Hi Jackson,
What's happened to the counter on the picture pages? All are now registering zero counts on my browser.
Jackson,
I'm just asking this out of curiosity. Whenever I have submitted a post that contains the letters m-u-n in that sequence, those three letters seem to be deleted and replaced by asterisks, e.g., com***ication, or the Portuguese word 'co***s.' Any particular reason why?

Jackson,
A concern about credit card charging for subscription.
I have been "away" from ISG for some time now and have "returned" recently. Still the same mix of valuable information and entertainment that has proven very worthwhile in the past.
I have also seen in my mail box two polite suggestions from yourself to consider subscribing to the forum. I would be remiss not to do so.
I also recognise the enormous effort and not inconsiderable cost that you go to, to provide ISG/WSG and so was happy to subscribe twice, 2 x 1 year - once for my use of the forum, and another for the monger that neglected to pay. I am sure that there is at least one of those somewhere, consider it an added donation to keep the electrons moving.
Going to the credit card form - I was concerned that very full personal details, addresses etc are required to be filled in, and this makes me very uncomfortable.
I realise that by entering the usual charging details - credit card number - name on card and expiry date - records are kept and billed by the credit card company.
However, requiring all the details requested to be entered in the on-line form does give me pause.
Is it possible to limit the details to those generally required for a charge as above? I would like to forward my contribution to the cause and ask.
Keep up the good and important work from which we all benefit.
Excess
[blue]Hi Excess,
Actually, the most important piece of data is your username, which IS NOT transmitted to the credit card processor but is instead kept in my shopping cart's database WHICH I ROUTINELY DELETE.
In other words, the link between your credit card charge and your username is only in my possession, and is deleted weekly because once I process your subscription, I don't need any of the data.
Thanks,
Jackson[/blue]
Hi Jackson,
Thanks for that - while still not comfortable it is too important work to let go without a contribution.
You will find Excess' subscription in your today's card processing.
I tried to add a second subscription as I mentioned earlier but was foiled by the credit card system that threw up a "cannot process duplicate order" response.
I then went for the 6 month subscription for the second one to see if that was accepted as being a different "product" - this time it went through as OK - allowed. You will see the second payment today as well.
So, that means Excess is done, but the "only" member who forgot to pay his sub. this year will have only 6 months paid for instead of the year.
I am sure that he, whoever he is, will get onto it by then.
Thanks for the tremendous effort and personal cost over the years to host this site, Jackson.

Hello Jackson,
It is nearly impossible to trace in a group of this size. You should find a way to jump to pictures from certain from groups or to a certain age or whatever.
It is otherwise not to handle.
I would appreciate that.

I love you and I love your work.
Your recent change on Sosua (DR) has confused me though - at least spell the name SOSUA correctly. You seem to be a purist on spelling and punctuation, but this one somehow slipped by.
Since a couple of weeks, I don't receive any email allert in case someone posts me a private message.
I have checked my email address held by ISG and it results correct.
What's up?
Dear Editor,
Can something be added to the "please don't use chatroom style" text that appears with each reply, to the effect "please only quote appropropriately". Some forums seem to have more quote content than actual text. IMO it's a waste of space, not to mention time when using slow-ass net cafes, when people quote a 10 paragraph report only to add a sentence or two, sometimes nothing more than a "yeah I agree" response. The Shanghai China thread is a good example of this.
Frankle,
I agree with you that the length of many quotes is excessive. I think the reason this happens is because this forum won't let you highlight just a portion of a post and quote only the part you want as a quote. I have attempted to highlight one or two sentences of a post in order to quote it, and have ended up with the entire post quoted. It is then necessary to edit the quote and erase all but the part you want to quote before you submit the post, and apparently some posters are just too lazy to do this. It would be a great help if we could have quoted only that portion that we highlight.
Lorenzo
i think the easiest method, after clicking "reply with quote", would be to place the mouse cursor at the start of the quoted text that's not relevant, then while holding the shift key use the down and right arrow keys to highlight it, then press backspace. i'm certain some windows users aren't aware of this method for speed-deleting of text (including me up to a while back!) and erronously think they need to hold the delete key and do it character-by-character.

Hi Jackson,
I have been requesting that some pictures that I have posted on the Cali, Colombia board be removed. I have sent you e-mails, "reported bad post" to moderator as requested many times, and the photos are still there.
The pictures are of my guide/friend in Cali. He said that his "life" is in danger because of these photos are online. Is there anyway that you help me out? I did not want to cause this guy any problems with my posting (I was only trying to help him get more business).
I am sorry for causing you more work also.
Please help me out and delete that post. You have e-mails to let you know which as well as the "report bad post" to guide you to the right photos.
Thanks,
$Bill

Dear Jackson,
Please accept my thanks for deleting that post in the Cali section. I really do appreciate your taking care of that.

Maybe people have started using it differently, but I think the abbreviations section has its definition of "sandbagging" backwards. See: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sandbagging_(drag_racing)
You might also add the term RCA - Reverse Cowgirl Anal, though I suppose this is more for porn movies (looks good on screen) than real life.
[blue]Hi E Z Rhino,
The defination of "sandbagging" that is described in the wikipedia site specifically applies to drag racing.
I added RCA to the abbreviations list.
Thanks,
Jackson[/blue]
