Macau is more than mongering, with a long and colorful history. I find it a great place to explore during the daylight hours. If the weather's nice, head out to Coloane. There are beaches at Cheoc Van (and a nice pool, as well) and Hac Sa. Both beaches have good to great restaurants a few feet away: the Pousada de Coloane and Fernando's. There's also a nice big park on the island. You can take the bus to either place from central for about 5 patacas!

In peninsular Macau proper, there are the ruins of St. Paul's, the Mong Ha
Fortress and the A-Ma temple. The walk along the shore from A-Ma back to
central takes you past crusty old villas built in Portugese style and some
beautiful churches.

And the food - my favorite cuisine in Asia, a medley of Asian, European and
African flavors befitting this crossroads of colonial trade. Try Porto Interior
for the lamb chops and Fernando's for the young suckling pig.

Zippy I can't help with the map but I can definitely confirm that Darling is a very easy 10 minute walk from the Ferry terminal. There is a skybridge (overhead walkway) that starts at the Ferry building and ends next to Darling 1. Go outside the terminal and look to your left and up and you'll see the bridge/walkway. It crosses the road in front of the Ferry building and goes right near Darling. You walk from the Ferry on the walkway across the main road and follow it until it ends. You then make a quick left turn and immediately take an escalator down to the street and you are then 10 yards from Darling's entrance. China City is in the same building on the main level. Another alternative that is very inexpensive is to walk outside the terminal building and turn to your right. You'll see a stop for mini-vans that go all over town. You can easily take one of these to either Darling 1, Lisboa Hotel, or wherever. Some of the drivers there speak English and will help. Cost is less than US $1. Don't be shy about asking directions to Darling 1. Avoid the "helpful" taxi drivers and touts in the Ferry terminal. You'll pay 5-10 times more for their services.

There is no such problem in Macau.
No police will have come knocking on your door or issue a fine for spending a night with a prostitute.
The only think they care is about girls soliciting in the streets.
The police tries to avoid this.
But if they are inside residential buildings or hotels, then they won't do anything.
All hotels are friendly and no security guard will stop you from bringing a girl in your room regardless of the time.
I'm not sure you will be able to get a LT relation starting in the afternoon.
It is far to early.
You might get it after 2am, that's when the MP and Sauna girls finish their night shifts.

Thanks to Beemer, Intransit, and all those who post the great reviews of Hotels, Saunas, Clubs, and such. So I chose to stay at the Holiday Inn, Macau. This is my third time to this wonderful place, Macau. Last two times I stayed in the East Asia on the north side of the island, but can confirm this real cheap hotel no longer has the girls in the lobby. The Holiday Inn costs about four times the price of the East Asia, but worth it in terms of comfort and most of all location.

Darlings 1 is still my favorite fishtank in the whole world as far as I know. The suited managers, selection of girls in cute outfits, the complimentary drink, and the binoculars on the table give this place a step above the rest for the money. Someone know of a better place? Of course you should buy the package from the travel agencies in the Shun Tak Center at the Ferry Terminal for the best value. It was 1467 HKD. They also booked me the room at the Holiday Inn for approximately 1200 HKD Saturday and 600 HKD for Sunday.

I picked Ann #1 from the line up, mostly becasue she had a great smile and kept winking and such. Beauty is in the eye of the beholder, and Ann was my type. Billy, the manager kept talking to me while I was having my complimentary beer, so I asked if they would offer discount for a repeat visit. He gave me a discount by writing something on his business card about free 200. Ann was really great, and kept saying "I happy if you happy, I make you happy" in that Thai accent. Well she made me very happy, but must admit the jet lag and lack of sleep kept me from fully enjoying the great expereince it is to have this cute girl devote her attention to you.

The great thing about the Holiday Inn that it is right where SW alley is, and so you can enjoy a beer at Oscar's Pub while you watch the Russian and Chinese girls parade themselves. After having a lousy club sandwich I went inside where there were some pretty girls at the bar. Girls were a step up in class than the SW. One of them started a conversatoin and later she asked if I wanted to go upstairs for 900 HKD. I politely refused, and decided to cruise the Lisboa. The girls there start at 1000 but will go as low as 500 when you walk away. Then I took a long walk up to the East Asia to confirm what I had heard. No girls at the East Asia, but there is another hotel on Avenida de Almeida Ribeiro with about 20 young girls from mainland China. Got the nerve to walk in and three of them jumped up and wanted me to go with them. They started at 500 but quickly went down to 400 HKD. My expereince with these young girls in the past are mediocre quick sex, so I turned them down. Instead I decided to return to Oscar's Pub and have a couple of drinks while I watched the Phillipino band playing. My girl freind from before returned and continued to converse and kept hinting to go upstairs. After some drinks I decided she was fun to be with so I talked her down to 700 HKD. Went upstairs and had fucking awsome sex, like two hours. Fucking condom broke again (happend in Macau in 2002), but I lived! Can't complain, the extra money bought me a great time.

The next day I ate accoss the alley from the Holiday Inn. The pepper steak dinner and a bottle of red wine was fantastic. This is a better place to eat and it offers the same vantage point of watching the SW action. After the traditional Lisboa cruise I decided to take a cute SW for 400 HKD up to my room to see if I could repeat the previous evening's performance. No such luck, the girl was just boring sex.

