New Garden Email address
Ask them which of the following emails are correct then suggest they properly update their website to reflect that:
1) HOME area of their webpage (the next to the last paragraph) says to contact Wilfred at info@hotelnewgarden.net. (that email address does not exist)
2) Then the “contact us” area of the website gives: info.newgarden@gmail.com
3) Then another guy below says to try hotel.garden@codetel.net.do
I recently exchanged emails with Wilfried. The gmail address appears to be the current address. What I noticed is that I would write/respond to the gmail address and Wilfried's responses would come from the codetel address so they are "linked" in some fashion. I suggest sticking with the gmail address but guess you could use the codetel.
El Neptuno has two bedroom condominiums with two bathrooms, washing machine, safe, internet, air conditioners in all rooms, full kitchen, balcony, close to the action, but at night you can't go crazy with the noise. Or rent two, one-bedroom condos at tradewinds, or rent two rooms in one of the many hotels. Some other places around Sosua have two or more bedrooms, condominiums and villas. Going past playa chiquita casino, if you take the road to the end, there is more coastline with some really nice villas on the water, some for rental, private security and other amenities.
Jaosousa
Read with great interest of your report of El Neptuno, did you type correctly "can't" go crazy with the noise at night?
Is this a quiet complex to stay in?
Hope so that's what I was looking for.
Thanks for any info.
Kind Regards!
Havent been there since Sept 07
Highly recommend the New Garden penthouse. There are only the two rooms on the fourth floor with two large patio areas, a long shared balcony and a great view of Sosua and all the way to the sea. One room is a regular and the other is huge with a jacuzzi. See pix. Just call Wilfred and see if its available. Tell him Koki sent you.

Nowrath
I stayed at El Neptuno twice, nice building, nice apartments, chica friendly, I made some noise late at night, one time, loud music and the watchieman came up and asked me to the lower the music. No problem, no complaints from neighbors.
I stayed at the Palms condos twice, not recommended, one time I had some chicas in the condo at Palms, we were chatting, music was not loud. The next day I found a note on the kitchen table, basically saying that unless I kept very quiet at night, I would have to vacate the apartment. Last time I stayed at the Plams I was told I could not bring guests to the pool. Unless I was desperate, I would never rent at the Palms again.
I had no problems at the El Neptuno, brought chicas to the pool, saw other mongers renting there. But it is a quiet complex, with people who live there, who are not partying, some older people. It is not a church, but you just cannot blast the music late at night. Nice rooms, nice bathrooms, walking distance to all. A little pricey, but if you split the cost with another guy could be around 50 US Dollars per night. The rates change depending on the season. Ramona is the administrator there, nice dominican lady. You pay for the electric you use at El Neptuno (cheap, less than 10 dollars per day, unless you blast all three air conditioners 24/7). I previously posted some photos I took at El Neptuno, any questions let me know. I can tell you who I rented from, American guy, very nice.

Nowrath
To be more clear, the last time I stayed at El Neptuno I paid about 100 dollars per night, which I split with a friend, 50 US for each guy per night. I rented in slow season there one time and paid about 75 dollars per night, which I split with a wingman. There are a few apartments for rent there. The guy I rented from lives in Pennsylvania. El Neptuno has a person on site who handles the paperwork.

I notice it is impossible to see where el neptuno is located with reference to the main action in sosua. What is the secret? Where is it located. What about the robberies and burglaries there recently, stories which are readily available on the web via google search? Who is really posting this advertisement?

But you gave me the most important item
Quiet at night,

Coco Hotel
For the peps who's considering staying on the Coco Hotel for their stay, do yourself a favor and only consider it as a last resort. I had to reserve a room there after I screwed up my reservation at NewGardens and there were no other alternatives.
Negatives: The room was a dump and they are all in similar conditions. Hot water was non existence. Even on the hottest days, I wouldn't dare consider jumping in the pool. The AC unit in the room was not properly insulated so bugs and mosquitoes was able to infiltrate the the room. The room I had was close to the street so it could get very loud at night. I was actually kinda embarress brining the chicas back to my room. The distance from actions are further than I would like, the added hassle and expense of paying a motohoncho back and forth really suks.
Positives: The staff was very helpful and accommodating. On most days there are one or two decent looking chicas sitting at the bar waiting to be picked up. The private beach that they advertised is very nice, and is a good place to go if you want to do something with a chica outside. The security at night is decent.
This hotel is for someone who is on a really slim budget and likes the distance from the hotspot.
From my observation, this hotel is used by the locals for a quickie.

What about the robberies and burglaries there recently, stories which are readily available on the web via google search? Who is really posting this advertisement?
I googled el neptuno and burglary (and robbery) and found no relevant stories on the first page of the google results. If you have more information, please share. No secret about el neptuno, I am certain that many thousands of people have rented at El Neptuno. Advertisement? If I like a place and can recommend it, is that an advertisement? I have no financial interest in any place in the Dom Rep. I will be in Santo Domingo in 7 days so if you want to see who is posting this "advertisement", I'll invite you for a beer so you can see in person who is posting this "advertisement".
Location of El Neptuno: from Classicos walk towards the new casino, past the corner bar, past the small grocery store, past the pharmacy, past the Juan Perdomo real estate office, then the street where the Casino begins, there will be a restuarant to your right (with outdoor seating, I forgot the name) there will be a restaurant across the street to the left (I believe PJ's or something), the road that takes you to playa sosua will be to the left with a bar on the corner (used to be Voodo lounge many years ago). There should be a taxi stand on the opposite corner, at this road make a right and walk straight, after a block you will reach an intersection, keep going straight, the road will descend and bend to the left, after three hundred feet on the left will be El Neptuno, three story condominium building, with I believe three entrances. If you continue to walk straight on this road, you will come to Piergorgio hotel, where the road ends. If you make the left on the westernmost corner of the el neptuno property, Victorian House, Sosua Bay Hotel and the new Casino will be about a block up the road.
If you need additonal information let me know.
I have previously posted photos that I took at el neptuno. Sorry if you think I am making an advertisement. I found the condominium at el neptuno to be very nice, a little pricey, so I don't always stay there, I am a little cheap, so I have used the tradewinds which are half the price, buy only one bedroom.
I was responding to a post where a member was asking about two bedroom places. The chicas I took to el neptuno liked the apartment. I would like to see the stories about burglaries and robberies you mention in your post.

Nowrath
Great price, I think you will like it there. In the pool, I met an older American couple who live there, they were telling me their stories about sailing their boat through the Caribbean. There is a big supermarket on the main road of Sosua about 4-5 blocks from el neptuno. On the roof of el neptuno, I believe they have clotheslines where you can dry your laundry.

Chica Questions in Sosua
I was thinking about staying at the New Garden Hotel with my girl. Before you say "Don't bring sand to the beach, my girl loves girls like I do (Instant 3some) don't be jealous. We have already been to Blackbeards twice, with great results. We just wanted to try Sosua. Is New Garden a good move for a couple looking for chicas. Is it true that chicas hang around at the pool? How close is New Garden to La Passions? Are the chicas more expensive at La Passions than the ones that could be hanging around New Garden? How far is the beach from New Garden or La Passions? Basically what would be our best move at Sosua for about two days in July before we go to BB's.
Thanks my fellow hunters,
Team horny
