I understand why the bareback guys may not wish to post on the topic, but I'd be interested in reading what they have to say. Likewise the opposite point of view would be good to read. I've read the safe sex forums and am surprised there isn't a more informative dialog on this topic on these strings. So much is written about safe sex in the media. I'd like to read what the guys in the trenches, so to speak, have to say.
I think this has been covered quite a bit in the Safe Sex threads. It often gets emotional devolving into pro and con inflamed posts you just need to sort through and I've seen pages on different PI boards deleted or transferred properly to the Safe Sex mb. Maybe best to read through Safe Sex and post queries there.

My recollection is consistent with your characterization, most posts were vitriolic attacks against people on the other side of the issue. I seriously doubt if I'll change my ways. Worrying about contracting something,"contributing to the problem." etc. Isn't conducive to satisfying sex.
Japanese in Thailand?
Yeah there are some, but like I said not the most. Almost double the number of Chinese and the numbers of Malaysian Indians holy hell.
1 million visits. How many of those are repeats? Japan has 130, 000, 000 in country and several million outside of the country. Pretty high I guess, but I don't run into them too much. Would be happy to, like to practice my Japanese and tell them to stop spending so much money. Actually goes over well sometimes when I tell them how much less I spend and still get equal entertainment.
I don't know about Koreans, but there are a lot. Read once 50, 000 Koreans live in Thailand full time. Then at least a million tourist visits. Interesting now that Thais are also going to Korea in higher numbers:
"Thanks to 'hallyu, ' or the Korean wave sweeping Southeast Asia, more and more Thai tourists are coming to Korea.
"According to the Korea Tourism Organization (KTO) , the state-run promoter of Korean tourism overseas, Tuesday, Thais now rank the sixth largest tourist group visiting Korea after the Japanese, Chinese, Americans, Taiwanese and Filipinos.
"As of the end of November, the number of tourists from Thailand jumped 20. 7 percent from a year earlier to 277, 000.
"Among Southeast Asian nations, only Malaysian visitors increased at a higher rate of 44. 9 percent to 102, 000.
"KTO also said that per-capita-spending among Thai tourists reached $1, 392 in 2010, higher than Japanese tourists' average of $1, 070.

Would love to know where these people are staying $1, 070 for a holiday in Korea? I usually spend 3-5000. I guess mongering adds up.
I'd appreciate tips on condoms. I use the Crown Skinless Skin condoms. Even though they're better than standards such as Trojans, they really diminish the sensation. So, I'd appreciate recommendations.
More than once I've been called "Obvious Guy" so please excuse me if this too is obvious.
My satisfaction increased considerably when I learned to put lubrication inside the condom.

Paul Kausch,
The folllowing url lists various Sagami and Okamoto polyurethane condoms that fit your description. I've seen them recommended by punters on other sites, but never tried them myself. One comment said the large size was ok for an average size caucasian but not a large guy, though you might like to give it a test drive.
http://www.amazon.com/Sagami-Original-0-02-Condom-Pack/dp/B002E1KYW2
From the Thailand Safe Sex thread:
I like this commercial for one of the. 02mm condoms made by Sagami. Find it at at e-condom punkt org then tack on / product_detail. Php? P_id=1_37&tr=ad&gclid=CN7yvsnTmaACFdx05QodLzqmeA.
I think the difference between the Okamoto and Sagami is the girth. Okamoto is 55mm and Sagami is 58mm.
From what I can tell anything over 55mm according to this website is "large": condomking punkt eu then / wpt / view / helpfaq / size-guide-51100
So it seems only the bigger guys are catered to.
07-22-12 16:29.
From time to time I do think about going bareback. I'd certainly enjoy it more. I've read up on STDs so I know the odds of contracting an STD; I know with a little luck I could have a long string of bareback fucks without contracting an STD; I know if I did most cases are treatable; I know as I'm not out looking for katoeys to bang my ass the risk of contracting HIV / AIDS is low. Some working girls and semi-pros won't allow you to ride bareback. It's easier to find them in the Philippines (thank you Mr. Pope) , harder in other places, especially Europe, North American, in Thailand they're harder to find than in the Philippines. I'm under the impression the promise of a bigger tip changes their attitudes about bareback. Everyone has their price. Its obvious some forum members routinely ride bareback, others never ride bareback.
I like BB & Safe Sex, so I use other types of Safe Sex methods besides condoms to give me similar protection from STIs, especially HIV since I have little concern about anything else. In fact, apart from HIV, I worry more about getting a girl pregnant than other STIs. But practicing withdrawal at a very high standard is about as effective as condoms in that regard, as well as safer for the girl, in case I have unknowingly contracted anything.
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Safe_sex
Personally I enjoy BB more than using condoms, as is the case with most guys. I can generally last as long as I want either way, which usually means I'll go for hours and not cum, by choice. But if going BB resulted in cumming much more quickly, then I might prefer condoms for the advantage of providing the greater overall pleasure. In that sense the guys who find they cannot cum during sex for a long time, if at all, are blessed and considered to be what many women would love to have as a partner. Why else would delayed ejaculation be a problem, unless a couple is interested in making a baby, or the hooker is getting sore or wants move on to the next trick, in which case I just move on to the next hooker.

