Is LA Cafe now closed or not?
Thanks guys.
I am planning my first trip to The Philipines and have RTFF.
Prices are generally quoted as one or two thousand but no mention is made of duration. Are these for LT (and all up - barfine, tip and taxi..)??
Many thanks.

Check the most recent post in Travel Plans and Announcements. Good tidings.
I plan to be there soon. Or the G-point sounds like a good alternative.
Is LA Cafe now closed or not?
Thanks guys.
Why LA should be closed?
I just arrived back home last week from 5 nights in the playground of my dreams.
I mixed it up this time, spending the first night in Manila with a spinner from LA Cafe. The next night I enjoyed the company of an old flame who is waiting for her visa to the US. Then off to a few nights in Angeles. I have been promising myself that I would someday take the time to visit the Massage / KTV by the airport. The infamous Air Force One.
I have poked around many places in PI (no pun intended) and I have to tell you, this place exceeded my expectations.
To get there, I took a taxi from the Hyatt in Ermita. You follow the route exactly to NAIA International Terminal, but instead of turning into the airport parking lot at the last signal, you go straight ahead for about 1 1/2 or 2 miles. On the right side of the road you will eventually come to the City Mall Building, and Air Force One entrance is on the far side of the building toward the rear.
I have always wanted to find a place close to the airport to hang out and perhaps cause some damage before my late night flights departures. My visit to AF1 was on a recent Friday evening about 7:30pm. When I got out of the taxi, I was met by 2-3 doormen who assisted me with my bags, gave me a claim slip and secured my bags in a locked closed in the lobby.
This lobby of this place looked like a relatively nice hotel. I told them I had never been there before so they gave me instructions to take the elevator up to the second floor. Off I go, and I am met in the upstairs lobby by 2 beautiful girls dressed in sexy dresses. They pointed out the highlights that I could see from the upstairs lobby desk. Straight in front of me down a short hallway was the entrance to the KTV. It wasn't open yet. I think they said it opens up at 8:30pm.
Don't hold me to the accuracy here, my attention to details was somewhat limited by the eye candy before me. If you stay at a table, then you pay 500p consumable. If you want a dancer or model to sit with you then you pay from 900p.1000p per hour for her company, drinks and food are extra.
If you want the VIP rooom in the KTV it is 3000p consumable, girls are the same rate as the open table area. Food and drinks extra.
From previous posts, I heard that the girls can be taken out. Maybe someone else can comment on this.
Now for the good part. I'm not a KTV kind of guy, but a massage before my 11 hours in the air sounded good, and if I could get it up one more time, why not?
There are three classes of service / rooms in the massage area, Flight 168 is the name of this area I believe. Upstairs is a fishbowl (glassed in viewing room) that you can view and select your girl (s) from. I was told that the girls can only see the eyes of the guys looking into the viewing room. So you don't have wear your tuxedo.
So anyway, I am totally shocked! I have seen beautiful girls on the street, in the hotels, in Angeles City, LA Cafe, P Burgos Area (Flamingo Club. Yum yum), EDSA, Airport Complex, you name it, but I have never seen so many BEAUTIFUL girls all in one place like I did here. And this was in Coach Class! And First Class rooms and Business Class rooms are down the escalator in their own section of the building. In my opinion, the girls available in this fish bowl were no better / no worse than the girls in Economy Class. I am told that you can take a girl from either viewing room and take them to the room of your choice as long as you pay the correct room rate. The girl from the Economy viewing room would be 1500p and if you took one from Business you pay 2500p or 3500p depending. I am not 100% sure on this arrangement, but just check with your steward in the viewing area. He is non judgemental and is really there to help you have a good time.
You see, Flight 168 has 3 classes of service. This applies mainly to the rooms that are available for you to enjoy yourself. I looked at all 3 classes and there is a difference! Economy Class rooms are about 10 x 14' with a relatively small shower on the side. Cost is 1500p for 90 minutes for the room and 1500p for the girl from the economy class viewing room.
For all classes of service, you pay for the room before, and then pay the girl the room rate for "sextras". I understand that this rate for the girls is negotiable, but I just paid the going rate.
The Business Class rooms are sweet, about 500 square feet with a jacuzzi tub, nice BIG shower, big king size bed. Plent of room for mixing it up with more than one guest. Cost for Business Class is 2500p for the room (90 minutes) and same for the girl.
The First Class Rooms are immense. Maybe 800-900 square feet. HUGE bed, couch and seating area. Everthing you can imagine is here in this room. Cost for First Class is 3500p for the room (90 minutes) and the same for the girl.
I went the lowest cost way on this trip because I wasn't sure if junior could perform anymore after 6 days of. Well, you know!
The girl was gorgeous, the massage was not so great. Here are some helpful hints: If the girl only has a number on her tag, then she is experienced. If she has a letter / number combination then she is new to the business. It's always a roll of the dice here guys.
The girl I was with was happy to give me her cell phone number (anxious really) and wants to get together outside of the business next time I am in town. Maybe some of you mongers who have experience in this area could shed some light on this. She did mention that if she didn't show up for work, then she was fined 500p for the day. Maybe this is like a bar fine?
So, no bola boys. I get around and these girls are stunning (at least on this Friday night! ).
I'm going to start my next 5 day trip at this place and see what is available. Until then, I will just have to be content to dream about this Philipina/Castilian mix with the pure black eyes and hair to match.
Oh my god, save me from PPD.

