Not too much providers at Pig tonight
Tonight I visited the Pig. Very few WGs there, perhaps because the raid last night at Maggies. A girl did approach me, but her face was far from satisfactory. At 9:30pm I have to leave, because my hotel does not allow late guests. It's a pity that I could not identify the famous Sammy_T, for there are lots of gentleman there.
Returning to my room, with a rather disappointed DiDi :-)
Yanjiao is not in Beijing, so the cab fare is higher...
Yanjiao is not in Beijing, so it's even further than 5th ring road. Yanjiao is at the border between Beijing and Hebei Province (河北省). So the cab fare will be higher. Rumors are the "6th ring road" is under planning to reach Yanjiao and also planning to extend Beijing to absorb Yanjiao, but these rumors are not confirmed by the government. These rumors are from the real estate developers who want to sell their properties in Yanjiao.
[QUOTE=Mock A Bee]Actually, for reference, I took a cab from worker's
stadium to the airport express road, to just past the 5th ring road where the Western Academy of Beijing is located. It was surprisingly cheap at only 36rmb, plus the 10rmb toll. So in general terms, it may be around 50-70rmb to lurk for places out there depending on how lost you get.

How about going to Yanjiao together to share the cab fare
Hi Gaoshou, Pier20, Phil1980, Mock A Bee,
Since we are getting more people interested in Yanjiao, how about we go there together in a cab to share the fare? Or I may ask my local Beijing friend to drive us there, as it's my friend who took me to Yanjiao for 2 times.
I just visited Yanjiao yesterday with my local Beijing friend driving, and it was my 2nd time visiting Yanjiao. My local friend told me this place is safe and he knows one of the managers very well. The FS rate is 150RMB for ST and 300RMB for LT (but the rooms are also not as clean as hotel rooms, you probably do not want to stay a night there, probably a whole afternoon style LT is an option.) No menu / ice & fire stuffs though. And there are so many customers. The 1st time we went there was a Friday night in Sep 2007, and there are so many customers with less girls. This time we arrived at 1PM on Friday, and still there are a lot of cars parked outside the sauna.
This place is at the south side of the road, so probably not the same place that Pier20 wrote, but I am also interested to explore other places in Yanjiao, even KTV there sounds very interesting. I will PM you guys to discuss about this.
Cheers,
Taiwan Guy
[QUOTE=Pier20]Gaoshou, I have been to Yanjiao (燕郊 ), here are my comments on the place:
3) You will find many saunas on both sides of the main road (洗溶 ) of Yanjiao: you want to go where locals go, be prepared to experience local hygiene too ;-). If you already think Beijing saunas are not so clean, you’d better forget those, or at least directly go upstairs without going to the shower area…
I have tried 2, both on the north side of the road. The first one was a small “family business” from Dongbei, nice people but girls were not young. Found a 25yo girl from the south who had to close her shop and find other ways to make money. FS for 160, good attitude but no extra, GFE or others. You can get the whole menu fire and ice, etc for 300.
The second one was as clean as the first one (!) but much more impressive in terms of choice. Arriving upstairs to the common rest room, you will find yourself in the middle of dozens of girls sitting on line-up sofas, walking around, trying to sell their charms to customers. I’ve never seen something similar in Beijing area (I mean this quantity and density), it makes me think of some KTV in south China. Paid FS 160 for a big rack girl, menu was 320. Take your time to chose, there are not only young and pretty girls there… This place is quite easy to find: arriving from Beijing, it is about 100m from the end of Jingha expressway, north-east corner of a small crossroad. You can find the red 洗溶 sign on the side of the main road, but the sauna is located behind the first line of building along the road.
