Coyotes, g-clubs and hostess bars send the message to bargirls that men will pay them good money to be teased and emasculated as long as they're made to feel like a big shot and the girl is a bit snotty. There seems to be an assumption amongst some members of the forum that going out to girly clubs where you can't have sex with the girls somehow makes makes you more intelligent and cultured than going out to girly clubs where you can. If there is any logic behind this assumption I would like to hear it. It is quite possible to enjoy sex and not be a caveman, and paying high prices to women who won't have sex with you doesn't necessarily mean you're not a caveman.
GuyRyder in his post said a trip to a g-club was a one in a lifetime experience, better than any he'd had in any other country in the world.
Are any other forum members willing to back him on this?
I monger in China and the Philippines. I have been to expensive secret KTVs in Shenzhen and Guangzhou where there was no point in even writing a field report because its similar to describing color to a blind man. If you do not know about it, you can't go. I had the pleasure of being with Skyrider on this trip and I do not recall the actual name of the place however it had lots of vowels and an M. So something like MAIAKE. The parking lot was filled with expensive cars and we were the only white boys in the place.
You can argue that the girls were expensive. You would be wrong. How much does a lady drink on Soi Cowboy or Nana cost and how quickly do the good looking girls slam them back and ask for another one. Lets see. I was at Baccarat on Cowboy and each lady drink was 250 and the girl kept asking for one every ten minutes. (whether I agreed to buy one or not is another story)
Could you take these girls home? Certainly. I witnessed several people going home with their hands full. Is there a set price or bar fine. Nope. Its up to YOU to make it happen. Similar to are the girls on Soi Cowboy available to take home. Certainly. Does that mean you pay the barfine and she fucks your brains out. NOPE. You still have to discuss price on ST or LT or anal or greek or ladyboy or threesome or whatever else it does that gets you off.
Have I witnessed anything like this club anywhere else before? No. I can safely say I have not. I have been to many places that had lots of beautiful women, (that wouldn't give you the time of day unless you walked in with Brad Pitt. Thats what you get for partying where the real celebs party) I have been to many places where beautiful women are excited about playing with you for money (its called a KTV and its the "normal" style mongering in China). However, most KTV girls have preset prices for short term or long term (I laugh at the locations where this has to be negotiated!). The ones that don't, do not go out. (or follow the same setup this establishment does.)
Anyway, back to this particular night. A lady drink cost 245 baht. This was the "sitting" fee for the girl to sit with you for 45 minutes (or so it was explained to me). So for 5 baht less than the lady drink I bought for the stunner in Baccarat, I had a cute fun girl that could speak perfect english partying with me. I had a hard time choosing because ALL the girls were soo good. If they were here in China with me, I would try most of them! There has not been a place like that ANYWHERE else I have been.
I am not sure if a farang could even buy a membership here as. We were the only farangs in the club that night.
Nowhere did he say that it makes you more intelligent or cultured to go to a club or bar or location where you pay money and do not have sex with the girl. He is just saying there is much more to mongering than finding the cheapest hole to stick your dick into until you cum. If YOU do not think there is, thats fine, however it does not diminish the enjoyment that people can get from whatever it is that makes them happy.
Don't get me wrong, I enjoy the seedy thrill of a dirt cheap fuck in the back of some hovel with a cute girl, but I also enjoy a beauty playing and dancing with me. If all you want is the orgasm, your cheapest provider is always available and directly connected to you.
Sexy girls, booze, party? The G-club sounds good to me, I'll have to splurge there next time I'm in BKK. I'm assuming its best to go with a wingman or group of friends rather than solo, not only to have company with the bros, but to share costs.
Out of curiosity, do they allow entry to African Americans? On my next visit to BKK, I'll be bringing along for a few days a fairly decent looking black dude.
Going solo is possible if you have been before and know whom you are going to book and theres chemistry already, she speaks English or you speak Thai, etc. But generally yeah, groups rule.
Some places have racist policies in place but the places I frequent the most are fine. You can be black, white, Indian. If you found the place and conduct yourself well you won't be refused.