So there is much to be had in Macau and the price ranges from cheap to expensive in relation to the USA. The atmosphere of holiday, the portugese architecture, the marine flavor, and lots of girls is what makes Macau so much fun.

It is not Hotel Central, but Pensão Forlon in the end of the Avenida Almeida Ribeiro, right in front of the former Hotel Grand.
There is a nice selection of girls.
They would normaly ask for 500mop but you can negotiate down to 200mop.

There has been a major change in the Inner Harbor action in the last few months.
Some of those small hotels where we could find girls in the lobby have turned to another kind of customers: the chinese tourists, as they bring more cash.
So there are few hotels acting like brothels in that area.
You can still find girls in that Pensão Forlon and in some another low end hotel next to the East Asia and also near Praça de Horta e Costa.
In these places you are not expected to pay more than 200 mop for full service.

I'll be in HK in a month. Does anyone have an opinion about Macau versus the Saunas/MPs in Mongkok? I've been there before and had a great time. Should I plan on hitting both places, or is Macau so good, I should skip HK altogether?

Though Macau sauna is more expensive, the choices are much better: multi-nationalities (Thai, Vietnam, Eastern Europe) plus you pick the girl in many cases (like Darling). In HK, its dominated by girls from China. Even when a girl claims to be "local", chances are she is an immigrant. Unless you know the manager and is a regular, in most cases you end up with the mid (dle-aged) girl. I tried collecting the hot girls' numbers by reading the local forum (and you have to read Chinese to do that) but almost always I was told these girls are "already marked" or "not working today).

On the plus side for HK sauna, you can actually get some pretty good massage services if you don't mind the girl's age. You can walk away with a decent massage plus ML for less than 700 in HK in many saunas in Jordon and MK.

Well. I made it to Macau on Thursday morning. Took the 830 a.m. from the Garden hotel and got to the border about 11:30 a.m.

Went looking for the bus stops for the local buses in the upper level. Later to learned that they all moved down to the lower level.

Spoke with bus dispatcher on the lower street level and pointed out to the photo of Lisboa casino in tourist map found in border lobby side of Macau. I spoke limited Cantonese and did not know have to say the Lisboa so the map came in handy. Dispatcher told me that the best bus was the #3 and I noted that the bus sign at the stop listed the Lisboa. The fare was $2.50 and guess what? I had that exact change left from my last trip to Macau.

Jump on the bus and couldn't recognize any of the stops along the way. Finally after 30 minutes asked the bus driver where the Lisboa stop was with the use of the map. Lucky thing, turned out to be the previous stop and I had only walked five minutes to the Lisboa.

As agreed, went to the basement area to look for Cronin but did not find him. I got in too early. Check out the streets behind Holiday Inn (HI) and found no one there.

At 1:00 p.m., went back into the Lisboa a basement Chinese dim sum restaurant and got myself a nice seat to watch the girls. There was a nice selection of about 20 girls doing the back and forth parade. Sat there until 1:45 p.m. and couldn't wait for Cronin any longer. Since Cronin and I agreed on trying to meet up at this restaurant every hour on the hour.

Did not like him at all. Saw two locals looking to a hail a cab. Learned that they were trying to find a cab that was returning back to GZ. That creepy cab driver continued to hassle me for the fare. He agreed on $200 RMB split two ways with the other local would have been $100 each. Several cabs stopped and learned that they also offered $200 for the same trip.

Decided on taking on one of the cab that had quoted me 200 and asked the local if he wanted to split the fare. But he was on the cell phone and his buddy wasn't that honest looking. Decide in the last minute to get in the cab myself and pay the full 200.

Though Macau sauna is more expensive, the choices are much better: multi-nationalities (Thai, Vietnam, Eastern Europe) plus you pick the girl in many cases (like Darling). In HK, its dominated by girls from China. Even when a girl claims to be "local", chances are she is an immigrant. Lisboa costs 500 a pop if you know how to bargain. Asking price often goes as high a 1K especially if you are not Chinese. Higher in the weekend (Fri/Sat) when the scene is a lot busier. There are 20-30 girls to pick from on a typical day/hour. If you take your time to choose, you may find a gem here and there. Many fellows simply stationed in the resturants around the "race track" area to pick their target.

In general, these girls are 5-6 categories, slightly higher quality, on average, than the SW in HI area. All girls have their rooms, many of which are shared by multiple girls. Because the room is reused from deal to deal, keeping it clean could be a problem if you mind that kind of things. (I do!) Watch for the fake boobs. Many girls are "flatter" than they actually look. But then again, some of us actually prefers "run-way" :)

Depending on your budget, and whether you speak Chinese or not, a more exciting route I use is the taxi drivers. Many can actually lead you to the real gems such as non-pros, semi-pros, Japanese... They have connections. Hop on to a taxi and ask. Tell the driver you are tied of Darling or SW and want something better. Ask if he knows anything better but make sure you show him you are experienced (and you really should be). You may be in for some surprise. I had landed many memorable chicks using this method. You can get there by asking a taxi driver to take you to Royal Hotel, which in chinese is something like «Wong Tou Djautin».

I made the mistake of going to Lisboa hotel after I went to Darling, so I was there around 5:30, when there was no one there but me and the girls. I walked through the lobby, trying to be sly. Note, I think Darling 1 and 2 don't pay commissions to taxi drivers, and most taxi drivers will try to persuade you to go elsewhere once they know you are going to a sauna.

