally decided to approach, but she only spoke Russian. Since I was working the next day, we decided to call it a night at 0200 in the morning.
Friday was a work day, but I agreed to meet my friends later that night for dinner and to visit a club called Promzone, located in the Industrial Zone. It’s a dance club with a factory motif that has pipes running across the ceiling and around the walls. On Friday nights Promzone has live music that switches to recorded techno and disco when the band takes a break. It’s also full of beautiful women! It’s a young crowd, the music is loud, and it’s pretty smoky, but the scenery is just great. The women are mostly young ranging from early to late 20s, are well dressed, made-up, and in a mood to have fun. After several beers and a few shots of vodka, my friend’s girlfriend helped to hook me up with a 27-year old Uzbek named Gulnara who spoke a little English, and was ready to have some fun with a foreigner. Gulnara ordered a bottle of vodka to go, and we left the club around 0300 and took a taxi back to the Hyatt. The taxis are all fixed price for travel within the city at 70 Kyrgyzstanian Som (KGS), less that USD 2.00. They are very reliable, and I never had any problems.
After having been on a pretty steady diet of Russian since I’ve been in Almaty, Gulnara’s darker features and complexion were a nice change to the white skin and dark red hair of Katia, the Russian sex bomb that I’ve been seeing in Almaty. Although a little shy at first, she quickly warmed up once we were back in the room. Of course, it may have been the rapid shots of vodka that she slammed, but once she was relaxed, we had a great time. She had a nice body, shaved kitty, and had excellent oral skills. So after a late dinner, several beers and shots of vodka, we ended up at a club called the Golden Bull around 2300.
If you’re in Bishkek on a Saturday night, this is the place to let loose and roar! It is a wild place! The scene is a crowded, smoke filled club with a mix of loud dance music that includes techno, disco, and HipHop. It was full of women, and although not the same caliber as Promzone the night before, there were some beauties and a number of options. Within my first 5 minutes dancing, I was approached by several basically unattractive older Russian pros wearing too much makeup that were obviously on the game. When I ignored their initial advances, several grabbed my ass and crotch while dancing, and kept trying to drag me over to a booth off the dance floor. They also tried my friends with no success, but eventually found other takers and left with their prey.
I was more preoccupied with the cute Central Asians and Russians that kept bumping into me while dancing, smiling and flirting, but who spoke no English.

Some general comments on the Golden Bull:
Foreigners do not have to pay to enter the club and you’re noticed as soon as you walk in.
We were a party of 4, and considering all the beer, vodka, juice and bottled water we drank, the bill came to less than USD 15.00.
This was not your typical disco or club scene. Over the 5 hours I spent there, between the dancing there were several 15 – 20 minute breaks for a series of eclectic shows that included a male fire eater and sword/knife swallower, with a cute female assistant dressed in a red thong and white see through mesh pants. Next was a contest where woman from the audience wrapped their partners in toilet tissue to resemble mummies for prizes. This was followed by a 14-year old female gymnast that did a series of sexually provocative acrobatic contortions on a small table. Lastly, there were 2 different strippers from Butterfly, the local strip club (with the same mafia boss as the Golden Bull). Of course, the strippers were the best but had the shortest shows!
Also, many people got very, very drunk, and things got pretty ugly as the night/morning wore on. On my last trip to the gents, there were several guys passed out on the floor under the urinals, and you had to step over them to take a [CodeWord140] (http://isgprohibitedwords.info?CodeWord=CodeWord140). Guys were throwing up in the sinks, toilets and urinals, and it smelled horrible. I heard the scene was similar on the ladies side. I actually saw several people pass out on the dance floor. They were dragged off by their friends, who returned to keep drinking and dancing. By the time we left at 0400 there were a number of people that were passed out, sleeping in the booths, or slumped over on tables.
Lastly, I have to mention that there were some pretty rough looking guys in the club that clearly had the swagger of former military or security personnel. My Kyrgyz colleague called them gangsters. I only saw one altercation but it was handled very quickly, very roughly, and both parties were tossed out. Not knowing the nuances of what’s what, what’s allowable, and what can get your ass kicked, it’s always helpful to have someone with you who knows what’s what and who’s who.