I can tell you for sure LA Cafe is open as of October 1, 2007. I was there.

Great report makes me want to try same next time I am in Manila sounds fun and easy going on the wallet (well for me anyways).
Re the mobile and fine. What she says about fines is likely true. In Makati I was told it was 7000 pesos (2 bar fines) if the girl is seen with a bar customer etc.
So I went into bars and got a few mobile numbers also or was carefully given or after barfining the lady then get teh number.
So now when I come back to Manila I have choices. I have numbers of bar gilrs or CB or ACM girls (see my earlier FR) or I can go bar to find new ones :)
Stopped at Best Western, La Corona in Manila towards the end of September, very good location, the hotel is clean and GF, no issues at all at US$50 a night.
Arrived on a Monday evening and my first point of call was Amazonia. The waitresses wear a rather nice schoolgirl uniform, unfortunately they were not on the menu. There were a number of freelancers, but the quality was very, very low, possibly because it was a Monday. One girl (actually it would have been a while since she could have truthfully been described as a girl) with teeth missing offered herself and not being that desperate or drunk I quickly declined. Finished by drink and set off for the EDSA complex. I have very limited experience in Manila and was not sure where EDSA was to tell the truth, it was only through the information in this forum I knew it existed. Therefore, it was with a certain amount of trepidation that I flagged a cab and tried to convey an air of confidence that I knew were I was going. The taxi driver repeatedly asked if I had been to EDSA before and questioned if I would not prefer to visit a place called East Asia. If this happens to you just be firm, "if you do not want to take me, stop and I will find a cab that will…etc". The EDSA Complex is a building with about six a-go-go bars, it is across the road and slightly to the right from the Heritage Hotel.
First up was the Cotton club - did not like the lay out. There was around 40 girls not much took my fancy. Downed the SMG and wondered over to Bullets and Arrows, much better IMHO 60+ BGs – and some very good looking. Price was 1000 bar fine and 2500 to the girl. Seemed they were operating a fixed price policy with no flexibility. Took a cracker – Jeannie 19YO. Great girl to chat to, truly beautiful, however like statue in bed...........what a disappointment.
Next afternoon around 5pm I wandered into Hussy, located between La Corona and LA café on Del Pilar, same side of the road as LA Café. It is a small bar, on the dingy side and had 8/10 girls. My intention was to visit LA café later but a 23 YO caught my eye, 6/7 in looks and at p1500 (BF500/BG1000) for LT was a bargain I could not refuse. Besides if the experience turned about to be as bad as the previous night I could dump her and go hunting again. I was not disappointed and spent a great evening and night, not only was she good but GFE as well.
Later called into a bar called Butterfly, very cheap beer, 45 for SMG but very quiet. Also called in at G Stop, 10/12 working girls who would have been a little elderly for me if I was in the market and none that I could call good looking but food was ok!
Next morning I was off to Sabang, Puerto Galera, and a report will follow in a day or so.
Hello fellow mongers.
I have an inexperienced friend visiting Manila soon. I have suggested he go to Rascals, in P Burgos St.
Can anyone tell me the current rates for barfine LT, and what would be a reasonable rate to pay the girl?

The Burgos area is more talked about in the Makati section than here. There was a recent discussion on bar fines. Tip rates seem to be all over the place.
Wrapping up eight days in Manila (FR to follow), but I was wondering if anyone heard what I did this week.
I took 4 girls from the Cafe and 3 of 4 when asked if I could take pictures, said promise me that you will not put them on the internet. I asked one what do you mean and she told me that her friends were nursing students and that they search the internet and tell girls when they see their pictures posted.
Also, I have to been to Amazonia a few times in the past and never paid for lady drinks. Last night I stopped by and brought a FL a drink and when I signed the ticket I asked why was her drink 250P and was told that was the going rate. Later I asked the FL and she told me that she makes 50P per drink. That shocked me, so I paid my bill and went to the Cafe.

I heard from a good girl I have taken out few times that LA cafe was in trouble because the Police caught some minor girls there with cahout with the mamasans they used to have. So the owners were told to get rid of all the mamasans there. Before the mamasans were not encouraged but tolerated by the establishment. Now there are no more mamasans to worry about. When the mamasans were there they used to have most of the good looking yong women under their wings mostly catering to Koreans.
there is no trouble now for the LA cafe owners so it is unlikely they will close.

Did you somehow think that the Internet was going to remain our secret? That we could take pictures and post them to our content? The word gets around about pictures on the net and some girls do care about that. Anyone with a clue about how they are should know that some of them care deeply about being exposed. Loss of face and all that goes with it. So be cool and honor their request for discretion if they make it.
So be cool and honor their request for discretion if they make it.
I always honor their request, but I think you misunderstood what I posted. I would never dishonor a girl. I just asked if anyone had heard that. I have been living here for 6 months and I have been to the Cafe 50 times and I have never been asked that before, but this time, 3 of 4 asked me. That just seemed strange to me so that is why I asked the question.
If you read my past post (Guam) some dumbass took my TR of a bar that I got FS in, to the bar and showed the girl. She freaked out.

Are you shocked because she makes too much or too little out of the drink?