Darling 2 was heaven. There was a selection of about 15 girls (this was 12:10am Monday early morning) and it is $988 for 90 minutes of time, no additional charges for nationality. There was this cute Malaysian girl (No 388) that caught my eye. I decided to let my friend pick first and as luck would have it, he picked 388. This is a new club under the umbrella organization that runs Darling 1&2, China City etc. It is billed as the high end establishment in a 5 star hotel. The recently reviewed Sauna18 is also in the same establishment.

I went there because my usual night club manager has been transferred from China City Night Club to Golden Dragon. The whole basic package actually cost an extra HK$300 compared with CCNC. Instead of an afternoon all inclusive pacakge for CCNC at $1500 inc tax, it ended up costing $800 plus $1000 for the girl.

The KTV room was huge with its own washroom and has a full size projection screen TV. The girls are probably the pick of the other establishments but on that day, the quality was only just above average. I will post a couple of pics in the photo section later.

One side advantage that I like in CCNC, you can see the groups of beauties being ushered from room to room and you can check them out but Golden Dragon is so big that I did not see any girls around. Business is not very good since the extra cost cuts the value compared to CCNC.

The hotel rooms are certainly of better quality. Overall value is not enough for me to pay the extra $300 again.

This actually was the justification given to me numerous times by the girls at Forson and other similar establishments. Even when walking up with local Chinese friends, I was still told 400 MOP while my friends were clearly only being charged 200 MOP. Was in Macau for about a week and was perplexed by the streetwalkers behind Holiday Inn. The first night there were dozens out at about 7pm. Went for dinner and returned at 9pm and there were absolutely none left. The next day there were none to be found at any time. The third day was about the same as the first, with loads of girls at one time, and suddenly none not too long after. Mind you I am speaking of the Chinese girls. There were Russians lurking around Oscars and the restaurant Imperador pretty much at all times of the evening. Just wondering if the lack of Chinese girls was due to customers getting them all early, or a police bust of some sort. In either case, only the Chinese girls seemed to be effected.

Saw an interesting scene outside Restaurant Imperador one night while walking home. A black guy(portuguese speaking) was sitting at the table with lots of Russian girls with no shirt looking very agitated. Don't know why, but he ended up flipping the table and yelling at some Chinese guy who was armed with some sort a stick. The black guy ended up picking up all the glasses in sight and proceded to hurl them at the Chinese guy, who ended up running away down the street. Mind you, this was all witnessed by 2 trusty Macau policemen who stood by and did nothing. The black guy then directed his anger at the cops, screaming at them and still smashing glasses and bottles on the ground. Meanwhile, a growing crowd of onlookers were yelling at the cops, telling them they should arrest the guy and that they were worthless. About 10 minutes later 5 more cops arrived(not to prompt, considering the police station was literally less than 100 yards away) and the guy continued his rant. For some reason the guy ended up taking off his pants and was there in the middle of the street in his underwear acting like a madman. The police tried convincing him to take a walk to the station, but the guy kept trying to argue. Finally, while ythe guy was in one cops face screaming at him, the other cops surrounded the guy and went for the takedown. 3 of the cops held him down while the rest basicly kicked his ass to the cheers of the now large group of bystanders. From what my local friends tell me, he probably got it even more after they took him to the station. I don't know what caused all this commotion in the first place, but I suspect it might have had something to do with all the hookers he was hanging out with. Even they were cheering him getting beat. Quite an interesting scene.

There are a bunch of hotel discount agents around the Macau Holiday Inn that sell discount hotel rooms way cheaper than Priceline or Shun Tak. If you're back is to the front door of the Holiday Inn, go right and within two blocks, you'll see 2-3 of these places that stay open until around midnight. Unless it's a really busy time of year, you'll be able to find something decent in your price range.

I got a few other glimpses of this scene which appeared to go on all hours of the day / night over the fri / sat weekend I was there and it appeaed the girls just walk back and forth between the casino and the resturaunts until someone picks them up/calls them over whatever, any how, check it out if you get the chance.

The Lisboa is pretty amazing. It's fun to have a seat at the coffee shop and sit by the window looking out. It really is like a fish tank, but instead of fish, there's schools of hot Chinese women. If you go around 4-5AM, there will be a feeding frenzy. When I went around that time, there were no other men around, just 15-20 women, and in seconds I was surrounded by girls asking me if I wanted to go with them. They would touch my upper body, lightly grab my arms, and when I tried to make a U-turn, the whole group followed. Kind of made me feel like a celebrity(with $hkd 500).

The Lisboa parade is something no monger should miss while in Macau. I didn't have a session with one, but just watching it was an eye opening experience.

When I was there last Thursday afternoon, there were 40-50 in the parade. I wouldn't say they're all hot, but there were a fair number of 8s to 10s.

If you stand near the escalators (near the entry to the casino), the women seem to leave you alone. Perhaps an unwritten rule forbids the ladies from venturing near the casino. But if you walk into the parade, which I did, be prepared to get heavily solicited! They're even inside the main restaurant. I thought of going inside for a bite but feared I'd get barraged with solicitation while seated.