The following two reports will chronicle my adventures in Central Asia—mainly, Bishkek (the capital of Kyrgyzstan), but also brief sojourns into Almaty and Dushanbe in Tajikistan. The first report will be an overall assessment of the general mongering climate while the second will be more of a nuts & bolts address type of thing. If you are not interested in reading Dirk’s drivel then you can skip the first post and take the info from the second one.
Bishkek has two serious drawbacks to being a good mongering destination: 1) There are NO—well very few-- pretty girls in Kyrgyzstan and 2) It is not safe due to fairly rampant petty crime. Other negatives on Bishkek is that the people there are ignorantly dishonest—i.e., insisting that you pay $20 for a taxi ride while the local pays 70 Som and that they don’t like Westerners—but love your greenbacks—because of the behavior associated with the personnel at the Coalition Airbase. It’s also the most scariest place I have ever been in terms of motor vehicle travel…when the police motioned my driver to pull over he simply smiled and floored it…the police were either too lazy or too petrol deprived to give chase…that time..the previous time they opened fire on him from their moving personal cars. Lucky me. The traffic police don’t use govt issued vehicles as the country is too poor to provide such extravagances.
I don’t give a rat’s ass what anyone says, not one picture anyone has posted—sorry Murhada—in the photo section portrays even a “cute” woman; only one or two are average. I found myself paying for sex in Bishkek with women I would not even approach totally inebriated at a dive bar in Wisconsin. The white girls are the ugliest group of x-commie broads that I have ever seen and the Asians are mediocre on a good day. Granted I’m not into Asian chicks per se, but a six foot tall yellow goddess with a body like Pamela could bear my children any day. But my visions of an oasis of bodacious Lucy Lues were destroyed after some time in Bishkek. I saw hotter asian broads from Kazakhstan and Kyrgyzstan at Bacardi in Turkey than in Central Asia.
I only saw one Oh My God Kyrgyz girl and three very good looking ones in Kyrgyzstan during the month I was there. I would love to say I saw a good looking Ruskie girl a day but in actuality I only saw one every three or four days. I didn’t see ONE girl in Bishkek that was better looking then my Romanian fiancée and steady Moldovan girlfriend. To add to the paucity of pussy, the girls of Bishkek have little taste or budget for fashion so they are normally dressed down. This is not true of the girls in Almaty.
In the streets you don’t see too many Slavs but when you step into any sort of shopping center, eaterie, disco, bar, or ngo they magically appear. You also will not find any white faces in uniform aside from the handful at the airport.
Here’s why: Apparently there were tons more Slavs in Central Asia before the dissolution of the USSR, but after Soviet Union imploded there were encouraged to leave by both the Central Asian nations and mother Russia. A lot left for a time, but when many of them they realized that mother Russia’s economy wasn’t as successful as her propaganda machine they returned to their respective Stan. After, all they had been there for over 50 years. However, with the recent color and flower revolutions shit changed. The Tulip revolution in Kyrgyzstan saw any remaining Slavs of moderate to high means get the fuck outta dodge. The populist revolution kicked out most “foreigners” (not only Slavs but Pakis and [some] Turks as well. The Kyrgyz wanted Kyrgyzstan for themselves. Most “foreigners” got the message before the message got to them and extracted themselves. I’m all for people of color throwing off their colonial yoke from their racist imperialistic masters; however, like in South Africa and Zimbabwe, the racist colonists were exactly that but they were also the functionally competent accountants, administrators, and engineers that made the place run. Soviet trained professionals are normally shit and always overrated but they are better than nothing. So with the most recent revolution went not only the competent foreigners with (any sort of) money but also all white woman that could be considered marginally attractive or any with the means to flee. Many of the rich and attractive Kyrgyz, Turks, and Koreans also split. The result is a startling brain and good looking pussy drain in Bishkek

Bishkek is a really poor country, and most importantly, isolated country. There is no economy to speak of and all of the money in the country is either dirty, remittances, or grants from the West. The only way a woman can have anything remotely approaching a decent life is to get the fuck out—either on her own or by marrying a Russian airman. After 9/11 thousands of Westerners came to the country to staff Manas AB, the main support hub for ops in Afghanistan. In addition to the contractors at Manas, Bishkek seems to be the R&R destination of choice for many contractors stationed in Afghanistan. When you transit to Afghanistan you stop at Manas in Bishkek for 12-72 hours. On the way in you can’t leave the base; on the way out you can. Many OEF people said fuck Thailand and just made Bishkek their R&R location…Yellow pussy there yellow pussy here…why fork over the extra money for the flight to BGK.
All of the girls in places like Golden Bull, Fire & Ice, Metro Pub and Heaven are hoes…I know that YOUR girl that you met there isn’t..she’s a good girl…really. If you are a Russian, Kyrgyz, or Korean Kyrgyz you pay them 50 bucks and you fuck them how you want to for the night. However, if you are a Westerner they are students who want to practice their English. If you offer them cash straight out they will act insulted and feign anger, but if you offer them a seat at your table they will drink whiskey, red bull, order a small feast, make out with you, take you home but not come in, and then you will meet them the next day at some insanely priced restaurant on Chui Prospect with a coterie of her friends, have ok sex that night, and the next day she will take you sight seeing. Guys with a half a brain on their heads will intimate that she is a sauna or circuit girl, but you will dismiss these frivolous accusations because she loves you and you her, you always fuck sans condom, and she is already playing the domestic house-wife with her plastic bags full of her worldly possession neatly arranged in your atrium. After a few months she convinces you to marry her and she lives happily ever after in Podunk, Mississippi.
If she’s really lucky she convinces Bubba to rent an apartment in Bishkek on his leave from the KBR foodline at Bagram because its only $300 a month and it will give her and you more privacy when you see her three or four times a year. Either she gets what she wants and becomes an American citizen or she finds out that you’re married back home and blackmails you to support her—and the child(ren) in the village that she never told you about—for life. The US Embassy does not look kindly on bigamy.

