I didn't say I was defenseless, I said that I was caught by surprise from behind, and off guard. It could happen to anybody. You're lucky it hasn't happened to you.
Oldest trick in the book, no experienced monger would ever fall for this.
Well, I'm an experienced monger and I fell for it. Don't be so cocky; I'm sure similar things have happened to you, but you're just not honest enough to talk about them. I am mentioning these things to try to be helpful to other mongers, just as I appreciate having received such helpful tips myself in the past. So your sarcasm is unwarranted.
When your asleep your defenseless? sounds like you can be when your awake too.
My, you are a cocky bastard, aren't you? That's four--four!--gratuitous digs you've taken at me. What, exactly, is your problem? Taking cheap shots at others is usually a way of covering up for one's own inadequacies. I'd say 'honi soi qui mal y pense,' if I thought you knew what it meant.
BTW, review your English grammar; you should have written 'you're,' not 'your.' 'You're' is a contraction of 'you are,' which is clearly what you meant to say. 'Your' is a possessive adjective and clearly inappropriate in this context. Don't feel bad; it's a common error of the semiliterate.

They have no more street juice than u allow them. They need to support there middle class american consumerism they have grown accustomed.
As far as HELP, those who love it good 4 them. I and others could care less if they place wash hosed (no pun intended) and a church was constructed.
SAL & FULL THROTTLE : I also made those numbers, I guess thats why I'm not in the speculating business.

I'm carrying this water, but the shits heavy.
You also believed that the dollar/real would close at 2.11 at the end of the year. Today it closed at 2.34 and the dollar is on the upswing. how does it feel to believe in things that are not so.
I guess that's the reason I'm not making a fortune in the the prediction market like very other lil finger cock shit face with time to burn.
The aguas on my back.
I've always paid between US$600-700, from LAX. This was great around 2002, when the Real-USD ratio was 4:1. Now I've moved to a small city in the Southeastern US, so I have to pay more now that I no longer live in a major hub. However, the FF miles add up rather quickly. If your schedule is reasonable flexible, just wait until the fares go down, them grab the first low fare you can find; they usually don't last long. The airlines usually post new fares on Wednesday, effective at midnight (although the time zone may vary from airline to airline). So the best time to look for airfares is very early Wednesday morning.
If you haven't already done so, I suggest you go to the websites of each of the major airlines and get on their e-mail list. They will mail you a list of their domestic and international promotional fares, which will often include Rio or Sao Paolo. American is the best, United and Continental so-so, Delta sucks. As far as using FF miles, I never had a problem finding seats as long as I was flexible regarding dates and length of stay. Maybe things have changed.
Keep at it; something will turn up.
Bush is the reason why the dollar needs to rebound in the first place. The G.W. Bush Presidency was an absolute catastrophe for the U.S. We can blame him for alot of things, but for the improved Dollar vs the Real?
D
The truth is that with all the additional spending by Bush's government, the US is sinking deeper and deeper into debt. Right? So therefore, in the longterm, eventually the US will have to raise interest rates to higher levels to compensate for the deficit. Higher interest rates will mean slower economy, but higher dollar value (ie, Brazil right now). Am I right, or am I right? In this regard, George Bush is doing us a favor in the longterm. Who says the US government isn't looking out for its own?
But other than that, Bush is a disaster.
I see a lot of fighting in some of the forums latley and I don't know why. It sounds like bickering women. Let's agree to disagree. Please start talking about pussy and stop acting like it.
Try a website like this http://www.kayak.com
It searches alot of flights that you or a travel agent may not think of. If still no result try late March or April. DEC-MAR is the busiest period for Rio, hence you will get better luck just outside those dates. I am pretty sure you will get something around the USD$600 mark, just need to hunt around a bit.
I see the real is up to about 2.35 and thats good news. I am trying to book a flight with my FFmiles and there isnt shit available anymore. This country is to damn popular now.God damn videos. I checked to see what a ticket would cost me and they are also throught the roof. the dollar is getting better but the airfares are getting more expensive. Im being quoted at least a 1000 for march!! anyone care to go down memory lane and quote what they were paying 2 years ago for airfare compared to now.I remember paying 650.00 with a 3 to 1 exchange rate. now its 1000 with a 2.35 rate.
try this consolidator www.braziliantravel.com/indexx.htm
or this one http://bacctravel.com/
Also as bubba said try going in april might have a better chance with ff miles or lower fares
D said,
"We can blame him for alot of things, but for the improved Dollar vs the Real?"
I was actually only joking. But as you see some of our other members bit the bait and started trying to argue against Bush.
The point is really that it is actually a bit silly to try to blame the Dollars value vs. the Real on the president. But for some reason as a couple of people here just proved, some try to do that!
Personally, I wish people would stick to the purpose of this forum.
And, yes, I brought up the point. But I was only a joking in an attempt to reference last year when we had a lot of problems with people using the forum as a place for political debates.
TJ
I am with you on that, bunda, bunda, bunda, that is why I read the forum. If I want news I go to Reuters, or CNN.
I will refrain from making political commentary in the pussy section.
D.
The non-pussy related topics are certainly worth discussing, but probably not in this thread. I have always assumed that was what the General Info thread was for.
Lorenzo
There are quite a few non-Americans on this board too and I have to say that the Bush- dollar- and American politics- discussions are quite frankly just a waste of space on this particular forum to us.