When I was there, I pulled up a seat and faced outwards looking at the girls walking by. I think if I faced in, you couldn't help but check out the girls inside and once you look for more than 1 second, they'd probably come over. When I was eating, a few girls would come and try to sit down. I just said no, and after a few no's, they would move on. I think as long as you don't let them sit down, you'd be fine. I think these girls are best observed and not experienced, because I've had nothing but rushed service. Those places are still around.
In Hotspot you are expected to pay around 400 mop for 1 hour with a Chinese or a Vietnamese girl.
The last time I was there they had no Vietnamese girls available but it was OK because they had plenty of Chinese beauties.
Hou Va is also in the very same place.
30 minutes with a Vietnamese, Mongolian or Russian will cost you 330 mop.
If you prefer one hour I think it is around 450 and a 90 minute two girl session is 700 mop.
You can also try Tin Vong, but it is a litle more expensive: 600 mop for a Thai or Vietnamese girl.

The "setup" varies, but insofar as Hou Va, Tin Vong and Hotspot, you basically get to choose from a lineup. Bear in mind these are not the classy type establishments you may be normally used to visiting - ie. Darling et al., but more run-of-the-mill places... generally far smaller, fewer rooms, not as nicely decorated and generally without the spa/sauna facilities.

Of the three I mentioned, I really liked the Hotspot. Whilst you don't get the sauna/spa, the place did have a big tub in the room where the girl would give you a nice wash. The Hou Va was just a simple room with bath. As a matter of fact, they have rooms upstairs - which is really a flat in the residential part of the building.

Alas, couldn't give it a shot on the weekend, but I'll be heading over frequently over the coming weeks, so fingers crossed.

BJL, any other places in this same category you can recommend?

I visit HK several times a year on business, and on each trip I will typically monger in Macau once or twice during the evening. Each trip adds 4 stamps to my passport, so as you can see given the frequency of my visits my passport fills up very fast. Plus, if by chance my SO ever comes across my passport and gets curious, it could make for a very interesting conversation! I know that foreign travelers that frequently go to HK can obtain some type of frequent visitor card, but will having one of those eliminate the need for immigration stamps to/from Macau?

As far as I know only HK permanent residents can access Macau without presenting their passports. I don't know of any other way that forieigners can get in without a passport stamp.

Not a good idea to mess with your passport. I have a US passport. It is against the law to tamper with your passport, just tell your so you are there for business .

I have a US passport. I was born in Hong Kong w/ Hong Kong permanent ID, but every time I enter Hong Kong or Macau I use my US passport for reason if anything happen I will have the support of the US Embassy in Hong Kong.

My US passport have been ammended to add page twice in the last 5 yr. You
can do this at no cost, just pay for the mailing cost. If you don't have a HK
permanent ID or China ID you need to be stamp everytime.

I also travel to China and Asia about 6 time a yr for business, so my passport
is thick like a wallet.

I am currently negotiating with one of the Biggest Macau Travel agencies to handle the PRC,Russian,Latin and other girls who work in Karaoke,Saunas to go to the Philippines for their 3rd country stamp.After their 30 days is up in Macau,They have to leave and go back to Macau after an overnight stay in a third country to renew their stay in Macau.But with the cheap flights daily of Tiger Air and Air Asia as well as the increase in frequency of Air Macau Flights ,They are planning to use the Philippines.

It is free to amend your US passport for extra pages. You require form DS-19, fill it out, and write 'ADD MORE PAGES', send it in with your US Passport to the address listed (in South Carolina) with a return envelope or return postage and you should get it in 3 weeks. Write when your departure date is to occur. Depending on volume of amendments, it can take as long as 6 weeks. If you do not have a return envelope with postage, they will mail it to you via 1st Class mail, but that could add an extra week as it goes to one department to the next. You can expedite your amended passport with a fee of $60 USD! Expensive and it used to be $35 USD. Then it takes less than 2 weeks.

All US Embassies also have the option of amending passports in which you use the same form. A person at the US embassy in Tokyo, Japan stated they were to mail it the same way from the Embassy, as the building area is considered US Territory (like an APO or FPO, etc.), however, I've received reports, including a few listed above, that some US Embassies add pages on the spot! I did it twice inside the USA.

Did the same as Bill, in Guangzhou, and once in Hong Kong. And like most things between China and Hong Kong, it was faster and more pleasant (about 10 minutes from beginning to end in the US Consulate in Central near HSBC headquarters) in HK, but much higher security and longer wait time in GZ (about 25 minutes from beginning to end in the US Consulate near White Swan Hotel but has since moved to new office near East Train Station in Tian He area).
Also, it's a free service to all US citizens.

Mrs. Monger and I just returned from an overnight stay in Macau. We booked into the Holiday Inn, which is undergoing massive renovations for the next month or so. Oskar's Pub is temporarily gone -- it's the new lobby. The hotel is more than a little depressing right now.

Checked out the racetrack at the Lisboa. Took the Missus into the cafe in the middle of the action. Took her about five minutes to realize something was going on.

Mighty fine totty, but I've never seen so many artificial baps in one place in my life. Didn't get much attention though, despite the Missus's hot looks; PRC babes must not fancy girl-to-girl action.

Walked back to the Holiday Inn and sat down at the sidewalk cafe amidst the Russian babes. About 15-20 girls working. At any one time 2-3 would be out in the pedestrian walkway soliciting. Very skittish though. The local police must be rousting them, because someone would sound the alarm and the gals on the pavement would run back to their tables. I only took two sheet out. They're all numbered, but some of the visas, like China's, take up a whole page, and the other pages have so many stamps on them the page numbers don't really jump out at you. If someone really wanted to look, yeah, I guess they could figure it out, but if you're flipping through, looking at the stamps, it's kind of hard to tell.