I reached a few epiphanies in Bishkek. The first is that trying to demonstrate my intellectual superiority is often detrimental to my ultimate goals. Before Bishkek, I took delight in telling the EE women that were hoes that they were hoes and that I was smarter than other American idiots who were wining dining and walking hand-in-hand with a…gasp… prostitute. In my infinite wisdom I came to the realization that telling a prostitute what she is is bad for her self-esteem and detrimental to my sex life. Why not just act like a dumb American and say things like: “do you know of any apartments around here? I will be living her off and on for the next few years.” & “I don’t really know anyone here or any good places to eat and party at?” When I do discos I go big anyway so I’d normally let them share my bottle of booze, mixers, and fruit. I’d then act happy drunk, offer to share a taxi home, claim that I didn’t know where I was, and end up boinking her that night…for free. The next day when she would call I would say that I had already found an apartment and that I had a business dinner but could see her later that night. She would come over and I would fuck her..a prostitute..again for free. I’d then say that I had an early am wake up, kick her out, and go to the disco to get “schooled” by the next prostitute. The hooker would then “beep me” wanting to go the Four Seasons or the Italian joint but I’d tell her that I wasn’t feeling good enough to go out but offered to order room service. She’s come and I’d fuck. You get the picture. Eventually she might figure out that she wasn’t getting what she wanted from me and the calls and SMSs would terminate, but she never detected any nefarious motives of my part. The more mercenary/professional hoes cut off my free supply of pussy after two or three days but the amateurs extended to me a greater line of credit.

I find it highly unlikely that if one is not either giving or spending (relatively) lots of money on women in places like Bishkek and Kishinev one will not retain top-quality broads.

As a vet of EE, I can attest firsthand to the notions that those people have about black Americans—they are all poor and live in the ghetto. In considering those posts I discovered my dilimma: I'm too old to take on the discos and clubs--I crash by 8, no matter what. And I'm too scared to take on a clingy hooker who may show up at my hotel room (which I'll be sharing with a VERY non-monger-friendly boss) and ask for another date!
What I'm seeking, then, is a safe sauna where I can go between 4 and 8 and get a massage and quickie, or even a massage and naked HJ. Is there such an option at, say, the Hyatt? While I won't be staying there I would be happy to go to their health center if there was any hope.

Just a cursory word of warning: Bishkek is not a safe place by any means. Petty crime and simple battery is rampant there. Of the five guys I work with 2 were robbed within ten days of arrival--one was even robbed in front of the entry gate at the Hyatt. The men there practice some type of Central Asian jujitsu where they apply holds and grabs during the course of robbery. If a man asks you what time it is at night do not raise your hand to look at your watch as it's only a ploy to enable him to grab your hand, pin you, and rob you.
No one I know was seriously hurt, but every long-term resident I know there has either been robbed or has a close associate that was. YMMV though.

i had a dull week in bishkek and decided to check out the sauna scene as recommended by dirk et. al. in this forum. i'm afraid my efforts weren't rewarded. i met larissa, a manager at the retro-metro sauna, and i think we understood each other but when i showed up one evening the little speaker at the outside door would only repeat--in russian--"closed! closed!"

In Bishkek there are many saunas, however you might want to check out the better-end in order to have a choice of some good looking girls. I regularly visit Viking, near Steinbrau restaurant and around the corner from Asian Mountains hotel. You should have no problems finding it and most taxi drivers know it. Anyone of you are in Bishkek in these days?
1) You can get girls on the street. Nowadays there're not so many spots as they say there used to be before. The main one is near Kievskaya/Sovetskaya streets (a little bit south of the intersection). There're usually some cars and mama-sans standing there. You come up to them, they show you several girls sitting and waiting in the car, you make your choice and they either bring you to their place or you can probably take her to yours. Damage 500+ soms per hour. Not recommended for the quality is usually low, and there may be some cops around waiting to have a "private talk" with you in their car.
I saw girls in some other spots around the town, usually at bus stations, but never tried. Again, not recommended
2) Saunas. You ask the administrator for girls, they make a call and soon you have your selection of several girls who usually are quite attractive. Damage. From 300-400 soms/hours for the sauna (may be as high as 2000 soms in upscale places) + 1500-2000/hr for the girl (please don't pay more, since they may ask you for whatever price if you're a desperate rich foreigner)
3) Call girls from "Vecherniy Bishkek" ("Vecherka") newspaper. This option seems to be the best if you speak Russian/the mamasan who you call speaks English. These seem to be the same girls (I mean the quality) they show you in saunas. So this is a good option if you don't want to go to sauna for any other reason but getting laid. It's easier to get them come to the comfort of your own appartment. Most of them ask for 1500/hr. But you can usually easily negotiate down to 1200/hr and so on. They usually bring 3-4 girls in a car from who you can make your choice. If you don't like any of them you can ask for more, and they will bring you more, or you can just call other numbers of the many in Vecherka. If you like the girl you've spent time with you can ask her for her phone number and meet her later eliminating the middleman (lower price & more fun). Many girls have normal day-time jobs the first are usually lacking the experience, might be shy etc, but are quite fun to spend time with
4) Also in Vecherka you can find incall options. But if you have your appartment, it doesn't make much sence in my opinion
5) Clubs.
- Heaven Grand in Dostuc hotel. Nice dance music, nice atmosphere, nice litlle strip show later at night, nice girls (mostly Kyrgyz but with some good looking Russian too). Most of them seem to be "normal". Recommended to go out just to relax and have fun. Prices are somewhat on the higher side if you're local but still affordable for foreigners
- Apple. This club seems to have younger crowd, mostly Russian, not a bad place, but I don't think I'd go there twice
- Gvozd (in Philharmonic Hall). Was almst empty on one of the Friday's nights. Maybe is not a bad place if there were more people
- Promzona. Good option if you like live music. Mostly Russian crowd. Sometimes gets violent but the club itself is good
- Barcode. Nice place to chill out and dance. On fridays and weekend is usually full since there's no entrance fee. Mostly Kygyz crowd
- Retro Metro. Is quite expensive, mainly middle age crowd. Seems to be a good place to pick up 30+ ladies. Not my choice though
- Golden Bull. Seems to be the club for foreigners and wh**es, enough said LOL
- Metro Pub. Not really a club, but a pub for foreigners where some girls hang out
6) Freebies usually Kyrgyz girls are quite shy but really nice and good looking if you prefer Asian girls. The number of attractive Russians is quite low IMHO, but you can find your piece. Especially in clubs.