Okamoto is about the best there is but ONLY when you buy them in the west. The ones sold in Japan, Korea, Thailand, Cambodia are damn tiny. They don't go all the way down even on my average sized prick. Pack some from home. You can get them online at an extremely low rate. They have models as thin as 0. 2 mm.
-
Rick & Pink: thanks for the information guys. The Crown Skinless Skins are by Okamoto. I buy them in bulk from a condom distributor in the USA. The thinnest Okomoto's I've found are latex and. 047mm. They fit fine. As I said I'm only a little larger than average for a North American. I'll look for them in. 02mm thickness. The Sagami's are polyurethane and. 02mm. I've read the material makes a significant difference. I've seen them on Amazon and have noted that some reviewers say they are too tight. I found a company in Australia that sells them in a larger size.
http://www.002.com.au/
My issue is 12 cost $39, plus S&H. I might spend that much if they are worth it. But as I've said in other posts I'm toying with the idea of going bareback whenever possible. I have no great fear of contracting an STD (except for HIV / AIDS. Which I know is less likely) , but I do worry about spreading it around if I do catch something. My mongering tends to be feast and famine. I might go for a month with nothing because I'm up in the Andes working on a project and there's nothing worth fucking around; then I'll be in a city with a good mongering scene for two weeks where I'll fuck a dozen or more different women. At least I don't have to worry about getting the girl pregnant, but I'll read about withdrawal as a method of reducing the risk of spreading an infection. I always thought the pre-ejaculatory fluids could transmit an STD.
Thanks again guys, you're a big help!

Monsoon season
Well I am a hobbyist that wants to venture out. Also want to maintain. My status with skyteam. I plan on going to Angles city around July or August for about 5-6 nights. Are things shut down during the season? How bad are the flights from MNL? I don't think I can fly into Clark from the states.
Thanks for the information.
-
Why would anything be shut down? If the Philippines shut down at the threat of natural disaster it would be boarded up 365 days a year. This is a land of regular monsoon, floods, typhoons, volcanoes, mudslides and earthquakes.
-
I don't know about Australia. Seems you guys pay high shipping for everything, at least that's what some Aussie guys have told me.
The 0. 02 Okamoto I get online. 12 for $25 free shipping.
The 0. 04 I get online. 24 for $25 free shipping.
The Crowns which aren't as good but still aren't bad are online. 100 for $15 free shipping.
Used to use Crowns. Now use 0. 02 or 0. 04.
If you use a cash back credit card, shop a site like Drugstores. Com and something like Ebates. Com you can end up getting them 25 or 30 percent off. Don't know how much of that is available in Oz.

Take half a day to read up about the place you are visiting.
July / August is still hot here post high summer. A few early typhoons might come through but they rarely affect Angeles City except for a heap of tropical rain.
What do you mean by "how bad are the flights from Manila"?
No idea what you mean. They use really big planes with jet engines here, and there are flight attendants on board too. Sometimes flights are bumpy and sometimes they are smooth as silk. They fly all over the Philippines too and even to other countries as well.

Natural Born Cleaners
I was in a branch of Jollibees yesterday morning. Sad, I know, but their egg & sausage pandesal rolls are to die for and much superior to those crap McMuffin efforts which always seem to give me indigestion.
Has anyone else noticed how those glorified doormen and table clearers, otherwise known as Filipino security guards are armed but pitifully short on ammo. I always check their otherwise overloaded belts for rounds. Quite often they have no spare bullets at all, but mostly they have one round as this guy did. Once I saw one mad, bad, brave dude guarding the cream cakes at Goldilocks who had two spare bullets on his belt. He sure looked a mean muvver, too. Wouldn't try and run off with a cream bun with him around!
I know that the reason for this is apparently because they have to buy their own ammo themselves out of their pitifully meager wages. I assume that their weapons are loaded (but maybe not) and probably with a single round. So if the outlet was attacked by 3 desperate masked men intent on stealing all the Jolliburgers, our poor guard would be able only to shoot the first one and then would have to invite the other two to play a round of Russian roulette!

And BTW, I met a junior inspector in PNP, who said. Trust me I am not bluffing.that for this Region 3 budget being low, the officers are encouraged to buy their own vehicle for patrol purposes etc. And a subsidised loan is available, accordingly. I was also wondering what the heck they do with the PNP Budget.
I asked him, when I saw some non-standard gear inside the Isuzu Double Cab he owns.
I was tempted to ask if any gun shot damages are covered.
