Hello Mr. Hog! I wondered if that 3 masted sailboat that you mentioned is still available-I'm located over on Mactan island 6 or 7 months every year, & would be interested in knowing more about it. Thanks-any contact information would be appreciated.
I already have a smaller boat, which is not in the water now due to an engine swap.
Thanks,
Don

Spam,
Thanks for your reply-I think I need to be a paid member to use the PM system even to recieve messages , or else I am too dumb to figure out how to set it up. I have been meaning to pay up, so this will make me get off my ass.
I am over in Maribago, & have been refitting a 50 foot motorsailer for the last year or so (motor swap paint, etc). It was built 17 years ago by an American boatbuilder up in Carmen.
I'm on my way to Camotes tonight for a week or so, so no internet for awhile.
I always enjoy your posts.
Thanks,
Don

Okay Dan, the sail boat is a 40ft LOA, it is up in Carmen right now, you probably know the marina. Belonged to an Aussie who built it and sailed her
to Phils and all over SEA. Guy died, this is all his widow has left. I have photocopies of all the papers, Aussie registered and rebuilt, refitted a few years back, if you go up to the marina you can see it and probably get the widows cell number which may or may not be inservice (She is broke). Or you can try PMing me with your regular email so we can communicate direct. The widow is hard to get ahold of, friend of my wife.

Thanks again Mr. Spam, for your reply- I'm back in Mactan for a few days- Shopping & etc- things are getting hectic as I'm going back to California at the end of April.
Yes, I know that Marina-I will go visit if I have time- The American guy who built my boat has his "boatshop philippines" there at the north end of the bay. He's been building boats in the philippines for 20 years.
As I don't think my boat will be in the water before I go, I bought a 60 foot pump boat last week. Twin engines. As you probably know they use Japanese surplus diesel truck engines in these rigs- so it's nice to have two, just in case one breaks down.
I hope to go back to Camotes on Monday or Tuesday- Regards, Don

Yella Man, have you used this service? Are you vouching for the quality?
We appreciate the link, but you should also tell us your connection -- if any.
From looking at the website, I'm not impressed. He's offerring a professional service, yet he decorates his site with pictures of mostly bar girls. I didn't look at all the pages, but there appears to be no fixed address, no examples of successful investigations, no price list, etc.

Thank you.[/QUOTE]Dr Bonifacio (my spelling may be off).
On Fields Avenue, close to the bar area, is a furniture store called ARC (again, my spelling may be off). The furniture store sell rattan furniture and is on the corner of Fields and another street.
On this other street, as you walk away from Fields Ave, you will see Dr Bonifacio's office on the left hand side. It is (as I recall) on the same side of the street as the furniture store. It is (as I recall) on the same block as the furniture store.
