How much does the guys with the motoconcho charges for a ride.
I was recently in Boca Chica, because I like semi-pros, and it seems like the kind of place where I could meet girls who were interested in picking up some extra cash, but were not professional prostitutes. I was correct.
My first night, I went to the piano bar on the main drag, and asked a girl at the bar out. This girl was exactly the type that I hunger after in the DR: innocent face, nice clothes (sexy, but not the type that say, fuck me please) , very little excess body fat but nice tits and ass nevertheless, and easy to make smile. She was a waitress at the piano bar on her day off, and she let me buy her a coca cola. When I asked her out, she told me she had to go home first, because her mother was sick, but she would see me later. I picked her up at home at about 5 pm, and took her to my rented apartment, but then she said,"I don't just have sex with men I don't know. I thought you wanted to talk with me and get to know me, not just have sex " and she asked me to take her home. I was surprised, a bit embarrassed, as I thought my intentions were pretty obvious. But I took her home without anymore discussion.
A few hours later, I went back to the Piano Bar with a friend, but at one point I left the bar to go to the bathroom (which is outside and behind the Piano Bar). As I walked to the bathroom, I passed a little clothing store, which I entered, because the girl behind the counter was very pretty. After about 5 minutes, I invited her out. She said she had to work until midnight (it was around 10 pm). I turned to her boss and said,"if I buy her a dress, will you give her the night off?" 1900 pesos later, I had a new girlfriend who was dressed in a stunning tight cotton white dress. She spent the night with me in Santo Domingo. The next morning, I gave her 2000 more for her troubles before sending her back to Boca Chica by bus.
The next day, I called the first girl I had met in the Piano Bar. She told me that if I paid the owner 1500 pesos, she could take the night off work and be with me. This was a surprise to me, as the Piano Bar does not really look like a h*ker bar: most of the waitresses are very pretty, but do not have the appearances of pros and the girl had turned down a chance for sex for money the night before. I told her that I was interested if this meant she would spend the entire night with me. She agreed, and I returned to the bar to pay the bar fine, took the girl out to dinner and then straight to bed. The dynamics of this interaction were, to say the least, quite confusing for me.
I think the Piano Bar might be my favorite place in the DR right now, but I am confused! WOULD ANY OF YOU BOCA CHICA REGULARS EDUCATE ME ABOUT THE PIANO BAR? Are the girls who waitress there ALL working girls? Or, are they non-pros who occasionally like to make some extra cash? If the latter is true, what was the bar fine all about? And, what percentage of the girls who work the Piano Bar are NOT the type to go to go out with a 50-ish year old guy who is clearly interested in sex?
Many thanks, F.
Post-script: I am back in the states, but gave my chica a call last night. She was fired from the piano bar for refusing to have sex with the owner.

If this is the Piano Bar you are talking about then that bar is Puta Central. Any chica in that bar is available. The waitresses are available but they need to get to know you first, like telling them your first and last name.
This is a pic of the Piano Bar I am talking about. The pic is 5 years old and the bar has since removed the gas pump and installed a bar counter in it's place. Boca Chica always gets a bad rap but that is because guys just don't know how to find the "good" chicas in Boca. Guys see boca as seedy with nothing but hard core fuglies which is partially true. A little stroll off the beaten path and some lovelies are available.
Is this the bar?
That is a good report, but you (Forest) do know they have a bathroom in the back of the bar plus also a room to take a chica in not sure how much you have to pay bar? Waitresses if that's what you want to call them seems to me there is more Pro's hanging out there then anything. Bq Ribs is correct there is some hidden gems in Boca Chica you do have to go off the beaten path to find them.
Coca Playa has free wifi on the Beach Chica friendly. Not expensive 50 bucks a night.
Coca Playa has free wifi on the Beach Chica friendly. Not expensive 50 bucks a night.
Is that in room Wi-Fi? Don't be showing them cute Boca Chica chicas because everybody thinks Boca Chica only has fuglies. Let's keep that a secret.
Would you happen to have a web link for Coca Playa?
The hotel link is www.hotelcocaplaya.com
My wifi worked in my room but it might vary by how high in building your in.
Down in breafast-bar area wifi worked well.
It included breakfast too.
...Post-script: I am back in the states, but gave my chica a call last night. She was fired from the piano bar for refusing to have sex with the owner.
So your question is what type of puta is she: hourly, weekly, or Western Union?
A Duarte cocktail waitress is one level above the prostitutes she serves. Unlike their Dominicana customers, they can charge by the hour or play it by ear (Western Union), because 1) they have an income; and 2) they have a solid network of former clients (Boca Chica ex-pats) they can get cash from in an emergency (a human ATM).
If you have any ex-pat friends in Boca Chica, I am sure that they can give you this girl's story. Shit, email me a photo and give me a name and I might be able to tell you her story within a week.
BTW: A woman who "conveniently" loses her job when you leave town, may be looking for a way to squeeze more cash from you. I wouldn't believe her sob story for a moment.