Be very careful if you go into a US consulate, especially in Guangzhou, to get pages added to you passport. I have heard of cases where they have canceled US passports on the spot for pending legal action against you in the states. Evidently, a little known law allows an American consulate overseas to cancel passports of people reported by any State Child support offices to the Dept of State as in arrears by more than $5,000 on their child support. I am not talking about judgements against you but only pending court action. This could also be for IRS tax issues or legal judgements or whatever you might have in your past.

Again be careful handing in your passport!

If things work out, it could be more economical to go to Millionaire's Sauna in the Beverly Hotel. They usually always have Russians, usually some are decent looking. You don't get off at the sauna floor because then you have to pay for the sauna/shower/sitting area. You go one floor higher(I think 3F), then get out and look at the women. You can get ST here, and most of the girls are really lonely, so you might be able to take them out after they get off work. That's what I did to get this Japanese cutie. She ended up taking two days off work and we were in bed nonstop and all I had to do was buy her lunch/dinner and take her to a movie.

The only other place I remember reliably having Russians and maybe Latinas was BBoss. If you go to Darling2 and not Darling 1 you could save a little money.

I speak a little Mandarin, but for specifics, I usually have to find an English speaking manager. The first time I went there, a taxi driver took me, and the guy in the elevator just took me up to (I think) the 3rd floor. I had a seat and there was a lineup of 40+ women. Another time I got off on the 2nd floor, and did the shower, change into pajamas, sit in the sauna, and sit in the waiting room, watch TV, etc. The lineup is exactly the same. I would bet you would see more girls upstairs because their isn't enough room downstairs for more than 20 girls to line up.

When you get out of the elevator you'll either see some couches and no girls, or you'll see some girls hanging out. You take a seat, and the manager calls the girls and you get a lineup. You don't get the whole sauna experience, just the good part, and you save a little money(though I don't remember exactly how much). I like this place because pretty consistently they will always have Japanese , Korean, and Russian girls, more so than other places.

Took a trip to the weird but wonderful city of Macau several months ago but just now had a chance to post. Purchased a package from shop 316 on the second floor of the Shun Tak Center. One night at the Holiday Inn, 90 minute session at Darling 2 and round trip transportation on the turbo jet set me back $1608 HKD. It seems you get a much better deal during the week.Certain agents handle the packages for certain saunas, so ask around for the place you are interested in.
As soon as I checked in, I headed over to Darling 2 (refer to the sauna section for my review). Had dinner at a joint called Henri's Galley, famous for their Mecanese food. I was the only patron there but the african chicken was outstanding. After dinner walked over to the Lisboa to do some gambling. I thought it was strange that the guard asked to see my passport before entering the casino floor. Checked out the merry-go-round in the basement. Plenty of chinese babes asking around 500 ptcs., but due to our language barrier, I decided to hold off.
Went back to the Holiday Inn for a nap and was solicited by a tall Chinese woman. She was asking 400 ptcs. and I politly declined. Lots of SW between the Holiday Inn and the Lisboa. After some rest, I bumped into Oksana from Siberia. She was quite the looker, with a great body, blue eyes and long blond hair. She drove a hard bargan at 1000 ptcs. I was dressed to kill, so she probably thought I was a player. After hemming and hawing for a while, I decided to invite her to my room and the rest is history. If price is not an issue and you want quality then you better go to the saunas.
At least you have a guarantee that the girls working there follow some standards of service and if you are not satisfied you can always call the manager, or threaten do do so.
You might be tempted to sample some of the Russians outside Lisboa.
I must confess that some of them are quite good looking.
You would be paying about 1000 patacas which is only slightly less than you pay in some saunas.
But the problem is that they operate on their own and you can't just say to them that you are going to complain to the papasan in case you are not satisfied.

If you have never been to Asia (HK, Macau, mainland China, Bankok etc.) and taking into account your time limit, Macau is the place to go.

You might have to travel an extra hour from HK but the selection and the facilities are better than HK. Everything is out in the open and fully advertised while you will have to hunt and take your chances in HK.

If you read the posts for K Pressure in the HK section, you would love the convenience. 45 minutes for HK$530 room and board all inclusive.

For $1000 you can get Darling2 in Macau, 90 minutes with a "fish bowl" for choosing and a huge bath tub for body massage and full service with all the trimmings. $600 or so gets you Hou Va as recommended before. HK$200 for 30 minutes at the inner harbour 2nd tier hotels. $500 for the top tier Lisboa basement girls.

Finally you have to experience the $1400 top of the line Darling 1, even just once. The only thing that bugs me about Darling1 is that I always feel I should have picked that other girl who smiled at me, because the selection is so spectacular.

The above is just my opinion. China is a totally different story but you need time to get to know the system and the rules.

This had to do mostly with the US and Britain stepping up security measures (such as photographing and fingerprinting people at customs) and raising the prices for visas for people from certain countries, which had well-known histories of large numbers of over-stayers and IIs (Illegal Immigrants).

China in turn retaliated by massively jacking up the cost of visas for people from those countries to what they imagine is an equivalent amount in local currency. So now the cost of a six-month, multiple entry visa is 1,200 HKD for Americans, and similar increases have hit people from the UK and maybe one or two other places. Note that the charge for visas is much lower for people from elsewhere, that is, holding non-US or UK passports.

