Question about white and orientals girls in DR.
I've been putting it off for too long, but it's time for a DR trip. I've been to England, Germany and Dubai and I need some place closer and cheaper. I've read, watch many videos about DR and it looks like I'll be doing a few days in blackbeards and NG in Sosua. But my questions is (other then going to Santiago) can I find white Latina and Asian girls in POP and downtown Sosua?

Like most West Indian islands, the population is mixed, but most people have African ancestry. Although there are while families in the DR of pure Spanish descent, plus other white immigrants of various types, mostly they belong to the landed or commercial classes and are not in prostitution.
I am not saying that you can't find some mixed-descent girls who have light-colored or pale skin, but the DR is a much better destination for people who find black or brown girls sexy and you may be disappointed.

Also a very good carnival in Trinidad. If the original poster is interested in South Asian chicas in the Caribbean, he may want to visit Trinidad and Tobago (I have no clue how the p4p scene is on Trinidad and Tobago).
When I used to use the International version of Match to meet Dominicanas online, some would describe themselves as being Hindu in appearance (South Asian Indian features). Years ago when I used to visit Sosua I saw some Dominicanas who had South Asian features. There used to be a 30 year old white English woman who used to trick in Sosua.
In the DR many fast food chicken places are owned by Chinese Dominicans. In the Jaragua Casino in Santo Domingo many Chinese Dominicans gamble. Some Dominicinas who may have some Chinese ancestry, with Asian features are sometimes called China (Cheena). HBO show Sexo Urbano for Santo Domingo featured a Dominicana stripper named China; http://www.ustream.tv/recorded/1634592
There are always light skin Dominicanas in every town in the DR. IF the OP wants blue eyed, blonde hair Dominicanas then he will not find that in great abundance in the DR. On the airplane coming back to new york city from Santo Domingo my last trip, there was a family of very light skin Dominicans on the airplane. One 20 year old daughter had blonde hair, light green eyes (her voice was terrible, like a truck driver) , the other family members were light skin, light colored hair and light colored eyes.
Growing up one of my favorite stories was the Jungle Book by Rudyard Kipling (born in India to English parents) , the Disney movie and I had the toys of the Indian Boy brought up by a pack of wolves in the jungles of India, with a friendly bear and black panther.

The original poster seems to be looking for white girls, not light skinned.
Kipling wrote:
East is East.
And West is West.
And ne'er the twain shall meet.

He has another story called Ricky Ticky Tavvy (the squirrel) which you would find very nice. There is a movie - The man who would be the King - Sean Connery and Michael Caine starring, based on Kipling's story, which is very beautiful and evocative. Caine's wife, who is Indian had a role there.
Thanks for your response, LOL well if Columbia is good enough for the secret service, it's good enough for me. Lololol It appears maybe I should be looking at there or Costa Rica.
But isn't Columbia dangerous, I luv the hobby but I AIN'T GOING TO RISK MY LIFE OVER IT. LOL Besides what's attractive about Dominican Republic IS IT'S CLOSENESS TO the States and a less expensive trip that can't be passed on.

Later in life his opinions changed a bit, especially after the death of his son. He was convinced that joining the army in World War I would make a "man" of his rather bookish, short sighted son John. John's head was blown off about ten days after he arrived at the front in France. Gung-ho militarism was less evident in his writings after this.
Gung-ho militarism was less evident in his writings after this.
It's interesting how gung-ho many are when it's not their friends or family who have to risk their lives in battle.
I notice how America's worst president ever, GWB, never backed his gung-ho militarism with is daughters' participation. Typical bully-boy, hero from a distance behavior.
It's interesting how gung-ho many are when it's not their friends or family who have to risk their lives in battle.
Interestingly, it was the same during the Vietnam war under LBJ. People who could, got away so to that extent, I salute both Kerry and McCain! Of course, in that context, Kipling had balls (I am not at all sure how pathetic I would be).

His philosophies, who am I to criticize?
Speaking of Kipling, there is another British author, and I am not sure how well known he is in the West, that I loved, was Jim Corbett. He lived in the middle of nature and his account of his time and place are "inolvidable".
Was giving a fellow BlackBeard's traveler a ride to Sosua and we stopped by WhiteBeards to check it out. There were only about 5 chicas there at the time three not so good looking and two on par with the BB girls. The guy I was with looked at the rooms and said they were a little better than the rooms at BB. If I remember correctly the rate was $45 / night.
Attached are some pictures of the place to give you a feel for the layout.
Heading down to Puerto Plata in little over a week for my first trip to DR. I'll be with a small group of my friends. We are staying at Lifestyles Resort (I did not pick). After reading this site it looks like we made a bad move. Is it a trip killer?
We are looking for P4P and non-P4P.
I have another couple of questions too.
Is it better to use US$ or DR$? If the peso is better where should we exchange our money?
Any must-do spots for a group of 27-31 year olds?

If you are all coming just to fuck chicas wall-to-wall then it was not the best choice, but if you got a good flight/hotel package by no means a disaster. You can still have a great time and recce other places for a future trip.
See post #6062 below for my two cents. You will find it below the English Literature seminar and book review section.
Except in places specifically aimed at the gringo market (and they will tend to be more expensive anyway) it is always better to use pesos, even though you have to pay a commission to change them. Where best to change depends where you are. Western Union is good and the best place in Puerto Plata city is RUSA, very close to the Central Park. But it is not worth paying for a taxi to go somewhere else just to save 3 dollars on exchange rates. I am always amazed at the guys who do that. Most banks have a wall poster showing their current rates so you can check before committing. They charge a few cents more than a dedicated money-changers but if you are already at a bank hardly worth going specially to RUSA unless you are changing many thousands of dollars (in which case it might be).
I did not mention non P4P in my previous post because the guy I was trying help was on limited sneak-out time. But Puerto Plata is far better for non-P4P than Sosua. Try La Copa in Costa Dorada or the string of bars along Avenida Luis Ginebra starting from the stadium end, of which the best is El Furgon. You will find it an uphill struggle without reasonable Spanish though.
