I went there for 3 times. 2 times with PRC chicks and 1 time local. PRCs were young girl and allow for auto roaming. Such scammers are quite common in the Philippines where people will scam unsuspecting or gullible chatters. Even if you want to see the ladies face, they will oblige. Normally one of those con artiste is a lady and if you ask to see their web cam, they will oblige. They will even give you a number and a sweet lady will talk you out of your money. Then they will ask for top up etc. Dont be conned. The scammers here must have learnt something from their Philippine brothers.

Thanks Madboss for the info. In the end, Penang just isn't worth the trouble so I have decided that I'll just move onto Thailand. Cheaper, not as many hassles, and probably about the same level in terms of quality I imagine.
KL was definitely easier and my experiences there were quite a bit better. Singapore was about the same. Anyway, I hope you guys realize how silly the whole MIB thing really is. Like Miao said, if a complete stranger can come on the board and pretend like he is just a regular joe, does it matter how he gets the info? Whether it is on the board or through PM, I think they could easily get info and they probably have more info then any senior here.
