Looking for cheap and secure hotel
If cheap and secure sound contradictory you may think of it as reasonably cheap and secure. Secure in this case refers to my laptop and it is about the data and the associated scandal with data loss.
I did some research and came up with Terminal, Parkside, Kenya Comfort Hotel, Eureka Highrise, Impala hotel and Mooreland hotels.
I would greatly appreciate if someone could recommend a GF hotel up to USD60 that is reasonably secure and also close to Simmers. What I have read, it seems that Simmers is probably a better option for first time visitor.
Any information would be appreciated
I've been going to Nairobi on and off for the past 5 years and have hit the regular spots (Madhouse, Simmers, etc.) and have enjoyed my time. I'll be in Nairobi at the end of next month and have an insatiable taste for "Indian Cuisine".
Before I get flamed, I did RTFF but have not come up with anything conclusive so I've come to the board asking for help. If anyone could provide some reliable information as to where I can get some good "Indian Cuisine", I would be most appreciative. You can post or feel free to PM me. Thanks in advance.

Good question BD ... now that you come to mention it.
And maybe worthwhile discussing as a thread !
As Nairobi is definitely a mongerer's paradise .. but not with Indian really being on the menu ... in all my 10+ years of feeding on the local Nairobi cuisine I too have yet to come across freely available Indian pussy!
Anyone else have any positive experience ?