You are right. Mai Ake is a large and very popular club. It has been consistently busy. I have membership there since 2009 and it's my second most favorite G-Club here.
Good choice!
I am not sure if a farang could even buy a membership here as. We were the only farangs in the club that night.
Definitely can. You don't see many there because 1) They mostly don't "get" the concept and 2) It's far away from areas where lots of farang tend to live.
There are similar establishments closer to where farang live and accordingly you will run into more farang when you go there, prices are higher and there's more silicone and English-speaking girls around (For exaple The Pent on Wireless Road, Sherbet and Piano in Ekkamai, St. Moritz in Sukhumvit 11.). Girls tend to be pushier there, too. Asking for cocktails and shit. Then you get the bill which is a collation of hand-written chits in Thai that nobody can reconcile at 2am. I went through 12 bottles at the Pent and never went back after that.
The really "Thai" places in the suburbs that are successful tend to have very customer friendly policies. Places I frequent you get a machine printed, itemized bill that is properly explained to you and girls cannot ask for anything off the menu. They drink your whiskey from your bottle and the mixers are free. That's it. Once we had a service issue and the bill was cut in half. Customer service at it's best!
Mai Ake is a very good choice. If you speak no Thai you are limited to a sales person (and girls) who speak some English which is another barrier to entry for some but no issue if you get referred.
They will be happy to sell you membership. Standard going rate is 10000 baht for 6 bottles of black as the smaller package. On "Party Nights" there's usually a bonus for signups (I. E. An extra bottle).
Value increases in the bigger packages but they tend to have 1 year expiration so you don't want to go overboard.
Another thing (Take it from the guy whose name is CoyoteLover) : Your sales person IS KEY to a good time. If they don't respect you, you will see B-grade girls and get no proper Intel on them. A good sales person will ensure you have a good time.
Rates for girls have a flag-fall to avoid dickheads coming in at 10pm on a Friday night, book the 20 hottest girls and leave just after midnight. It's usually 3 drinks for a coyote and 2 drinks for PR. A drink for your sales person is optional and shouldn't be forced upon you.
On a typical night we rock up at 10pm and have 3 girls and party until 3am. Bill will come to around 9000 baht. But this includes sheesha, top less model shows from external girls, live music, etc.