I can't get out to often at night and have my fun during the day.
I frequent a particular sauna, but I can't seem to get any Russian women. I can only seem to get Kyrgyz. Anyone know any Russian girls that can get out during the day?
While I'm posting I'll outline my limited view on KG. I only utilize saunas, and I have had no problems whatsoever using them. I don't visit the extremely expensive ones and never pay more that 1500KGS for play.
The girls have been hit or miss. Out of the 10 or so I've only found 1 that actually was worth the money, and I had the owner of the sauna take down her name and number so I can see her again. The others looked fine, but they didn't seem to interested in anything other than you finishing as fast as possible. I've done a few 3 ways, but it never works out good since the girls usually end up talking to each other in Kyrgyz or Russian, and the sex is never as good, and they usually don't like touching each other. I did have a similar experience as another poster where a girl was very shy and covering up, but after everything was done she was very flirty, and sweet trying to be sexy by dancing around. Someone needs to tell her that if you want a call back you need to do that stuff before a guy is finished. Nearly all the girls avoid eye contact and kissing, but I'm sure thats part of the game.
Not a bad experience by any means, but I'm mostly disappointed that I haven't had a chance with some of the beautiful Russian looking girls in town.

Is it possible to have a conversation with them in English?Not many Kyrgyz speak good English however that should not really hold you back in your pursuit, it's amazing how little common language you need to get things moving in the right direction. If you want English speaking girls go to the Metro pub where all the girls speak English due to the high number of foreigners in there.
The thing is that you should seize the opportunity and enrol in a Russian class in your own country before you go (or on one in the country you want to visit) and not expect others to speak 'your' language. I don't say this from any kind of anti-Chauvinism standpoint but merely because putting in a little effort in the language class (you only need about 20 lessons) will reap huge rewards in Kyrgyzstan and most FSU countries. It will enable you to get off the beaten track with confidence and open up untold opportunities that a non speaker will struggle to take advantage of. What is the point of spending thousands on a trip but not willing to invest $200 on something that will make that trip and subsequent trips so much more rewarding when it comes to meeting women and other adventures. With a little Russian you have a large chunk of the worlds land mass to explore. Not only that but my meagre Russian skills have gotten me laid with Russians in Spain, UK, Thailand, France. It's an amazingly useful language for getting laid. A lot of people are intimidated by Russian and if you study it to great depth it is in my opinion very difficult to master (especially if studying in your own country) but at an elementary / conversation level it is quite simple. Although I studied the language to more depth in Bishkek trying and failing to nail the grammar, it is the 6 month conversation course I took back in 1992 as a teenager that I use as my bedrock to meet women. It was that course that taught me zero grammar but a lot of vocab and verbs that has rewarded me 1000 times more then the effort I put into it. Girls don't need you to approach them with perfectly constructed sentences in the correct case for them to want to know you more. What you need is to be able to have enough vocabulary to be able to approach a girl in a club or on the street and convey enough personality in that 2/3 minute window. Once you've done that and she has hopefully become a little intrigued by you then you can go back to English, sign language or Esperanto for all she cares, you've already done what was needed and she will now make as much effort as possible to understand you.
I'm working towards leaving my home country within 2 years. I plan to re-locate to Budapest as it is a great city, in the EU, cheap enough and has great railway connections to some great places (Rom, Ukr, Rus, Ser, Cro, Bul, Bel etc.). A few years ago the sauna at the Dostuk was staffed by a couple of nice Russian girls who spoke enough English to help set up nice afternoon and evening meets with working girls. They left, and I had to look elsewhere, but-hooray! The Dostuk sauna is back. Olla manages the place, and she speaks functional English and is very pleasant to work with. I explained what I was looking for and she made several calls to provide a choice of suitable girls. She also does a good "medical" massage, so don't look for extras from her. The sauna was hot, as was the water, with the usual TV / DVD player in a small lounge, with bedroom & private bath, etc. The price was the best part: 1, 200 som for the girl and 700 som for an hour of the sauna. That included two beers, towels, and soap. I think she quoted 1, 500 som / hour, but maybe I got the early-bird rate.

IMHO, Tashkent is much nicer, safer, and welcoming. The Uzbek population is also much more diverse than the Kyrgiz population. Plenty of Russian-ethnic and persian-ethnic chicks in Tashkent, contrarily to Bishkek where most are from Central Asian descent.

