I've asked many other bar girls and they all had similar stories but apparently none of them started on the street. Maybe the street girls preffer the street or maybe they are stuck there cause their pimps(the ones that have them) don't want to share their profits with the bars and decide to keep them on the street.
There is definitely a class system with regard to sex workers, not just in Mexico, but everywhere. One only need to look at the high-class $2000+ night escorts in the US all the way down to the crack addicted streetwalker that will blow you for $10.00
The bar girls I've asked in Mexico in the zonas are all exclusively bar girls and none started out at the street girl (or in the boystowns of Nuevo Laredo or Reynosa, door girls). A bar girl starts out a bar girl and will either exit the game when she's lost her looks or will rarely resort to the street. These girls have a price in their mind of their session worth and will not lower it (this is why girls aren't having 2x1 sales in a rough economy). The bar girls see themselves as servidoras and the street girls as putas. Even though to many of the customers -- and society in general -- do not see the difference.
In addition to the street girls that may have a pimp or boyfriend controlling them, many of them actually lack the self esteem to think they can get bar girl prices. Some don't know any better.
In most of my non-scientific interviews with service providers I've found many enter the game after hearing from their friends or cousins about the money to be had. Since most of these girls are poor and single mothers it is easy to trade off the sin of prostitution with money for her kid, nice clothes and men who tell them they're pretty.
I was in the Nuevo Laredo Boystown Thursday night and it was dead. I ran into two girls I've seen over the years I've never sessioned with since they are a little too old and fea for me. But we sat at a taco stand about how dead it was and one asked if other cities are better for their trade. I told them about the high prices girls in the beach towns can get and about the Zona Norte of TJ where bar girls made less (or about the same, depending on the quality of the girl/club) as the NLBT girls but there was a much larger supply of customers.
On some of my trips I've run into favoritas from Nuevo Laredo working in AB, HK and CC. Most came because they heard from friends about how there's more business in TJ than the other border towns. One ATF favorita I ran into at CC would work there and at AB when she'd come to TJ for a month a few time a year to get more money in the bank (she also had a sugar daddy that would fly her to beach weekends, a few years ago she had another sugar daddy that lived in San Diego that rented an apartment for her in TJ) When I saw her last she said preferred CC because it was more laid back and like some of the bars in NL but the money was better at AB. She also knew her competition and that she could make more money as one of the hotties in CC or the NL bars than as a second tier girl at AB. As she gets older she knows she's only got limited time left before she retires.

10 years ago the line between bar girls and street girls (not walkers) in TJ was more clearly defined. Over the years I know of at least 3 dozen former street girls working in Adelitas and another 2 dozen moving over to Chicago Club.
Some remained in the bars, others returned to the streets after dealing with too many back stabbing gossipy bar chicas, drunken guys reeking of ash tray breath, etc.
Lately I get as much GFE from street girls for 200 pesos as I did from bar girls for 500 pesos.
Viva street girls!!!

All the SW, that I've gone with, in TJ, are dolls. They are very friendly and sweet. I've never had a troubled one. I could definetly develop a relationship with almost any of them. All SW I go with are beautiful, with great bodies. I wish I spoke decent Spanish.
TJ club girls are very nice and sexy too and give you little kisses and stuff, but SW are best for FS and GFE, in my opinion.
As to the Professor, I couldn't care less about the ZN hierarchy. But it is interesting that gays go to TJ beach for their fun. A must for me to avoid. She obviously put a lot of effort into that report.
TJ is a great scene. I don't know why SoCal guys risk getting busted, by cops, picking up SW in their cars. Costing them thousands of $ for lawyers and getting their cars back. Or get ripped off in the bs clubs and massage joints. When they can easily go to TJ for the real thing.

Bar Girls

Viva street girls!!!
Some bar girls are asking as much as 800 pesos now!
I prefer to have 2-3 paraditas and use the clubs for rest/refresh and entertainment in between sessions.
If I find a paraditas I really like, I can just double the time or take her to my hotel for TLN and I am still ahead of the game ( pops per dollar).

