In February, I spent 3 nights in KL. My original intention was to stay only 2 nights en route from the Philippines back to the UK, but due to a change of plans I had 1 day fewer in the Philippines and 1 day extra in Malaysia. First night, I went to the Beach Club, which I had visited about 4 or 5 times on a trip about 18 months previously. On the second night, I resolved to do something different. I was staying near KL Sentral Station, basically for easy access to the Express rail route to and from the international airport. The Express is convenient, quick and inexpensive, by the way. Sentral is located OK for night-time taxi trips to and from areas such as Bukit Bintang etc. But on this occasion I did not want to journey into the city center only to come back empty-handed. Browsing around on wechat yielded nothing in the way of promising freelancers, at least in the local area. However there were a few outcall agencies which looked interesting. I had never used an agency outcall before, and was rather wary, especially of bait and switch. One agency was offering 6 hours overnight for MYR 480 (about 80 GBP or $120 USD). 6 hours was shorter than I would have liked, but it was already about midnight, so just about acceptable. Also, the value for money seemed OK. For comparison, a BC takeout is MYR 500 for overnight plus 200 or possibly more for entrance and drinks plus taxi both ways would have totaled around MYR 700, maybe more.

So I call the advertised number, and the OKT answered. The wechat page provided details for about 8 women. Thai, Chinese, Vietnamese, of which I say about 2 were pretty hot (about 7.5 plus), another 2 were OK (about 6 plus), and the other 4 were not very interesting (less than 6). My first choice was not available. My second choice was not available. Not a good start. Fortunately my third choice, a Vietnamese, was available. I gave my hotel details and room number. Traffic through Singapore customs was jammed up, it took and hour to just get to the point where the bus could drop us off. Then a long walk to immigration. Though there was only 13 people in front of me it still took an hour to get through. Very slow. Customs was also very slow since they were looking for people with packs of cigarettes to tax. When I finally got through, my bus had left! I had to pay $10.00 for another bus to complete my trip to Beach Road.

I didn't chose it on price, and would have been happy for twice the price, but no matter what price bus there would have been the issues I described. Maybe you have a Singapore passport.

Just went to Chinatown to check out what it's like. Actually I planned to visit the brickfields knock shops, but even though I went thee super prepared with info from this forum, I found nothing. This is all personal opinion but I want to pass on what I perceive to be useful tips.

Firstly, when you are asked how long you will be in KL, never say that you will be leaving the next day. This just sets you up as somebody who can be ripped off. They don't have to think about the discomfort of seeing you the next night if they have ripped you off. Make it sound as though you will be back again night after night.

Secondly, negotiate to pay only the minimum amount for ST in advance and say that you'll pay an agreed tip if they fulfill their service agreement afterwards- if they won't agree, ket them go. Firstly, when you are asked how long you will be in KL, never say that you will be leaving the next day. This just sets you up as somebody who can be ripped off. They don't have to think about the discomfort of seeing you the next night if they have ripped you off. Make it sound as though you will be back again night after night.

Secondly, negotiate to pay only the minimum amount for ST in advance and say that you'll pay an agreed tip if they fulfill their service agreement afterwards- if they won't agree, ket them go. This avoids the problem where girl takes off after one shot even though you may have already paid an agreed amount for LT. The honest ones will always agree to this arrangement.

Thirdly, best chance to negotiate price is in the last few hours before closing.

Many of you will have your own tips and may not necessarily agree with mine but I have found these principles have helped prevent me from being short changed. This process is effective:

Reached KL on Saturday evening. Checked in to Invicto Hotel in Bukit Bintang. It is the the first time I am staying this hotel and surprised to know it is just few steps from Changkat. A little perspective:

I spent 3 days in KL last week. Overall, one of the most boring experiences in that place of my life.

Pinays are gone. No trace of them in BC, Gypsy, and other bars of Changkat. If they are there, they were well hidden for those days due to some reason. I had lot of nostalgy for the group of my Pinay friends of my last visits. Nothing like having 2 or 3 of them in my room may lighten up a night.

BC had an overwhelming majority of men over passable girls. This is enough to understand the rest.
