Remind Jackson
Imageshack is iffy. It goes down a lot. But here it is again, just incase it was removed.

I've been wanting to add the link on my signature but this forum doesn't allow signatures. I'm still waiting for the admin's response in making my own forum/thread dedicated for hosting my map. That was some time ago so I guess I should stop waiting. :(
Jackson he is a busy man. This map is gold for the newbie. My first trip to TJ in 2000, I tripped over the zona. Total luck. My mongering instincts let me know I hit pay dirt. I drove around because this site was not known to me. It was stupid to drive across.
I walked many a blocks also to see what was around. Your map gives the newbie all he needs to know and be safe. I know myself I do not travel outside the map anymore. Hopefully you can compress and post it permanently.

I was in Tijuana the other day and rofl I saw some guys rough up some dude and throw him in the back of this van. It wasnt that close to the zona but not that far either was like something in a movie.

Maps
Gentlemen or lady's I was looking at the map submitted very accurate in detail, I just want to add that at Camino de la plaza and virginia street just up form the parking lot. You want to pass this Intersection go about a 1/4 mi. you will see a stand alone ATM on the northside of street in the parking lot for the various stores there. I have used this machine when I get to TJ and after when the cash is low. Hope this helps.
I hope this still there been about a year or so.

Heh, thanks for the thumbs up.
But the map needs updating. I still plan to update it but have to wait until I go again. Which will be soon. I know, I've been claiming on going back for the longest time but this time for sure. Promise :]
Although, you guys don't know realize how much of my own time I spent making the map and the time spent in TJ scouting all the areas by foot. But as long as people appreciate all the effort I've put into it then it makes all the hard work worth it. So thanks guys! Updating the map doesn't end there. I plan to make a new even more detailed map. I got started on it some while back but need to return to Tj to get the info needed to complete it. But all in due time.
BTW I believe Vivamex has moved. Anyone know the new location?

It's still on the same block and on the same side of the street, just closer to 4th.

Some of the staff are at a new place with really CHEAP prices as you walk in from the bridge right after crossing the street before you reach Revolution. On the right side before the taco place. $15 45 min. I believe.

Maps
Efjayel you crack me up, what an excuse to go to TJ, so that you can update you map(Ha Ha), on second thought I guess every time you need to update which could be once a week or twice or three, hell not a bad Idea.
Anyway all kidding aside I do understand as probably others do what a time consuming project this is thanks. Although I am pretty familiar with most spots a refresher course never hurts.
Thanks again
to one and all happy hunting

Okay, I'll check it out. Anything else on my map that has changed and needs updating?
Please do not raise the price for the rest of us. The cum boys get a $1 tip not $5.
Yep, I would easily hand over a 5'ver to the cum swabber as well had I not been told. What a disgusting job, but they seem to be pleased with the $1 I give them. At minimum, 3 people will tell me to tip the swabber as I leave the room.
I remember the first time I went to Adelita's, I had read thorough information off of another site and the $1 had been emphasized. When I left, just like clockwork, there was the cum swabber. I was ready with a dollar in hand. I thought that was the funniest thing on my whole first trip.
I found the zona after the local Fox station in LA did an undercover report on the rampant prostitution south of the border. I could not find my car keys fast enough. Gracias Fox 11 Los Angeles!

Adelitas vs. HK
Ok gents, planning a trip out toward end of Sept. Anyway, having only been to AB, thought I would venture to someplace different and hear talk that HK Club is pretty good. I am not sure exactly where it is, though I see on the map it is near AB. I can see Chicago Club from AB but little else. I prefer to taxi it right to AB and not venture too far.
So, for those of you that have gone to both, thoughts?
Thanks!

Minor stuff. Hard Rock is gone. Caesar's is misspelled.
If there's room, you could add Las Chubbies, Botana, Rio Rosa

Efjayel map updates
It's important to know that the exit from the Zona to the border along the Ave Internacional is CLOSED because they are re-building the road. Knowing how things work in Mexico, it should be down for several months. Take Benito Juarez instead.
Anyone who drives across would, I am sure, already know that.
I can only imagine what this is doing to morning corss border traffic.
On another note, MAJOR KUDOS to the city of TJ for completing the Southbound stretch of the Via Rapida to La Presa. It's fresh new concrete and even has those flashing LED bumps along the way to help the drunks stay in their lane. All they need to do now is complete the on/off ramps and it will be totally done.
Added to all this is the cleaning and planting and the landscape work going on. Major changes taking place. Very nice to see.

Thanks!
It is safe to walk around the block. Around the block is most of the alley girls. If you stay in the zona you will be safe. I think, around the block is the safest area. When in a crowd you are safe but walking areas with few/no people could be a problem. Chances of being mugged around the alley girls is slim to none. Venture around the block you will love it.
