How ya' doin?

Regarding mongering, - definitely a secret not to be shared with one's children, regardless of age.
We all have the usual human frailties, but one does not wish to learn that sort of thing of our fathers, -or our kids of us.
In my case, no sons, -but a daughter.
And if possible I will remain her "knight in shining armor" until I take my secrets to the grave, as Ponderosa said.
Regarding Manizales' idea,
I would take my son to Colombia - and let him fall in love.
Let him find some sweet, Colombian "girl next door."
Indeed, after a Colombiana, he will be spoiled for all other women, especially gringas.
Let him see women first as women, and let that form his perception of women, rather than as wh***s.
Otherwise, how could he view women as anything else for the rest of his life.
I have seen guys bring their young (late teens-early 20s?) sons to BB and bought their kids a piece of a$$, - but that is low, in my opinion.
Make the kid a low-life incapable of a normal relationship.
(Do you think it was just a coincidence that they sounded like extras from the set of The Sopranos?)[/QUOTE]Damn Yanqui,
I wish I could put my thoughts to written words as well as you. I have no intentions of introducing my son to mongering but I fully intend on introducing him to Colombia and the Latin culture in general as I will be living there full time by then. I can't even imagine being at BB's with one of my kids, yuck.

If you are just using a phone for your vacation, then you may want to go to the place right across the street from Sea Breeze or the place up the street from that irish pub on the left hand side. Right across from the gas station/metro bus station.

I would guess 6PM, but you can buy cards at any colmado, get your phone activated at the little store 2 doors to the right of The Shark Bar, he has never let me down. The kiosk in the main Playero can also activate your phone, but that chica is as dumb as a rock.
Is it me or the quality of the chicas in Sosua has delined. Or maybe it is I need to find a new destination. LOL. It's crazy because over the years I've been seeing the same women. Some look good still but some declined in quality. I'll try to remain optimistic. I coulda been with a nice Hatiana yesterday for 500 pesos but I didn't like her atitude after a while. I hate to say it like this but she started "acting like a hatian". Ima hit up classicos tonight and see what happens. Also question. Has any of you guys stayed at the hotel down the block from calypso. Its on the left hand side the rooms are 30 per night with no a/c. I'm consdering it due to the fact that I'm in Europa and I stay here like 99 percent of the time I'm here. Looking for something alittle different. Let me know guys.
Thanks,
Slimtower

I would be interested to know what you mean by this. I now live in the DR and I choose to go with haitianas 80% of the time. The reason is that I find them more sincere, honest, appreciative and affectionate and usually better educated. Having said that, there is a small group of hardened and hardcore haitianas to be found in and near the Merengue Bar in Sosúa, but they are far from typical. They have been in Sosúa too long and have picked up the worst traits of their Dominican "co-workers". I look for those fresh out of Haïti.
As for the overall quality declining in Sosúa, guys have been saying that for the five years I have been visiting and probably for decades beforehand. What is clear is that prices are now more attractive than anytime in that five years because of the drop in gringo visitors due to the economic situation, at least 500 pesos less for ST or TLN.

I was in Hotel Romanoff one time, two working girls lived there, they shared a room and I visited their room one time. Seem their room had a kitchen, seemed nice enough from what I can remember. Some working girls live in the Hotel Cubano which is near (probably south east on a semi paved side street) to the Hotel Europa. Hotel Cubano is a little beat up.

I don't think you want to spend more than one nut in Hotel Cubano, it is a step down from Calypso! Hotel Romanoff has a few decent rooms, great food downstairs, (Thai/German).
The nicest quickie hotel is The Coco Hoe-tel, real nice Canadian folks run it. I would even spend the night there if the chica was giving it up in the AM.