I suggest you ask a HK travel agent to arrange your visa, if you need one. There is little savings to be had by shopping around anywhere today and the reputable travel agents do not typically tack on a commission. I recomment Travelex. Note that the Shenzhen visa only allows you to go around Shenzhen. You cannot hop on the train to Guangzhou! And I also believe they stopped issuing those visas at Lowu last year, but again, check with a travel agent to see if it has restarted (I doubt it.) The siutation is volatile and the PRC authorities are not very good at keeping people informed about changes in the rules. Neither, come to think of that, are the HK immigration authorities.

One of the cheapest and very reliable travel agents is Japan travel in Hong Kong, 5/F, East Ocean Ctre., 98 Mody rd., Tsim Sha Tsui East., Tel. 2368 9151

A 1 year multiple entry visa for vountries that are not on their "special list" costs 750 HK$ (400 for 6 months), no restriction on the time of each stay.

But you need to have been in China at least once in the same year. And a renewal is only granted if you have entered at least 3 times on the last visa.

When I was there last (around 3 months ago) they couldn't provide visas for US passport holders. You need to call to see the uptodate regulations.

If you're going to the Chinese embassy, get a visa with two entries. Just in case you want to return to China again within the same trip. Cost maybe $25 more(?) but it's good for six months. You never know when you have that itch to go back to China for bargain hunting.

This week I went to macau for 3 days/2 nights. After spending the afternoon in the office, I left around 8pm, had a great Italian Pizza in the restaurant right opposite the ferry Terminal. Then went to explore an area that I am not yet very familiar with but I read so much about, The inner harbour area.
Went to check out if there is a cheaper but reasonably good accomodation available besides the big Hotels.

First try: Pensao Florida, price 230MOP, quality ok for the price, but I wanted a bit more than a guest House.Then just out of curiosity I checked the central Hotel, well knowing that I would not be going to stay there. Price: 150MOP, and because "it was a very cheap room", they would not let me check it out before checkin in. (nice explanation, isn't it).

I decided to walk around the area a little more and then head for a travel Agent to get a room in a real Hotel.
Went past Pensao Forson. Lots of girls in the Lobby, but they were so pushy through the glass that I decided not to go in.

Aross the road in the side road opposite Pensao Forson there is another such establishment, called Pensao Ruby, girls waving me in as I passed by.

Since it was already getting late (around midnight), I went back to the Holiday inn area, to see a travel agent. I got the Grandeur Hotel, very near the Holiday inn for 400 HK$. But it is really not worth more. Receptionist with very bad English (I asked it if they had running hot water for 24 hours and Was told that I could boil hot water myself - Question necessary, since evenin the holiday inn once I wanted to take a shower after midnight and found the water cold), no room safe and no TV remote control. That is a 4 star Hotel. What a Joke.

Left my bag there and headed for the SW scene behind the holiday Inn.
Surprisingly it was almost dead, just girls sitting at te well known street restaurant. Since there was a free table, I sat down for a couple of Macau beers (You got to try them! A very unique taste) watching the scene.

Just got back from a trip to Asia - Philippines, China (Ningbo), and Macau. The Philippines turned out to be incredibly and unfortunately boring. My buddy needed to go for a few days for business and we had decided to try the absolute best, but something has happened because Pegasus turned out to be dead and the mamasan indicated nothing could be done with the girl, either take out or in the VIP room. I spent about a week at the Central Hotel last November. The chinese name is Xin1 Zhong1 Yang4 JiuDian. It is a total dump, but great location and the cheapest place I could find after looking all over the city. They have some dank windowless rooms that even a cheapskate like me wouldn't stay in! Pay extra and get a room with window.
It was listed at the Macau ferry terminal hotel booking desk, as the last hotel on the list I (listed by price & quality). So you can book a room right there at the terminal.
They had a few cute girls when I was there. They would just walk into my room without knocking (I should lock my door I guess) and ask for 300 for sex. If I pretended I wasn't interested then the price would go down. I had a fun time there...
You probably need to speak some chinese if you plan to stay there, not much english spoken.

High rollers around the world will continue to flock to Vegas or Europe for their gambling needs, the high rollers in Macau will almost exclusively be prominent figures from the Mainland.

I wouldn't bet on the explosion that Fortune article had predicted for Macau because after all, an average Chinese citizen's income is still one of the worst in the world.

You guys that can live in this paradise are lucky. I was visting HK these past 2 weeks with the occasional trips to the casinos and needed to get a Lisboa fix. I was frequenting the Mong Kok brothels and K Pressure in HK and needed to check out the girls in Lisboa. Just like experiencing Disneyland in HK you need to experience the girls at Lisboa. Basically It was a business trip,So I did not get time to monger much.I arrived from Manila and checked in at the old reliable Holiday Inn,After a day of meetings,I checked out the Russians at the Outdoor cafe behind Holiday Inn,Since Oskars bar is under renovation,This is their temporary hangout.There were about 30 of them in a pack waiting for customers.I waited until about 12 before making my offer,since Prices are higher in early and mid evening.Unfortunately It was still at 600 last price,So I called it a night and decided for some early morning action..Sure enough at 530am,Remember I wake up early I took a stroll and picked one up for 500 patacas,with the condition that she sleep in.So had 1 shot and We had breakfast then she fell asleep and woke up at 12,where I got another shot in before she left.Not bad 2 shots for 500 plus breakfast.

