My new favorite seafood restaurant is Cebicheria Erizo. Here is my review of the restaurant and if you decide to go, it would be better to make reservations. Q
Cool review of the seafood restaurant Quackup, had me salivating. I enjoy the well prepared seafood as much as I enjoy carne. I appreciate the tip about the place, it's always nice to extend the Tijuana experience out side of the zona bars.
Cheers,
Keg
I would say to you 'relax bro, you've already got a big dick'.
Don't bother with people who ain't worth your time.
Funny as HELL. This has got to be the greatest advice I have ever received Guitarrefreak. LMAO. But, I don't know nothing about having a BIG DICK. I paid these chicas to avoid my black ass. But thanks my brother for the great advice. It was music to my ears. Hahaha!

Monday At Ticuan
Just wondering were any of you the older tall guy with the tiny little blonde, who rode up with us in the elevator at the Ticuan last night at around 11 pm I have a question or 2, or a review would be nice.
-
I saw a tiny little blonde last night at ticuan too, but alone later, a little petite, no heavy makeup, probably B breast, but big round eyes, not sure if we saw the same.

Hey guys I have a question.
I hate going through that horrid line to get back into the US at San Ysidro border, always waiting over 2 hours or more. I've always seen the SENTRI line but never really payed attention to it. This time I am curious about it. I've read up / researched that it's basically a fast pass lane for people returning to USA. But most I've read about it is that it's for people returning in cars. And in a few posts I've read that it's also for people walking in as well but there is never enough detail about how people walking in get through the line. So l'm wondering how exactly this SENTRI things works. Do you just cut ahead of everybody in line before the turn stiles? Isn't that frowned on? Is there a special entrance for SENTRI card holders?
The only other walking entry point I've seen is next to the turnstile but it clearly says I-94 permits only or something to that nature. Do the SENTRI card holders walk through there too? Or was I right the first time in thinking that it's only for people driving through the border?
I'm kind of thinking that for people walking through the border, they still have to wait in the +2hr long line but once they get into the border building, they get the privilege to use the SENTRI line which would only cut them a few minutes off their wait. But if this is the case then SENTRI pass for walkers would be pointless.
Anyone with info, would greatly be appreciated.

There is a separate line for Sentri card holders. Even on the busy weekends, I wait 10 minutes tops!

From the point you walk towards the border, getting through the line and all the way to when you get to the SENTRI line checkout? Paths, entrances, anyone you have to show the pass to, etc.
Also, how long did the application process take and what kind of questions did the interviewer ask you? Plus any and all prices for applying.
Please kthx

Please kthx
There is a separate line for Sentri holders. You just walk past the line and if there is an agent at the turnstile, simply display your Sentri card and he waves you through. The Sentri line is on the left and never has more than 3-4 Sentri card holders at any point.
The process is not that difficult. They take your photo and fingerprints and ask you a few questions. Such as,"Why do you travel to Mexico?" and "What business do you have in Mexico?" It is a great deal as far as I'm concerned. Once you are approved for the Sentri, you are also approved for the Global Entry program. I get through LAX and Miami within 15 minutes, tops!

Thanks! You gave me the info I was looking for!
So what should I say is my "business" in mexico? Obviously I don't want to tell them its to get laid.
I'm originally from Mexico so I was thinking I could tell them its to visit family, but then what would I do if they ask me where they live? I don't have any immediate family in Tijuana, they are all farther south.
So how long did the application process take?

You fill out an application on-line and send them money. It's about $125 and is good for several years. When I applied for GOES it didn't include SENTRI, but now it does. They WILL do a fairly extensive background check. You WILL be required to provide proof of income and / or a job. After approval you MUST go for an in-person interview, which is held near the border in San Ysidro. After passing the interview, you may receive a SENTRI sticker on your car if you wish. They inspect your car for hidden compartments, etc, then put a sticker onto your windshield. ALL parties in a car using the SENTRI lane MUST have a SENTRI card. You will receive your SENTRI card a few weeks after your interview, not on the day you pass the interview. They will ask you to make an appointment for an interview, but you will still sit on your ass for a long time waiting.
To use your card when walking across, just walk to the head of the line. Go through the door to the right of the turnstile, showing the man at the gate your card. The SENTRI lane is the leftmost lane. Walk to the end. Sometimes there will be some bus passengers, too, but the guards are supposed to take SENTRI holders first. Most of the time they do.
Crossing now takes approximately 10 minutes, from taxi drop-off allllllll the way back at the end of the bend in the road through the guard's desk.

The whole process takes a couple of months, IIRC

Thanks fjord, You gave me the EXACT info I needed!
Even though tomjerk. Err, I mean tomjackin (j / k) was helpful, he was still pretty vague in his descriptions, almost as if he was trying to avoid certain questions.
All right, I will apply for a SENTRI card. I should be okay in the background check as I just recently had one for LAX travel and customs. That background check also took about a month but my record was so clean that they didn't even bother with an interview and just gave me my pass.
Hopefully it's the same for this one.

Tourist card FMM
Does anyone know where the heck to get the tourist card (FMM, forma migratoria multiple) now that they changed the entrance into mexico?

Why would I avoid questions about a silly Sentri card? And if I wanted to avoid your questions, why would I take the time to try to answer your questions?
A little research on your part would save you from asking lazy ass questions. Don't expect any more help from tomjerk!