I like to eat food that is plentiful, cheap and good. I can go to a buffet to stuff my face all I want and I do it often. In LOS I eat on the street. That's my usual style of eating.
I once had a client take me to a very private dinner club. It served one meal a week to 12 people at a time. The food was prepared by a different chef each week. All chefs were culinary artists on the Iron Chef level. This was where they practiced and experimented before competitions. Each course was a work of visual art and had 4-5 bites of the most exquisite flavors you ever put in your mouth. It was served by the chef with full explanation of his techniques and goals. The wine was served and explained by the club owner, a wine merchant, and was perfectly matched to each course. I also travel the world and have certainly enjoyed fine dining, but this totally blew me away.
The price was $450 per person. It was a once in a lifetime experience and by far, the best food I've ever tasted. But I still had to stop at Mc Donalds on the way home to fill my belly.
I hope to get a chance to go to a top level G-club in BKK. It would be an experience that I would enjoy. But I would probably hit the streets near my hotel on the way home to grab a bite and a companion for the rest of the night.
So a big thank you to Sky Ryder and Fon Tok for some insights into the G-clubs. It does sound like a very interesting experience.
I thought that was fair until she took off her clothes! Wow, talk about someone looking hot in clothes and ugly without! I shriveled up like a California raisin in the middle of the Mojave Desert and told her I do not feel comfortable.
The best thing about cowboy bars, is seeing the entire package naked, getting to chat to the girl for a while to check for basic chemistry. Once I have decided she is too hot to resist, for price of 2 or 3 drinks, only then do I need make a decision. If I have doubts, I can call over some other girl to consider. I ignore girls that want to sit next to me uncalled for. I do the choosing as I am paying.
My criteria: pretty face, hot body preferably all natural, not too pushy or demanding or self-centered, friendly, lack of apparent acting, fun loving, good dancer, able to behave when needed. Notice I didn't mention price. The subject of how much rarely arises, probably because I am known at certain bars as fair to generous.
Fair enough. If you are too tired to put in effort this scene is not for you. I recently was out with colleagues who were looking for rub and' tug as picking up in Orchard Towers was too much effort for them. To each his own.
Pita, it really has nothing to do with tired. After 12 years of residency in Thailand and spending time in various different "scenes," I just find most of the gals to be rather uninteresting. They have very little to add in the way of conversation. Most are not very well educated and can talk only about what they "like" or what they "want," which I find, well rather boring for lack of a better term. Now, if I could go into one of these clubs and find a gal that was well read, knew a little more about music than the latest Rhianna hit, had even a slight grasp of current events, and perhaps had read a book or two, then I would enjoy sitting with them and drinking. I have not found that to be the case even in the G-Clubs. As I said in a previous post, I am the customer, last thing want to do is have to romance a working girl. Kind of opposite I think. She is being paid so it should be her that is trying to sell me, not me trying to sell myself to her and then pay.
Kind of like going into Prada and begging to buy a bag.
sorry mate but g-clubs are as much about sex as [CodeWord900] and a nyc strip club. are the reliable sure things? nope. are they part of the same adult entertainment industry as tilac? pretty much. do you need more game to score in a g-club than in annie's? substantially. men go there for the sexual thrill and excitement of these hot women. otherwise they woul be going someplace to play checkers.
so, they are priced above what you'd like to pay for the mileage you will get. fair enough. but to say they aren't part of the core of isg shows that you would be better of with a jar of lotion and some toilet paper.
again, why should i need to have "game" if i am the one paying? i have been to these places and yes, the girls are nice looking, but really, i am still the customer. i was always amazed at the thai guys i saw wh%^*mancing these girls. but, to each his own. i would rather spend that money on a really nice meal and a bottle of wine and then head to mango and get the pipes cleaned! i mean, hey, after i've come a couple of times i can't get away from the gal fast enough. that is when her lacking intellect really shines through.
i view these gals as service providers. i would never consider one for a girlfriend. the mia noi thing is nothing but a headache, and that is what most g-club gals end up being. a thai guy would not take one home to meet mama.
but i do agree with you that discussions of these places do belong on the isg! most certainly. we cater to all tastes and there is room for all opinions and thoughts.

10, 000 for 6 bottles is very reasonable compared to what one can spend in, say, RCA.
Do you party in a big room with lots of people or do you get your private room in those G-clubs?
What do you mean by "sales person"?
I looked at some Mai-ake videos on youtube and I wasn't impressed. It kind of looks like a gogo with a bigger stage and more clubby music. The girls don't look better than Baccara or Rainbow girls (in fact many look worse)... The dancing isn't better either...what gives?

If you are having fun, the girls have fun with you. You are right that they are mostly bored, but that's a good thing. Most clients are boring, if you are not, the girls will love you. They have to be there for 8 hours every day, they are dying to be entertained and have some sanook time.

Pogo
Thank you Pogo for an excellent analogy of your food experience to SkyRyder's experience in a G-Club. I think its great that people share their experiences and SkyRyder's post is the real deal as I was the one that got invited by my customers to go the Maiake and because he and JustSeven was with me at the time when we were in a gogo-bar, I decided to bring them along (my FR on this place will be posted at a later time). Everyone is entitled to their opionion and point of view, beauty is in the eye of the beholder and everyone goes to BKK to have a good time. This forum is to share information and experiences so for the many that do, thank you, and for the few, continue as you like because that is your POV.

Just a correction on point of fact. Lady drinks in Baccara are 150 baht. Some bars do have "cocktails" for "coyotes", but all have normal lady drinks for between 90 baht (some of the small grubby bars) to 150 or so.
At G-Clubs if you've bought a membership a "drink" costs between 180 and 260 or so, and the sitting time varies between 30 minutes and 45 minutes or so. Different price depending on whether you're a member or not, non-member prices aren't really worthwhile.