Landed in Almaty last Thursday and did the regular taxi trip to Bishkek. Not much seems to have changed except that things seem a little bit more expensive. Used 312. Though an avid reader of this forum I usually don't write much due to valid reasons. However I do when I see that the information is outdated or not current. Bishkek forum is certainly outdated and doesn't have all the information to arm the punter. The following are my observations about this city after spending considerable amount of time here.
1. The city is very unsafe and violent attack on foreigners are not uncommon. It is much worse in the nights. Even the locals care for their safety with keeping their doors well locked in the nights. You will notice that there a lot of people including girls who wander around in the city during the nights but certainly not a good idea for anyone not looking kryg. Even the bars / clubs are a little unsafe with a lot of drunk krygs looking to start a fight in the dance floor and more so in the restrooms. Be careful while crossing the roads and watch out for potholes.
2. The cabbies don't know much about the bar / club scene. Many a times they don't even know the popular bars. So keep the addresses of bars / clubs written down somewhere before heading out. The city is soviet styled and well spread out. The standard price seems to be 70/100/120/150 depending on the distance.
3. Most of the bars / clubs are boring with very few people around during the weekdays. Weekends are better but expect to pay a cover charge.
4. In the clubs 80 to 90 of the population are devushkas. Not much men usually. The dance floor is usually 95% devushkas. Dancing in this city is outright boring as the devushkas usually don't prefer physical contact. They prefer to dance a meter or two apart. Hard to motivate yourself to dance. I found the dj music to be very good almost all night in most of the clubs here.
5. Retro Metro. Interesting and a lots of good looking devushkas here. Cover charge almost very night 350+ soms / 500+ weekends. Hard to pick up though. One could get a couple of numbers.
6. XS- Thursdays free. Weekends 500+ somas. Your chances are considerably less if you don't look obvious American. Age / appearance / charm don't seem to matter. Look american and you may have a decent time. I found the same girls every time I went there. Infact they were in the same location in the bar area.
7. Golden Bull / Fire and Ice. No cover charge (they seem to make this up with girlie drinks in a subtle manner that you may not realise). Same owner. Golden Bull is now called FM bar. Devushkas are usually not very good looking. Business is run here in a highly unethical manner. Watch out for bartender shooting up the bill. Some Russian girls especially seem to have understanding with the staff luring you to buy drinks. Don't make this mistake. They seem freebies on the outset looking for fun. But watch out. All the unsold sauna girls / apartment prostitutes turn up here later in the night. The fact that they don't ask money upfront doesn't make them freebies. Some may tell you that they will return the money in a week or so. This is the reason that this place doesn't get going until 3am / 4am. Occasionally some genuine girls do turn up.
8. Arbat. Older crowd. Was never busy 2 or 3 times I was here. You can get free vouchers to enter this place in popular hotels and shopping complexes when you buy something.
9. Saunas / Apartments. Cab drivers keep locating them on the classifieds. If you can find a reliable english speaking cabbie he could do the work for you happily. Once you are there they would bring girls from various agencies. In a good sauna you could typically choose from may be 30 to 50 girls. They never seem to get upset even if U-turn down all of them. Price for the sauna 400 to 1000 / hr. The price for the girl depends but usually from 1500 to 2000 / hr.
10. 312. Kg. Much like an escort service. Use google translate and search for VIP. They will bring the girls to your apartment. Again they don't seem to get upset if U-turn them down. Some level of Russian speaking capability is required. But some of them do speak english. Hard to narrow down as there are too many numbers. A agency may have just one girl but will advertise with 5 to 7 different numbers. So it can be very confusing.
11. Heaven / dostuk. Cover charge 200 som on a weekday. 100 som if you sit somewhere. I was the only person on the night I went. 100*2 = 200 for the taxi ride totally costing me 500 soms to a place more boring than my own apartment.
12. American Bar. Called Metro bar now. Average age is 60. Should I say more.
13. Apartments. Cheap and easy to find. Call some agency numbers and they will somehow find it out for you as everyone gets 10% commission. Don't negotiate on per day basis if you staying for more than a week. Typically in centre you pay 250-450 USD / couple of weeks to a month
General observation. The girls once in your apartment seem usually well behaved. They don't seem to explicity ask for money if you had taken them from bars / clubs. But if you don't pay don't expect to see her again. The working girls seem to break the conventional wisdom of not asking money directly thus giving a punter an impression that she is a freebie trying to sleep with a foreigner but mostly they are in fact some sauna / apartment girl that you happen to meet in the club. The genuine freebies are very ugly. I would refuse them even if they are ready to pay for having sex with me.
Will I ever go again. No. Boring unsafe place. Good looking girls seem to act stuck up as there are a very few of them. But opportunities does exist to meet some nice intelligent devushkas if you have channels outside of the bar / club scene. But this is true even in other countries too and you are much better off in other places.