I realized, of course, that my chica might be setting me up for a request for funds, but the truth is that they all are setting me up for a request for funds. I do not want to sound cynical, but that is the expected scenario when a girl realizes that you actually like her.
This one was a bit naive, in my view, despite the appearances (based on my description) otherwise. I was really quite surprised when she made me take her home on our first encounter, because she had not the chance to talk to me first. The other surprising thing was that she wanted to have sex without a condom. In my experience, DR girls who want to fuck without a condom are looking for long term financial gain. I know this is a cynical view, but I have a lot of experience in this arena.
In any case, its good to know that the Piano Bar (same one in the photo- no pump there now) is a source of P4P chicas. I have to say that the selection of available women there is less raunchy, but far prettier, than any of the casas I visited in Boca Chica. Although, I thought the line up a Casa Azul (next to Hotel Mozart) had some real possibilities!
thanks rit teach, i saw costalunga had updated their website but i just didn't believe mario had spent a few bucks to provide in room wifi. it has been almost a year since i have stayed at costalunga. several years ago you could sit in the open hallway area on the 4th floor and pick up a signal. the last time i was there you couldn't get a signal anywhere in the hotel. i got the usual answer, it's not working today. needless to say the pay by the hour computers were working just fine.
i would like to see one of the boca chica hotels offer in room wifi. i would be very glad to pay a few bucks extra a night for free in room wifi. it can be a pain in the butt to have to use the internet cafe all the time.
the boat house has free wifi but that too is a pain as you not need to lug your laptop down to the beach. three things i need in my hotel room, a / c, frig, and wifi. missing any one of these and i will stay elsewhere.
i stayed at the costalunga in early december and they had open wifi on the 4th floor. my room was on the 2nd floor and you could get a weak signal by the stairs but the fourth floor was pretty strong. the speed was slow but acceptable.
the el candil had and encrypted signal that reached to the costalunga so they may also have wifi available.

mario has encrypted the router on the top floor and the one in the office-both sport different i'd's. as i stated before, he physically puts the password on you computer (for the lobby router only). in fact i need him to put it on an external antenna that i have (but he is in italy at the moment)
a few years ago, he (mario) did have a set up that allowed those on the bottom floor (and thru most of the hotel) are to receive wi fi in your room. however, because of the nature of the set up-there was a problem every time the power went out.he had to manually reset the router in the office whenever, there was an outage. people, bitched all the time (when it occurred at night when he was sleeping). so he did away, with the wifi.
last year, you could also hook up to an lan in the office but he did away with that setup last march, when he installed camera's in the office and elsewhere (updated ir camera's). he said people were screwing up the phone lines, by yanking on the cables. (as usual nothing was said, they just removed the cable (and said "go up to the top floor-which did not always work because.some days they unplugged the router.
i've been coming here since they built the place (when the girl manged the place (before mario) and they had an beauty salon and travel agency in place.
currently here jan.april
I used to split my trips between Boca Chica and Santo Domingo up until about two years ago. Whenever I stayed in Boca Costalunga was my choice of hotel. Only thing I didn't like was the walk upstairs to the fourth floor to use the Wi-Fi.
A few years ago not everyone traveled with a laptop. Today that is very different. There have been several times I considered a few nights in Boca Chica but believe it or not the no WI-Fi in the room was the deal breaker. If I knew of any hotel in Boca Chica with in room Wi-Fi they would probably get my business. I have three things a hotel must have for me to stay there, in room Wi-Fi, a frig, and A/C.
There are hotels who charge a few bucks extra if you want A/C so I don't see why Costalunga wouldn't consider charging a few bucks extra a day for in room Wi-Fi. The room rates at Costalunga are very reasonable so a surcharge would be no problem with me. I hate using the call centers and am not too thrilled using computers in the hotel lobby.
I know it doesn't mean much as businesses in rep dom don't seem to care about customer satisfaction but Costalunga has lost a few bucks from me simply becasue they can't get their Wi-Fi act together.

Took a ride from Santo Domingo to Boca Chica today to have lunch at the Boat House. For a Friday there was a nice crowd at the beach. As they say there is always one in the crowd. In the DR topless sunbathing in not a Dominican thing but there will always be at least one foreigner who disrespects that and shows her titties. Sorry no pic of the tits, plus she had some funny looking nipples.