Para/Pared
One question I have, being the pedantic nitwit I am. Maybe a native Spanish speaker can assist.
The word paradita is used a lot. However, I thought I heard a taxi drive use "paredita" with me on a few occasions. Now "pared" makes more sense to me, being Spanish for wall, and the girls ceratinly stand against the wall.
So, which is correct: Paradita or Paredita?

I have to say that I have had a totally different experience with street girls, compared to chicks from Adelitas. I have had some good experiences with street girls but their not as consistent as the one's in Adelitas and the sexiness factor is miles away in comparison. As far as performance I have had good session with street girls, but rarely anything to brag about, and as far as the 200 peso price it doesn't come with fully nude or multiple position sometimes even no BJ. If your going on the cheap and just need to get your jolly's off than you can't beat the price, if sexiness and a good performance is what your looking for than your best bet (not your only) is to go to Adelitas.

When I first looked the word up (after HorneyTraveler posted it), I found a picture of a worker that said "Paradita-standing girl" so I thought of it as a reference to the chicas.

Two different words.
Pared means wall got nothing to do with paraditas.
Paraditas is standing up, alley girls are standing against a wall, even standing against a tree or a car is the same they are paraditas.
Paredita is incorrect.
Now send me that check for the translation fees!
Some bar girls are asking as much as 800 pesos now!
Don't pay it always negotiate down to $60 , if we pay 800 now it will go up to
1000 pesos later.

Quantity vs quality?
I always worry about paraditas because I think they more likely to catch STDs from been with too many customers daily.
I've never had a paradita taking a quick shower just wipe and go.
No offense but they're more likely to screw some drug addict for U$15
I've seen a few filthy guys making a deal with the paraditas and honestly I have never seen one in the clubs with the exception of some PERVERTS! :D

Lol
Don't pay it always negotiate down to $60 , if we pay 800 now it will go up to 1000 pesos later.
I would pay 800 pesos before I paid $60 USD.
Now you have me back to economics.
800 pesos is slightly less than $60 USD.
A few years ago the club price was either 500-600 pesos or $50-$60 USD.
Since the exchange rate has changed, they still ask for the same USD but want 650 -800 pesos!
Uninformed people have already gave them a raise by using USD (never pay more then $50 USD, slightly more than 660 pesos now).
Their equalization of $15 USD !
Now when the exchange rates drop, these same people will complain because the clubs will raise the rate so they can maintain the income they are used to having.
This is why I push the pesos.
I am not cheap I am somewhat informed.
I am trying to help others.
Blend to host country's economics do not force yours on them.

Actually, the drug addicts only have to pay 150 pesos ($11.25 USD) because they are locals.
Us "Foreigners"/tourist are always charged more including the taco stands.
That is why I have a paradita pay for things. ;)
I am not filthy!
After each session I wash and then dry Mr.Happy.
I pull the pillow cases off, then dry him on the pillow, then put the pillow case back on. You never know who had their head on that cover.:D
Those virgins you do in the clubs ,are just as likely to have something from a guy who spends more money.
Money does not mean disease free.

Thanx
Thanks, gents.
I'll turn up my hearing aid!!
What you guys say makes perfect sense now. Spanish idioms really throw me sometimes.

Now streetwalkers are the addict specials and as far as hygiene goes
I do not deal with them at all.
I have been offered $5 and $10 specials from sw but, not on my life would I have sex with one.

OK you win!
You got me lost with numbers again lol!
I thought $800 pesos were $70 USD
I never use pesos I don't see the difference the girls will charge you the equal
to the dollar so is the same thing for me.
Actually, the drug addicts only have to pay 150 pesos ($11.25 USD) because they are locals.
Your kidding right?
Drug addicts are really doing the alley girls?
Needle users can share Stds with the girls, yeah the club girls also are at risk but I think they are better control by the clubs because they have to show the health card every time they start their shift on the other hand no one controls the paraditas so the risk for STDs is greater I think?

Maybe so but I feel more comfortable with a clean bar girl.
Some paraditas never shower when working, and they do you for a buck that
to me is disgusting!
