Hi,
I am a US citizen so won't receive special VIP treatment at the US border. I will get searched and asked a bunch of questions coming from Tijuana into san diego.
I want to buy ivermectin and hydroxychloroquine from mexico because in the US these drugs require prescription and I don't have money to pay a doctor to write me a prescription.
If I bring 20 ivermectin and 20 hydroxycholorquine pills with me, what kind of treatment should I expect at the border?
1) border agents will put me in jail.
2) border agents can't care less.
Note: this is not a debate about whether these medications work on China virus.
If you need a script in the US, and don't have one from the US. Then yes.
You won't go to Jail, but. Future trips will get harder to return home cleanly.
Go to the San Diego MTA, identify trams with parking lots because not all have parking lots. Then park at the parking lots a little further north because there is a lot of theft and homeless folks hanging around the Southern lots. Dress down to fit in, like jeans, sneakers, t-shirt, jacket, cap. Leave everything behind that show you have wealth like an expensive watch. Use the HK transport or Adelitas, or Chicago because they are safer than taxi drivers. Put a $20 in your shoe just in case you get robbed and need money go get back. Fridays and Saturdays seem to be the safest days because of heavy military patrols.
Ya. Sometimes I drive over, sometimes I don't.
When I don't I park for a week for like $60 a bit north, and trolly down. And I've never had a problem with a taxi driver. I think that's a bit overblown.

Shefield,
20 ivermectin and 20 hydroxycholorquine pills /.
In my strong experienced opinion there will be NO PROBLEM with hydrixycholorquine. As it is not a scheduladed controlled substance. Less than 90 day supply in sealed original container.
I have brought back antibiotics and blood preasure meds. No script. In bag and declared: "Personal medication for my own use. Would you like to see? They will glance and as long as it is NOT A CONTROLED SUBSTANCE and you are NOT Selling them. They will take your word.
The ivermectin I am not sure about. Your WORST case scenario is they question you and US Customs confiscates it and has you fill out a form to get it back.
Note. They are looking for Cash $$ above $10 K, and pain killers and other controlled scripts. You will NOT get in trouble especially if you DECLARE your required medications.
Peace.
Do you need to be staying at the cascades hotel to catch the limo?
Nope, they don't ask questions. Just give the driver a tip as you exit the limo and you'll be fine.
Is there any issue with declaring ED meds?
No. I've done it many times.
Is there any issue with declaring ED meds?
I cross several times a week since I live in Mexico, mostly, when going to work in Arizona. I stay several days. Whenever they ask about anything to declare, my answer is, " My meds, personal items, and some meals. " Not once have I've been asked what meds or to show them.
No. I've done it many times.
Great I've been poring them out of their bottles into generic bottles. And just to be clear, customs does not ask for a prescription?

Peace.
Ok, thanks. The problem is I will probably act all nervous and like a weirdo and they will investigate me. I don't do well with authority. So when you say it's for your own personal use, you mean you brought it from the US into mexico to use and now you are bringing it back? Or you mean you bought it in mexico? Or you intentionally leave it vague and let them make their own conclusions?
-
I bought it in Mexico and am coming back to the USA. And it is for my own personal use. The COST of medicine in USA is more expensive than in Mexico. You can always say you Had a prescription but it needs to be re-newed. But honestly the 2 medications you mentioned are known for the China virus. I can only think that US Customs would assume you are just another Joe Rogan or even a Conservative prepper type.
Now, if I was an extremally suspicious customs agent - maybe I would think your "China Flu meds" are actually something prohibited. So then they will test it. That's why you need to have your purchased meds sealed, and a receipt even?. Don't worry about getting busted for those items. It is for health right? Not to get high and not to re-sell in USA. Look at all of the pharmacies in Tijuana. It is a big business. Most TJ Pharmacies have the big Physicians Desk Reference book and know their shit.
Tell US Customs the truth.
Again. I am going to repeat. It must be for your own 90 day or less supply and NOT on the controlled substance list. You can't bring back Vicodin. You can not bring back steroids.
It is for health right?
If you don't have a script, it is not for health. We only get to play Doctor with OTC meds.

If you don't haver a US doctors script, you cannot have it in the US.
A 3 yr old can understand that.
No script, the conclusion is black and white, you shouldn't have it...what you can get away with..is another story.
Depends on the officers mood that day and how you look in the infrared camera...if you're all nervous as hell, it can go a little sideways.

Peace.
I do this a lot to, the changup being I have a script, and mix these in with my own from the US.
"DECLARE your required medications. ".
If these are script only in the US, you technically can't have them without them.
Every line at customs eventually has a bad day. Can't say 100% you won't end up giving them up, but they won't arrest you.
If you don't have a script, it is not for health. We only get to play Doctor with OTC meds.
During Covid I brought back blood preasure meds that I did not have a current prescription for. My intent was to have my BP meds that I needed and not go through a hassle of making a Drs appt who would want me to do another blood test prior to writing the script. And Covid made Dr. appts Hell and hard to access. The law. Or common law is based on intention and what a reasonable person would do in like circumstances. Not pushing back on your strict interpretation. BUT - for me. Fuck that shit. I truly have high BP and have had many legit scripts and know what I need. My intention was for health purposes and I don't find US Customs scary because yes. Those are my pills sir. Regarding the OP and the Covid pills. I think it is great he hears various opinions / interpretations. But the way he explains it is indeed for Health and not illegal.
Peace.
P.S. Maybe Shefield should spend the $49.99 for a live MD in the USA and do a Zoom medical treatment video consultation and get the scripts he needs? Hint hint... that's a work around for antibiotics when you really really need the ZPack and can't get to TJ.