I am making this post after reading a few well intentioned but incorrect reports in Kyrgyzstan section. Pointwise, let me summarize my views as following:
1. I am fluent in Russian and have been to Bishkek and other parts of Kyrgyzstan, perhaps more then 200 times in last 10-12 years. So obviously some of the observations may not be applicable to all. Make your own judicious inferences.
2. SOme members said Bishkek (Kyrgyzstan) is unsafe. Nothing could be farther from truth. Unlike Baku (Azerbaijan) , Tashkent (Uzbekistan) , Dushanbe (Tajikstan). In Central Asia, Almaty (Kazakhstan) and Bishkek (Kyrgyzstan) are as liberal as it gets. Infact, if you ask me I find stiff uppered lip Brit girls more conservative then Vodka sipping, micro mini skirts sporting Kyrgyz and Kazakh girls. If you can't score with girls in Bishkek / Almaty, I doubt you can anywhere else!
3. Some one said Uzbekistan has more Russian people (girls is the inference) then Kyrgyzstan. Again incorrect. Percentage wise, Kyrgyzstan has higher population of Russians. Its just that Uzbekistan has a population of around 25 million whereas Kyrgyzstan has just 5 million. BUT. Kyrgyzstan is an extremely westernized and liberal country and if you know your way here, you are safer and happier then in Uzbekistan where there are many traditional fanatics and to score with girls, you may have to spend lot more then a fairyland like Kyrgyzstan.
4. Someone said Kyrgyzstan is unsafe for foreigners. Again wrong impression. Go to any SIM Card selling shop (Kyrgyzstan has millions of them in their stores like TSUM (ZUM) , Dordoi Plaza, little kiosks etc. And buy a Beeline or Megacom or 'O' SIM card. Put it in your mobile and its instantaneously activated. No fuss like I'd proof and so many documents in neighboring countries like Turkmenistan etc. NOW store +996312579999. Thats ALFA TAXI number. Whenever you have to travel anywhere, doal the number and slowly tell the helpful lady operator your address. Within 10 minutes taxi will arrive and drop you where you want to go. Unlike Taxis on roads which expect a minimum of 100 SOMs, Alfa Taxi meter starts at 70 and for most city travels, it won; t even touch 100 Soms.
5. Someone said taxi drivers do not know the night clubs. Surely he picked up a taxi from street that had a part timer driving it. Call ALFA TAXI and just tell the driver RETRO METRO KLOOB, ARBAT NOCHNOI KLOOB, ZOLOTOI DRAKON KLOOB (Golden Dragon club) , DILINGER KLOOB. And Taxi would drop you there in no more than 10 minutes, wherever you might be in city. Any time in night when you come out of club, in front of every club, you will see so many taxis waiting. Only choose ones which have Taxi firm names on top, (ALFA, UDACHA (in Russian you will see it as &1091; &1076; &1072; &1095; &1072. SUPER (&1057; &1091; &1087; &1077; &1088; &1058; &1072; &1082; &1089; &1080;) , VAVILON TAXI (&1042; &1072; &1074; &1080; &1083; &1086; &1085; &1058; &1072; &1082; &1089; &1080;) etc. Just btell your address and once again, the guy will faithfully drop you at your address. No fuss, no risks.
6. Taklking of risks, if in New york an obviously Arab looking guy, if he is drunk, pouncing on American girls or stumbling on streets will he get mugged or not? Why attract attention in a place where you are obviously an outsider and not even fluent in local language?
7. Kyrgyz-Russians are extremely friendly people and if you are not doing some kind of buffoonery, have a smile on your face and are polite with locals, you would have a bad experience only if God is really unkind on you on that day! Chill. Bishkek is more liberal then many cities of world and you need not worry anything here if you follow some basic precautions.
8. Bishkek has hundreds of swanky Cafes and restaurents. Go to Buddha Bar for some great Continental-Indian dishes but more then that, have a look at gorgeous chicks all around. Its open till early hours of morning and action starts around 11 PM. Its on Akhunbaeva-Soveitskaya street. Night clubs I already mentioned. Viking Sauna at Gogolya-Leninaya. Very near Steinbrau, a great place to relish juicy German steaks and sip fresh brewed beer, has classy girls, though a bit pricey.
9. Bishkek has classy 'homes' where at any given point of time 8-10 superb young girls are there, you can pick your choice, pay 1500-1800 Soms, just 30-40$ and this classy girl would welcome you, clad in a towel. Would insist you and she have a shower first. And have good fun for one hour. Just tell her ALFA TAXI. And she will dial and call it for you and you go back to your place. Even if its 4 A. M, as long as you are sticking to your rule of Alfa / Super / Vavilon and getting dropped on door to door basis, chances of you getting mugged are only slightly more then lightening striking you as you drive in your own city!
10. Girls on streets too are pretty outgoing and if you can speak a few Russian words and are good in speaking slow-halting English, you have bright chances of impressing ones from streets / Parks / Cafeterias and Stores. Just don't make it too loud and crude.
Enough ideas for one post I suppose. Visit Bishkek, you would love it!
Just in case someone wondered what all these numbers are after: (ALFA, UDACHA (in Russian you will see it as-) , in the previous post, well it seems the site does not permit Russian alphabets and converted them into all these numbers).
Well, if you go to google transliterate and type words like ALFA, UDACHA. You can see how they would appear In Russian.
In Bishkek, stick to call taxis. Cheaper then taxis on street and most importantly, SAFE!

Not even talking of the non-Slavic nationalities of the northern Caucasus that were deported there en masse too (which is why you see many Caucasus-looking girls in Tashkent) , or of the other minorities evicted from the Black Sea coastal region like Bulgarians, Crimean Greeks, Romanians, Armenians, ect. I could go on and on. Uzbekistan is ethnically MUCH more diverse than Kyrgizstan.

