Hokkaido is a 5-minute walk from the Station. This evening for dinner, I hopped on the MRT (Kajang Line) and got to Pasar Seni Station in Chinatown in less than 10 minutes, the fare is about Rm1. 30.
Get the RapidKL MyRapid Card which can be used at all public transportation including the KLIA Express from the airport. It vis so convenient. The cost of the card is only Rm5.

I arrived in KL yesterday after 2 weeks in Bangkok and Pattaya. I am here primary to relax and enjoy the local food. Still, I have to check out Hokkaido. So I went this afternoon around 2 PM. There is no single pick up bar as you see in BKK or Pattaya for example. It's one block of bars and I went only one night with a friend for a pint there but did see a few girls who were looking for customers. Just go to the Changkat / Bukit Bintang area and you'll see a whole street lined with bars. I just got back from a business trip in KL.

Was in Kuala Lumpur last week of February, and I Have to say thing are prbably starting to pick up a little, probable a little better that what h as been mentioned anyway.
Only managed 2 punts as most of the time was spent being dragged from one end of KL to the other by family and friends who don't usually partake in this scene.

For noobs without connections Hokkaido is probably a good place to start. Service is 268, PRC +20. Haven't posted on ISG for years. Thailand and DR are my hunting grounds but I'll be passing through KL (for the first time) on my way to Thailand next week. I'm heading to KL in a couple of weeks for the first time in since 2019. Probably not going to be partaking in the scene as I am flying in a regular from Jakarta, but do need to restock with Cialis. No shortage of excellent restaurants from a few dollars upward's. Ah the joys of Asia.

Sorry for the delayed report, I was in KL couple of months back and stayed in Butik Bintang area and my venture had been mostly through telegram. Stayed in the Shangri-la which had me pining for days long gone. Had a room facing the Twin Towers, so I looked over the Sultan Ismail / P. Ramlee intersection and the car park where the center of fun used to be. The original Beach Club. The "newer" version is now a derelict fenced off building, along with the restaurant / bar / nightclub beside it. The Thai Club, although not fenced off, is just as derelict, and you certainly wouldn't want to have anything to do with the people now frequenting it. Healey Mac's is still there, but you wonder how long for. It's funny to look at P'Ramlee on google maps calls it a vibrant nightlife area no longer I would say.
Spent a few evenings on Changkat Bukit Bintang. Ladies are still hanging out in the same spots Gypsy & Why Not, with the usual wanderers trying to catch the eye of the unsuspecting gents sitting in other bars. Broad mix of Viet, Chinese, Filipina and a few Africans. But they were all in the same category, and that was the fugly one. All were either well past their use by date, or just nothing that I would want to party with. I am sorry you went through couple of bad calls. The thing is to incall seek out those agency that you can go to their lounge that provide free food and drinks. Was in Kuala Lumpur last week of February, and I Have to say thing are prbably starting to pick up a little, probable a little better that what h as been mentioned anyway.

This is my experience doing the Bukit Bintang walkabout. Time around 2. 30 am. Day was Friday Night. Started walk from the bottom of the hill on Jalan Alor. So, this is from Jalan Pavilion walking up the hill on Jalan Alor towards Changkat Bukit Bintang. For Pooning, Jalan Alor is a dead street. But next to them is a couple of Abangs selling halal char kway teow and other local noodle dishes. Long line up and lots of local clients, especially lady boys. I bought a couple of packets from them, $8 Rm each, and they were delicious. Across the street, and in front of the triangle in the road, there is KK Supermart.