But my outlook and belief for Macau's future is that it will be decided by economics and profits. With Gaming being the most unique business in the region, inevitably its manufacturing and sex industry will be forced to take a backseat to the renaissance Gaming industry that in my opinion has its limitations on growth, quality, and durability.

I try to avoid 2 so called 4 star hotels in Macau. One is Grandeur and the other one is Holiday Inn. It is the worst Holiday inn I have been in so far.
And now it is under noisy construction.

Even last night(Saturday) at 10pm they were making such a terrible noise that one could not sit in the street restaurant on the street behind.

Book the Hotel at the ferry terminal in Hong Kong before going on the ferry, and you will get a good deal (You will also get better deaks for the ferryticket from the travel agents in the terminal). Hotel Kingsway is not bad and reasonably priced, Hyatt is excellent and a bit more expensive.

But watch out during the Grand Prix in november and maybe even a week before prices skyrocket and availability is very limited.
If you arrive by air directly to Macau, you may go to a travel agents near the holiday inn to get a hotel cheaper than walkin.

that was stinginess on the part of cheapskate management,I found out that they turn the heaters off at 11pm to save power,I found out out that they also dont turn them on until 5am.This is one of the bad HI s in Asia,the front desk staff generally doesnt speak english well,Good thing I speak Filipino and I just talk to the 20% of the staff that is Filipino,Their english is better and they are more helpful,same for the waiters.It was the Filipino staff who told me about the water heater.Helps to be a filipino speaking gwailoh,But since my tour groups are Filipino,they feel at home at holiday inn macau.Just tell them you want to talk to a filipino if you have language problems with the staff,tell them"gago ang intsik"that should make them more helpful Best Regards

i’m back in the us after spending 3 days in macau last week, before a trip to hk. i stayed at the emperor hotel, and did not arrange any package deals. the emperor is a decent 3-star hotel, just a couple of blocks from the holiday inn (i wanted to avoid hi because of the construction). the only complaint with the hotel is that the walls are a bit thin, and the beds are almost as hard as the floor.

i’ve been to macau before, so i know a bit about the local options for fun. i should preface by saying i’m of northern chinese descent, raised in the us, and fluent in mandarin. i’m physically bigger than the average chinese guy (5’10”, 180 lbs), and relatively muscular. all the chinese girls i’ve been with have made comments about my size; so i’ll take that as a good thing.

first stop was darling 1 (d1) late in the afternoon. i’ve been to darling 2 (d2), and have read about d1. as prepared as i thought i was, i was still unprepared for the line-up. i think it was the sheer number of girls, and how close/open they are to the viewing area. they definitely have a lot more girls, and higher quality, than d 2. the last time i was at d2, only malays, vietnamese and thai girls were available. i don’t think there were malays at d1; but there were a large number of chinese girls. as pointed out before, the “models” were nothing special, and for my money, certainly not worth the premium.

i took my time over my selection, walking back and forth between the thai, viet and chinese sections. the manager (papa?) recommended thai and vietnamese for their skill. i looked at all the girls in the eye and just about all of them looked right back (this gives me a sense of whether the girl prefers not to be with me).

in the end, i picked 1 of the 3 mainland girls (face 8, body 7) that the manager recommended based on skill. i also picked a chinese girl as i like to converse with her during the session (i think this personalizes the experience and may result in better service). the service was good (fire/ice, bbbj, not rushed even though i took a while as i had beer during the viewing). the massage was a bit weak, even though she tried (she asked how she was doing), as she just didn’t have the strength for that kind of work. i gave her a $200 tip when it was over. i learned a few things during the session which i’ll pass on.

to regular readers, it’s not a surprise to hear that these chinese girls do not like to be with caucasians. the reason given was either due to penis size, or just not comfortable with the idea. she told me that the vast majority of chinese girls feel this way; but the thai and viet girls don’t seem to have an issue. one needs to remember that these are unsophisticated country girls who have never gone outside of china. what was really funny was she told me some of the girls would hide behind the “wall” if they saw someone they didn’t want to be with. for those not familiar, this “wall” is less than 3’ high (probably closer to 2’). there is really no way to hide without looking silly.

i visited china city twice over the following 2 days (i could not find the mummy from mo mo there). the set up is very much like mo mo, only real difference being that it is not located within a hotel (it’s 2 floors below d1). depending on what time of day you go, the club gets anywhere from $200 to $600 for the time you spend picking out the girl and drinking/eating; it’s $1,000 for the girl. the total time is 3 hours, usually 1 hr at the club and 2 hours in the room (although this may depend on how quickly you fire your load).

the rooms are 1 floor above the club itself. although not as nice as the rooms at the hi, they are clean and functional. one thing i liked vs mo mo is that when you go to the room with the girl, you don’t ride up the same elevator as the other guests in the hotel. maybe i’m too thin-skinned, but it was uncomfortable for me to be riding an elevator with all sorts of people, while a seductively-dressed young woman is draped around me. i’m sure most people knew what was going on (this is probably why i don’t go after the girls working in the lisboa). you do take the elevator down 1 floor when you’re done; but, the only people you may run into are guys leaving d1.

all the girls i saw there were from the mainland, and all were within a couple of years of 20. they all had decent faces (7/8) and figures (6-8), and most had been there for no more than 1 month. for the most part, they planned to stay no more than 3/4 months. the service was ok and the girls aimed to please (fire/ice, bbbj); i tipped $200 each time. at these clubs, i like to kiss the girls and daty (somehow, in my mind, they are safer/cleaner than those at other places). the girls had no problem with french kissing and the daty.