Yes, you can find girls between Monday and Friday. In Bishkek you can find girls all day every day, it is easy.
"Where to find girls during the week?" It depends what kind of girl you are looking for, but generally I would say that any and all of the expat bars or nightclubs will have girls in them most evenings form around 7PM onwards. The lobbies of hotels are not so good for finding girls as many of us now do not find that we get much success looking for men there and so we do not go anymore. You can certainly find girls (Like me) on the internet and if you can find a Russian speaker to help you you will find adverts in the newspaper for massage parlours and 'Banya' (Sauna) many of which will have girls working there who will help you with your horniness problems.
Or, if you really are feeling confident, go and sit on a bench in one of the parks and smile at sexy pretty girls. There is a VERY good chance that one of them will be interested.

there are hundreds of salons spread around bishkek. if you read russian, get the friday issue of vecherny bishkek newspaper, where there are a few hundred telephone numbers (individuals, salons, dispatchers of various kinds).
there has previously been some discussion about bishkek as a destination. the place is a bit disorganized, there are almost no attractive slavic girls left and it is hit and miss. i can see how non-russian speakers would struggle to find the gold ore. but if you have some time to work things out, you can have incredible experiences like the one described below. i have gone over the text several times, and though i expect some may disbelieve it, it is objective as far as i can see. of course not all bishkek experiences are like this, but they do occur. it is also the only place i have been (technically speaking) raped by a girl, to give you an impression of the range of experiences. (she was one of the last great slavs there, i kept returning to her and we developed a relationship, though it always had a commercial aspect, she was strong and intense, she had been nagging me to go bareback, i refused, she got very drunk once and forced me, my erection wouldn't subside, i wrestled with her, threw her off several times, but in the end i had the choice between a real fight with lots of screaming and potentially blood in a hotel or giving in. who do you think would have gotten the blame? in the end i gave in.) afterwards i worried for several months, went to the doctor and all well. but now to nicer experiences.

Bishkek is not a night-life oriented place, but there is a lot of action out of site. First of all, you need a local mobile phone SIM. Without that you are lost.
As mentioned below, get the Friday issue of the newspaper Vecherny Bishkek and look up all the little ads somewhere inside the paper.
Alternatively, go to bipopka or kgpopka. Com (the first is the old site, the second the new one, they seem to overlap a lot) and you will get to a well functioning site with a bunch of girls, parameters, prices and telephone numbers. As everywhere in the world, some ads are a little misleading (fake photos etc.) , but some are not and in any case it is a good way to get started.
Because it is difficult to know which ads to trust (both in the newspaper and on the internet) , I prefer salons (mini-brothels run out of private apartments). That way you don't depend on promises and advertising but have some selection when you arrive on location. Some of the ads on Bipopka will lead you to them, even when they claim to be individualkas. But although it is not difficult to find a phone number for a salon, finding it physically can be difficult. You call, they give you an address. When you get there (usually a yard between some blocks) you call again and they direct you to the right entrance, tell you which floor and let you in. You have to speak Russian well to get through this, if not, you will need a local to help you (a friendly taxi driver may be willing). Salons are sometimes linked to each other in chains, once you get into one they may be willing to connect you with others.

Got to snowy Bichkek (or the Rio of middle Asia) earlier in the week, after a few eventful days in Russia, the highlight being having challenged the owner of a small Sauna in Volgograd to call the local PUC, and insisting that I would not leave his establishment until the same would arrive (whiskey and sleep deprivations).

In the past I have argued that the salon is the optimal avenue of p4p in Bishkek. After a recent intensive series of escapades I have however revised my doctrine. The saunas are after all the best option. You need to find a sauna that is not too expensive, but not too rough, and where you develop a rapport with the management. Sometimes they are very friendly and helpful, will memorize your tastes and call in one team after another for you to select from.

The going rate in most saunas is 2000 KGS per girl per hour + 500. 1000 KGS for the room.

My Bishkek trip this week was good. I went with a group which is a nuisance but in this particular instance worked to my advantage. One day I nearly got beaten up and robbed by a drunken cab driver which suggests its better to move in Bishkek in groups.
First thing first, Indians as a group make it pretty obvious that they are sex tourists. The ogling, the lewd comments and gestures are unlikely to endear to any society, leave alone an Islamic one. It's a liberated society and women as sex dolls are available aplenty but to treat everyone as prostitute and keep turning your neck back is unlikely to please the locals.
Bishkek has few local attractions but it isn't to say that it's completely devoid of it. Ala Archa, the Cable Car and the Issyk Kul lake (some 250 km outside city) are worth the trouble. The Issyk Kul lake in particular is a delight. People turn up in droves and the speed boat we took, including the plunge in the middle with life jackets that the boat operator afforded us was a delight.
Now to the real stuff, the mongering one. I am a strip club fan and hence restricted myself to three of them, Zhara, Penthouse and Dolls. Zhara and Dolls are nearby, literally across the street and 150 m at the most. Zhara wins hands down. It offers lap dances in public area itself which is cheap and full of fun. The girls are stunning. Ruslana in particular is sumptuous. She offers GFE and is full bodied tall, and sexy. Others are quite a dish too. You could offer anything between 200-600 SOM for lap dances in public which works out between $3-$10 at the most. I didn't try to take anyone out, but I am sure they are available.

Penthouse is bad. The girls act pricey. Especially one Russian one, Carolina was bad. She is game to have you spend on drinks and cigarettes but clearly is a racist as she kept going on towards "white" customers. They too have a private room scene and dances on couches are only offered when a dancer comes down from pole and on her way out give you some titillation.
So all in all, Zhara is best. The entrance fees in these three strip clubs range from 1000-1500 SOM.
Now for the sex opportunity. Our tour operator took us to Bennicloop (Banya Club) which has a deserted look but otherwise stacked with zacuzzi, sauna and poll facilities. They tend to call girls when the clients are present in the premises. The deal is 2 shots for 5000 SOM for a girl for an hour. But you need to rent the place for the same which is 100 US dollars. Works good if you are more than one person. But the rooms didn't have air conditioners. Quite a few in our group availed girls there who were beautiful but the side expenses kind of make the entire scene unattractive. Quite a few in our group though swore in its favour, so each to his own, I guess.
Now for the hotel. After first day, it became quite routine for 8-10 girls to turn up at the hotel and serve our group in their room at 70-80 US dollars per hour. Quite a few of them were stunning. I didn't partake in it because as I said, I am more of a strip club fan.

