Canada's proposed anti-prostitution laws
The following is according to a front-page article in the June 5, 2014 The Globe and Mail, "Canada's National Newspaper" titled "Prostitution. TOUGH NEW RULES ON HOW SEX IS SOLD". The article says "The Conservative government is answering a Supreme Court ruling that struck down prostitution laws with a tough new law that would ban the selling of sex anywhere that people under 18 are found, or in advertisements raising questions about how sex workers could safely ply their trade. Police would be given new powers to search for and seize advertising materials for the sale of sex, a provision that could be used to raid escort services, which now operate virtually in the open. And from steep fines to jail sentences as high as five years, the government would try to send a message to johns that buying sex is a crime. But the law also has potential jail sentences of up to five years for sex workers who advertise".
Although the article refers to this proposal as a "law", so-far it is only a proposal.

Canada enacts new anti-prostitution law targeting clients
According to an article published November 4, 2014 in The Globe and Mail, Canada's new anti-prostitution law "now only needs royal assent, a formality, to become law":
http://www.theglobeandmail.com/news/politics/tory-prostitution-bill-gets-senate-approval/article21450839/
The law makes it in most ways and places legal to be a prostitute but a crime to be the customer of a prostitute. Beware, gentlemen!
Purchasing sex in Canada will be a crime effective December 6, 2014
"Canada's prostitution Bill see-36 passed the Senate Nov. 6 and will go into effect Dec. 6, criminalizing the purchase of sex for the first time in Canadian history. ".

Beach Bunnies, Kelowna, British Columbia, slightly different new location
See the shop's web page, www.beachbunnies.ca, for the address and telephone number, since the current Administrator, A2, prohibits posting addresses and telephone numbers here on ISG. As before, the slightly different address (6 digits different from the address in my previous report, below in this thread on 8-1-2013) is unhelpful regarding finding the place. If you go to the address on the web site, www.beachbunnies.ca (facing Highway 97) you'll be on the wrong side of the building. Beach Bunnies is still located in the same industrial area as before, about 100 meters from and probably within sight of the former location. The building Beach Bunnies formerly occupied has been demolished. The current location is between the old location and Highway 97. My previous directions below in this thread on 8-1-2013 are still mostly correct: From the middle of Kelowna head towards the Kelowna Airport (east, then northeast) on Highway 97 and turn right on Leathead Road. This puts you eastbound on Leathead Road. Take your first left on Leathead Road (after the Toyota dealership) , which is Dease Road (going north). You will pass under an arch at the end where the only way to go is right. A few yards or meters after that the only way to go is left. But here's where it's different now: After you make that left, make another left (towards Highway 97). Look slightly to your right and you will see a white sign in a window with the letters "BB", which stand for Beach Bunnies.
