I hope it was a girl..
So had to sneak out after a good 3 hours of frisky groping and genunely passionate kissing , find a Honda om to some dodgy place where I set a new world record in releasing a load during a blowjob to some girl I could hardly see because the place was so dark.
Cost of BJ: 300,000 Vnd. ( $19 US).
Mongering at it's best.
Being it so dark..I hope they didnt pull a fast one on you. lol.

I hope it was a girl.
Thanks for your concern, but definitely a girl. The room where you choose them wasn't so dark, a typical karoke type set up. But the room for the action was like a chair in a room not much larger than a broom closet where the girl kneals down between your legs and goes for it.
This kind of thing is quite common in Vietnam where you ask for on premise services and they say no.
Then you say ' surely there must be somewhere' and you're led to what I call 'the dodgy chair room. '
Viet girls are pretty good at the BJ and if there was a world championship BJ competition I'm sure they'd do ok. Although they'd probably score more for enthusiasm than technique.
The latin girls seem to be pretty good in that department as well.

Ho Chi Minh
Wow,
Ho Chi Minh was a blast. We did all the tourist crap and ended up at Apocalypse Now every night. We started at Saigon Saigon bar on top of the Caravelle hotel. We befriended the bar tender and he made great drinks. We also went to the lounge at the Park Hyatt and had cocktails. Nice lounge singer, high end with great piano. Drinks here are fantastic also. We went to Q-bar, nice trendy place. Knocked back a few shots here. It is nice to check out some of the hotties looking for Western men. We ate at some really fun places. Lemongrass was Vietnamese, nice place and had a homey feeling. We ordered 3 meals for each person and shared them all. The Sushi Bar was a great place for sushi. We had Uni, Unagi, Ikura, Toro, Ibi and Masago. All was super fresh and really cheap. 12 beers, 3 bottles of Sake and lots of sushi $99, nice deal.
Now we were drunk every night and went to Apocalypse Now. I know we were the hunted here. This is a regular bar with some working women (sort of). We met a mini mamasan. She would direct us to all the working women. Back by the pool table is where most of the action in the pay for arena takes place. We would pull 3 girls from here and head for a late nigh place named Allez Boo. This place is in the Pham Ngu Loa backpacker area; however it is full of girls working and wanting to be worked. They sell food, have cheap drinks and stay open until you stop drinking. The girls we had cost $100 per night, that was all night and as many hits as we wanted. I know it seems high but we had a different budget. We stayed at a hotel named Liberty 4 Que Hong $75 per night. We had girls in the room every night and it was no problem. We arrived at the hotel around 4-6 am. Girls we permitted and we were not charged for them staying in the room.
In closing, the pussy, drinks and food were good; the traffic was a mother f#cker. Had a great time and would go back again soon. Peace out

Xmas and New Year's
Curious, what is it like during Christmas and New Year's in Ho Chi Minh? Is it any different or just status quo? Or do people leave the big city to go back to their families during this time? I am thinking about coming around that time, but want to have fun. If there is an exodus out of the city it might not be a good time for me to go then. Is New Year's Eve anything special, celebration wise here?

The Christmas period is a shopping spree as per everywhere but no special deal for nightlife. Never been there for New year.
The big celebration is TET (Chinese New Year) when people go home to family and those that are around party heard in the street. Some restaurants and stuff close for 3-4 days.

Saigon is packed and crazy fun from mid Dec through Chinese new year's eve which is about early Feb. Most are not Catholic and see Christmas and Western new year as the same even so they go out. Added to that many Viets abroad come home, especially single guys, taking advantage of the short holidays merging with their vacation time. Expect elbowing and competing for goods. It is actually the best time to be in VN to party, very festive atmosphere.

Hi guys,
Long time lurker first time poster. I was in HCM a few months back and noticed that the massage parlour at Vien Dong hotel was gone. Anybody knows what happened to it or where it moved to? I'm looking for a similar massage place around the same vicinity for my upcoming trip, any suggestions?
Thanks guys

Need help
Hi, I've been reading this board for months now since I bought my ticket (along with my parents) in July. I am a American-born Viet who is traveling to the mother country for the first time in his life. Although not entirely fluent in the language, I can speak enough to survive. I will be in Vietnam from Dec 11-Jan 4 and will be traveling all around the country. Can anyone help me with the basic survival guide to Vietnam? My mongering experience has only been limited to TJ. I want to have the time of my life with both working/civilian gals. Obviously discretion is necessary since I'm traveling with family rather than friends. What are some of the must-do's and must-not that will keep my safe and happy? What are some of the bars/sites that I should visit? How do I keep my money/passport, etc? Are there any good maps that shows all the sites? I have read enough to get an idea but still, I prefer a rudiment so I can avoid trouble. Thanks

WatchOut
I was here a year ago and things have changed in D1 area. Outside caraville and Independant palace used to be lots of drive by's. Now a majority are ladyboys. I was out last few nights trolling and one after another ladyboy kept coming up. Even some local motor bike drivers hanging around the corners shake their head in agreement.
Beware, they try to lure you to their place for quick action but you will get robbed. Anyone know if outside the zoo is still worth it?
HA Bai Truong bars still have some decent ones if you hunt.

District 5
Hey, I was in HCMC back in August 04 and found street-walkers outside the US Consulate and I took them to my hotel (Sofitel) a few minutes walk from there.
I'm looking for a similar arrangement this time too, but I'm in Windsor Plaza, 18 An Doung Vuong Street in District 5. What are my chances?
I'm really not into a long drive to Apo & other places in District 1.
Anyone?
