Kamphaeng Phet 7
Has anyone been to Kamphaeng Phet 7 since they finished the Airport Rail link? For those that don't know this area, it is Kamphaeng Phet 7, parallel to and just North of Phetchaburi road between Asok-Din Daeng and Phet Utai. Also, this is just east of the Phetchaburi MRT station. My question is whether the ladies are on the small street to the North side of the Airport rail link, or the two lane road just South of the Airport rail link. Both sides seemed dead, but perhaps I picked a bad day or a bad time.
Thanks guys!

CNBC: Worst Is Not Over for Bangkok.
http://video.cnbc.com/gallery/?video=3000054777
To all those following the Klong Sam Wa sluice gate story, and have difficulties to evaluate the information, here my impression:
The water quantity running through that sluice gate (now opened 1 m) is NOT sufficient to flood all of Bangkok's central districts. The water was also popping up in the Ram Inthra area south of the gate BEFORE the sluice gate was opened. There are many leaks and breaks in the northern flood barrier, the flooding in general is moving south in many northern areas of Bangkok, but it moves slowly. The real risk results from the huge water masses north of Bangkok (still approx. 12 bio cbm of water out there), and the weather. Nobody really knows how much water will hit Bangkok in the coming days, and if it then starts to rain again ... . Furthermore the next high tide of the Gulf of Thailand starts this weekend.
The Klong Sam Wa dispute seams to me to be built up as the "scapegoat story" for the politicians, preparing for the finger-pointing once the flood recedes. A quite dirty game, in my POV, not very helpful.
There are reports from residents in Sukhumvit and Rama IV looking into the metal grill canal covers in their streets. Water with strong current is flowing there approx. 1 m below the street surface. While it makes sense to use the drainage system to route the water below the city to the pump stations this will massively backfire if it starts to rain!

For those watching Al Jazeerah:
AJ reports that the Chao Phraya river reached record levels today (3.3 m). No idea where this info comes from - but there is NO MAJOR PROBLEM for the CENTRAL DISTRICTS of Bangkok right now coming from the river. For the western parts of the city (other side of the river) - different story.
Good god!
All the good places to find hookers in Bangkok-you want to find those who ply their trade on the side of railroad tracks-what am I missing here?
They are probably about 200-300 a pop. Place to go I guess if you don't have money.
They are probably about 200-300 a pop. There are some real stunners there. Price is fixed at 1500 baht and it is mainly a Thai scene with punters pulling up in their cars.

Jackson, can we please stop all this Flood Reporting crap now.
Back to the world of mongering, a lot of girls have gone home and stayed there, or moved down to Pattaya and Phuket. They are not planning to come back until December as too many tourists have been scared off of Bangkok by the media reports and scare mongering.
In response to the earlier question, I checked 7-11, Family Marts and Tops yesterday and all have bottled water. Bit low on snacks and things (dry food) as everyone has been hoarding and so stocks have run low and the supply chain cannot cope with all the sudden buying, but apart from that all is normal.