On the second day I want to Sokuluk. A small town 20 KM outside Bishkek. Other forum mentioned it as a place with many saunas and another source said that this is the place for cheapest sex. However things have changed. I asked a Taxidriver. He mentioned that a lot of them had been closed. But he knew two and took me to one of them. To saunas is still a good number for a little place like this. I arrive at 3 pm and was the only customer. The mama-san (middle aged women) straight told me: we have three girls. So it is indeed a feeling like in a brothel with the exception that the place had sauna facilities with huge rooms and indoor swimming pool. I think that for the lonely traveler it is a good idea to visit these places early afternoon. The local business parties visit these places in the evening. There were three girls to choose from: All of them attractive, two Asian, one European.
I chose Nastja, the European, 27 years old. Mamasan right away mentioned 1500 SOM for the hour. This included a big room and the girl. So we are talking about 23 USD. I assume this this facility also caters to business buddies who party. It was quite expensive. Around 40 USD for the two hours. But sex was really good. However things have changed. I asked a Taxidriver. He mentioned that a lot of them had been closed. But he knew two and took me to one of them. To saunas is still a good number for a little place like this. I arrive at 3 pm and was the only customer. The mama-san (middle aged women) straight told me: we have three girls. So it is indeed a feeling like in a brothel with the exception that the place had sauna facilities with huge rooms and indoor swimming pool. I think that for the lonely traveler it is a good idea to visit these places early afternoon. The local business parties visit these places in the evening. The Sauna didn't have a name. Since it is a brothel they don't advertise. But the taxidrivers know.
What you can do. When you use google maps look for Sauna in Sokuluk. You will get two hits. One in the stadium and one in the next village called shopokov. So I walked to the one in the stadium but it seemed empty and looked small (may be they do it in the locker room? I told a taxidriver to go to the other one. He went there and knocked the door but they were not working. He then took me back to sokoluk and said that there are actually two of them.
Why did I take the sauna first? I had to know if the chemistry was right. She was good but if she would be a fish I had wasted a lot more money (3000 for buy out, hotel and then sending her back).

3) Tell this guy about your interest and ask him if for a reliable taxi driver or directly if he knows a good "mamashi". Mamashi is the word for mama-san. It will be the women with the long list of available girls in her phone. Ideal would be an English speaking taxi driver. But they exist only in tourist spots.
If I would be without Russian in Kirgizia I would do it like this. And I would tell the tour guide that this could turn into a long term relation. Meaning that you come back or send friends, whatever. So he has an interest not to rip you off.

The hotel was good and expensive by local standards (40 USD). There was no SPA (they told me that they will build on) and also no "massage girl", but I could bring a "guest" I like. But around that hotel they built a lot of fancy restaurants, KTV, Cinema. Those where all pretty empty. I took a taxi to find a cheap restaurant.
The taxi driver was the jackpot. 31 year old guy with a typical Kyrgyz bio. Studied law. After graduation moved to IT and works as an administrator of a government institution during the day. For that he gets 150 USD At night he is driving taxi. And he designs business cards. In total he makes 600 USD. With that money he is able to have a family and to maintain to cars.
I invited in for dinner because I knew that he is my source. He explained about the sex work situation in Osh.
A) There are the mamashas. They walk the streets and have between 1 and 10 girls. The girls go with the customer. One whole night is 4000 SOM. 60 USD I guess. After 11 pm only the ugly ones are left.
B) Saunas. There are three types.
A. 500 SOM per hour. A room with many beds separated by just curtains. If you are lucky they have a shower. Girls just lays there.
B. 1000 SOM per hour. Own room, own shower.
C. 1500 SOM. Big room with attached sauna and bathroom. But room is 700 SOM extra.
For option a and be he said that "you work", for "see" "Girl works". So I asked him to show me option "see". It was a small complex. I had to wait 5 minutes for the girl. Next time I will follow your advise and book an apartment. On the last day of my stay we found a taxi driver who could speak few words of English and he was ready to take us to an apartment where few girls were available. I came to Bishkek as a side trip from Almaty. Virtually came without any knowledge of night activity. I don't speak a word of Kyrgyz or any Russian, and the majority of people do not speak any English. So the finger in the hole gesture became a big savior. This shop actually has some tiny sign outside the shop written in Russian. We waited in the lobby area then the manager came and talked to the driver something, then driver told me we go other place. Later he told me that tonight girls don't want come here, because maybe police check. He started calling while driving, took me another place really far from town.
It was another sauna place and for some reason lots of Kyrgyz customers around that night. The sauna caretaker took us to the room in the back, and we waited. It was a long wait of about 30 min, then she showed me the first lineup of only 4. I did not like any so I said net net. She told me okay, and told me wait. Another really long wait, then came the second lineup of only 3, again nothing interested me. Actually I remember a few of these girls from other saunas. She told me to wait again, I was getting little tired. Another long wait of about 40 min, then came a big lineup of 10, about half Kyrgyz and half Russian girls.
Suddenly I noticed the young Russian girl that I took on my first night from a different sauna. She had different hair style so almost could not recognize her. She smiled to me and appealed to me, I took her again. It was already past midnight.
