I'll have a look at the FAQ; perhaps all will become clear.

ES[/QUOTE]Your post didn't answer my question. I didn't know what "PM" was. I've since checked the FAQ, and found it means "personal messaging".
But thanks for your post anyway; I'll take it in the helpful spirit that it was no doubt intended.
I'm a little perplexed. I've read back through your posts and you write well. You sound like someone who appreciates the action in China. And I just tried again to send you a PM. This is a public forum accessible to anyone. Pay the man his 20 bucks.

Was at both Golden Garden and the old Peacock massage in Tietu Lu over the last two days. So far no impact due to 'April 1'. Have the saunas changed or closed down?

I'm at the VUE on Huama Road in Pudong. Definitely seems like no action in this area. Maybe I picked the wrong hotel but in need some. I don't even know if this is girl friendly.
Can anybody help me. Is there anything near by or where I can pick up some girls in this area. Or where I can ask the taxi to take me to find some fun.
Anything will help.
Thanks alot guys
With all the Crack-downs does anyone know if my favorite "Pub" is still in operation?
Actually, I was talking with the owner a year or so ago (the last time I was in Shanghai) and he mentioned he was going to open a new place (with KTV, I guess) but never got back to town to find out.
I've RTF'd but didn't see mention of this establishment in the last little while (which is normal since it isn't really brought up too much) but thought I would check. I'm heading in to town next week and thought I would see if it is still around.
Thanks in advance.

Are you referring to the Hailang at Zongshan Road West - under the elevated road?
Tried to call last week, but nobody answered. Not sure what it means though. . . .

Hi friends,
Thank you very much for your precious infos about shanghai!
(I will be spending 2 months there in June and July)
A- which is the best area to take a apt (for our hobby of course!)
B- you never speak about street action, local brothels, bottom-end redlight districts.
I can't believe there is no such action in shanghai! Is it maybe too dangerous for foreigners?
Thanks and keep enjoying!

There is this big think called expo coming up and if you read here you will discover that most of the activities will be or are already cracked down. What is left is better left unsaid publicly or it will also cracked down. See Beijing 2008. Best place for an apt is as far away from the Expo site as possible, also price wise. But that is no guarantee for action, I stay away from Shanghai now as much as I can, so very, very bad timing my friend
