LAFUN2, Glad to hear you enjoyed your visit to Green Star
Yea, those people start out at an incredible asking price.
If you had your own place, most probably you could arrange for the girl to keep in touch. (Most of them have mobiles) and you would be paying maybe no more than 1000 to l500 at your own place.
Myself I dont partake of that stock, as heaven only knows how many times they turn a trick each day. I am more into not so professional ones, and there are quite a few, believe me, but for that one has to have their own pad, and develop some sort of a friendly relationship, where sometimes I help them out even when not getting anything in return, and sometimes offering lunch, dinner etc, break the ice and they will do anything for you.
If you are in Dhaka long term, why dont you have your own place? If and when you do, I will connect you to many nice ones who are real friendly.
In the meantime, happy mongering.

In Dhaka for the Cricket...
Hi all,
New to this forum, well as far as posting goes anyway, have been reading it for a while.
I am in Dhaka from the 9th to the 11th April to go watch some Cricket. I am travelling alone and am not very familiar with Dhaka.
I did get some action there about 6 years ago but the rooms were very grubby and it seemed pretty dangerous the whole time.
If any of you guys want to hang out or even just go watch the cricket let me know.
The Stadium is in Naranganj, can anyone recommend a decent place to stay? Most of the better hotels seem to be in Central Dhaka or Gulshan.
Thanks in advance for your help.
now thats very cricket of you

Narayangang, wow, i messed around there when I visited way back when. To me it was too grubby and not too cricket.
If you are in the gulshan area, wanna have a beer, send me a pm. plus I can hook you up if you are not a cheap charlie and have your own pad.
Adios

Back in the UK without a taste from Dhaka
I guess I was a little unlucky in Dhaka, the main problem was the traffic, it was pretty late by the time I got back from Naranganj after the Cricket.
Anyway, the second night I stayed in the Asia Pacific Blossom (on Park Road) which is in Baridhara and I thought it was near the Green start from the address.
Anyway, went for a walk to look for the guest house but the numbers didn't seem to go high enough. Then I started gettting pestered by Rikshaw drivers that could sense I was after something. I told them to go away but they kept telling me they could find me some action, didn't trust them so I walked back to the hotel.
Left Dhaka on the 11th April and came back and stayed in a Hotel in Gulshan 1. This time I had my parents with me so I didn't have a chance to go looking, besides it took me all day to get back from Dhaka on the 14th anyway due to the New Year celebrations.
Hopefully I'll have better luck next time. Thanks for trying guys!
