Other clubs provide better bang for buck!
You paint a very good picture of the current state of things at Globe.
Globe had been experiencing a decline in clients in recent years. Now Covid-19 would be keeping more away, especially the older (and wealthier?) ones who go for the long bookings. Throw in summer which seems to be the quietest period of the year.
The current absence of overseas visitors can't be helping either. One big difference I notice between ISG and the club's 6profi forum is that here on ISG the Zurich reports are mainly about Globe, whereas the local forum users who report on Globe also visit many other clubs like Blue-Up, Plan-B, Olympus, Elegant, Freubad, etc.
Makes me think we visitors go off reports here and the convenient Globe location to keep going there. We haven't got the time to hunt for diamonds in the rough. But locals with a car and more time can roam much wider.
And, most of these clubs are cheaper than Globe, and look to offer better facilities. Must end up diluting the market, and hurting Globe. Everyone always says Globe can't be beaten for service levels, but once you find a gem at a lesser rate at one of these clubs, it likely becomes your go-to club and Globe then becomes an occasional venue for a bit of variety, and to check out any newbies.
This is exactly what I have been doing since the reopening. I live in Zug and because I am working from home it is a real pain in the ass to drive to Globe from Zug. Instead I have been visiting Club Swiss and I have to say I get the same quality of service as I get in Globe and I have never not found at least 3 or 4 girls that I find attractive. The club has decent facilities but lacks a restaurant (which I don't care about anyway) and for CHF 65 entry and CHF 89/30 minutes it is a much cheaper option. I can't see myself going back to Globe unless the lineup was significantly better than what is on offer in Swiss. Now, Club Palace (which is closer to Zug) is not great at all and the lineup is poor so if it was a choice of driving to Globe or going to Palace I would bite the bullet and drive to Globe.