i also went to the night club in the fortuna hotel (5th floor) to find out about their arrangement. it’s basically the same idea as the others ($320 up to 6pm for the club, up to as much as around $700 late in the evening). i also walked by the central hotel one evening around 8pm; i saw one ugly girl talking with 2 guys. she was so ugly she’d have to pay me for service.

so, i very much enjoyed my latest visit to macau. also, on this trip, although i’ve been with many chinese girls to this point, i’ve come to realize that it’s very hard to find a chinese woman with a good butt (maybe partially due to low-fat diet). to me, it’s not the most important feature on a woman; but it certainly contributes to a nice figure and gives something substantial to hold on to. i like shapely calves too, which are even harder to find (i think this is true no matter where you are). on to hk, see more there.

1. Lisbao Merry Go Round - Very interesting. Must experience or at least take a look when you're @ Macau. Mostly mainlanders and all of them looks ok, 7 or 8; but get ready for some aggressive ladies. The downside is you're under pressure by all of them, they are too keen to remove your pants at that moment ! The tip is to hang around for a couple of minutes, find the one that you like then signal her to sit down at the coffee shop to nego. Competition is simply too great for them, $500 is the guideline.

2. Boss Sauna - Somewhere nearby Lisbao. Sauna & clean massage (Shanghai Style) - Promotion at RM408 now. Boss Pacakge, means body massage and everything is at RM668 now. All Thai or Vietnamese; limited choice and to my standard, they all look horrible.

3. Darling 1 - Fish Tank. Lots of girls; in fact United Nation from Thai, Vietnam, Mainlander, a few Russian and they claimed even Korean ?! The tank is a bit small compare with Bangkok's Poseidon, Emanulle and many others; but without the glass panel, the girls are so close to you. Prices are a bit steep too, normal girls @ RM1388; Korean, Russin @ RM1500; and a few good tall looking model @ RM1700. Since you're already there, what the heck.

You must be white tourist. No insult intended. Typical ST at Lisboa is 500. When I was there with my white mongering friend a year ago, the girls came over and went down to 500 for my friend.

Just sit in the basement dim sum restaurant and get a good seat to watch the pageant walk for 30 minutes before making your selection.

After sitting down for a minute, if you make eye contact with any of the girls, they'll come over to chat with you. But becareful you don't want them to sit with you cause they might start eating on your bill. Whoever you make eye contact with, just make sure it's who you want. Don't mind the waiters and waitresses, they know what the deal is there. If not for the girls, I doubt the restaurant would have so many customers.

1) Holiday Inn being revamped, as are many, but still it's a good bargain + you do get points with their frequent stay program, however the club they have, Momo, is closed. Anyone know more on Mono's replacement? Fortuna is a nice hotel with the Supreme Sauna right inside. I usually stay at the hotels in Hong Kong and ferry it over. Infact, now there is an Express at HI in Causeway Bay if HIs are of interest to you. Cheaper than the overpriced TST hotels. There are so many hotel choices in Hong Kong and Macau.

2) You cannot take a camera inside a sauna. You will have to put it in the locker.

3) Usually one shot, unless the girl likes you, or you can negotiate more.

Some saunas do have a hidden 2-girl bargain. Get the first girl at the normal price, which includes the room. Get the second girl for $300 HKD! Got it twice at Supreme, once offered by the papasan, once offered by the girl in the room. When I asked or it, some reason it didn't exist. So let them come to you with the offer.

I agree with Squib Boy, "Most of the Russians are "NOT AS GOOD" looking when compared to their counterparts that work in other parts of the world". The girls in Macau are mainly from Eastern Russia, Vladivostok Area. The Eastern Russia girls don't look anything like their Western cousins. Most of them have natural dark black hair. Some are weird looking with their bleach blonde ( almost white ) hair over their black hair. They look wild with lots of makeup, and NOTHING conservative looking like a school teacher, IMHO. Out of about 20 SW, I only saw 2-3 that I was willing to pay 1000RMB.

I always go solo to Darling. I speak some Mandarin, but Darling has always had a manager that can speak passable English, and I've never seen a foreigner get turned away. If you're in HK, buy a ferry package upstairs at Shun Tak. That way you can just show the taxi driver the Darling ticket and he can take you there without any language problems.

As promised, after my report in HK, I spent a day in Macau. After a nice tour in the portugese area (2 hours walking around is enough) I took a cab back to Darling 1.

I just need to say it out. If you haven't been to Macau to try the nightclub package, then i have to recommend that you and your buddies try it out at leat once to know the difference between the nightclub quality and the massage places.

I stand to be corrected but I have to say that the quality in the nightclubs are far better than what is on offer in the massage places. Also, the pricing seems to be cheaper too.

The last time I went, i managed to get a package deal worth HK$1.6K (from one of the travel agentcies in the HK terminal in Sheung Wan) where it included the return trip to HK, 2 hour (from 9pm to 11pm) nightclub session (drink all you want beer) with no additional tipping required with 2 girls sitting beside you at all times. You don't like a girl, select again.

Once you have made the selection, then your girl will sit with you and mummy will ask another girl to just accompany you until you leave for your room upstairs. All girls are wearing see through dresses with full view of their nipples and undies.
