What room are you in? Should I call someone in to cheer you up, my friend?
Thanks for the generous offer, but I'm now back in Davao and find that I survived after all. I have a semi-hilarious story about a ninja hut-type KTV that I visited with a couple of colleagues, but it would take to long to recount, and perhaps it's only funny after having consumed a few beers. Perhaps it's sufficient to say that, aside from wanting a good laugh, there's absolutely no reason why anyone (well anyone normal) would go to Cotabato to visit this place with no name.
Today, I took the four-hour drive back to Davao, and was again reminded of how lushly beautiful the natural topography of Mindanao is. Unfortunately, the scenery is interspersed with drab, ramshackle towns (Kidapawan being the exception), with no industry to speak of, no amenities, no animation, and even less fun. The only two reasonably safe places to stop along the route are the Jollibees in Kidapawan and Digos, and there of course only for the rest rooms, unless you're into the food, which I am assuredly not.

Guys,
GoodEnough will most certainly give (PST). Called GE and he informed me from Zamboanga City that just earlier they had the FIRST EVER SUICIDE BOMB ATTACK IN THE PHILIPPINES. It occured inside the Zamboanga City Airport just as a flight from Cebu was unloading. Cebu Mayor was on board but had not yet deplaned. Casualties were not available yet, escept the bomber's head was lying on the tarmac. Rest of him was dust.
This brings the entire terrorist phase to a new level. Airport security should be tightened drastically as I am posting. And to think I was even planning a trip to Zamboanga City, my first since 1995 (made ten trips there from '91-'95).
I telephoned Jen, my former lady who dumped me in 2008. Still cannot get her out of my head. She lives with her Family in Zamboanga City. She had not yet heard of the bombing in spite of living within the City proper. But it was at the Airport, which is by the Orchard Hotel where GE was staying. Security there is now "tighter than a virgin's pussy".

So there I was, sitting and chatting amiably with a colleague about our day in Zamboanga. It was about 6:15 in the evening, and the lobby of the Garden Orchid Hotel had lots of US security guys strolling around, since the Ambassador was due in the next morning, though that visit had nothing to do with mine. Suddenly, there was a fairly loud explosion and a brief flash of light in the sky. I thought perhaps it was lightening striking an electrical transformer, or perhaps a loud clap of thunder, but the Filipinos in the lobby knew immediately exactly what it was, and several exclaimed "bomb at the airport," some 300 meters distant.
One of our security guys, and several other US Embassy security types were on the scene in minutes, and it only took a few minutes before I started getting text updates. While some of the messages--and even the follow-up stories-- are somewhat confusing, there's no doubt that it was a bomb, and there's little doubt that the target was Governor Tan from Sulu, who was walking through the airport exit when the bomb was detonated. There's some debate however, about whether the perpetrator was actually a "suicide bomber," or a dupe who had been convinced to carry the package, thinking he would plant the bomb and then disappear. I heard a report today (whether true or not I don't know), that the bomber was in fact a Christian with a severe antagonism toward the (Muslim) Governor. Whatever the case, the bomber blew his own head off with the explosion, and there may have been one other person killed. About 12 people were injured, but most were not hurt badly.
I had a plane our of Zamboanga at 6:30 this morning, and expected that the normally lax airport security would have been tightened. I was wrong. I think I could have pushed a wheelbarrow full of plastique inside and no one would have batted an eye. Our car was not inspected, just waved through as soon as the cop saw a white face. The "extra security" in the form of 6-7 cops, were sitting at a table, bullshitting and drinking coffee, and barely glanced at us. People were still permitted to mill around the airport entrance (the exit for passengers) and the so-called luggage x-ray/security process took 2 minutes, during which time security failed to find the two lighters (forbidden stuff) I had stuffed inside my bag. It was strictly business as usual.
There have been some unfortunate new security protocols put in place at the Davao airport. Now, cars and drivers are permitted to park directly outside of (and within 20 meters of) the airport entrance. When I exited this morning I noticed a crowd of 50-60 people waiting directly in front of the exit doors, any one of whom could have been carrying an unfortunate package. As recently as a month or so ago, no one was permitted access to that area except for deplaning passengers. I have no idea who decided to implement this idiotic scheme, but I hope it's revised again soon in the interest of safety.
I don't think Zamboanga is anymore dangerous for foreigners now than it was prior to the bombing, but it was already dangerous enough. I've said it before and perhaps it bears repeating---there's no reason for foreign tourists to be there. The city has no attractions that cannot be found in greater supply and in more safety elsewhere. It's got no first class hotels, no fine restaurants, no great clubs or bars or sightseeing attractions. What it does have (it is rumored), are random Abu Sayyaff guys floating around taking pictures of the foreigners.
Remember, there are no taxis operating anywhere in the city, so you've got the choice of taking tricycles or jeepneys, so you're visible as soon as you set foot outside the door of your hotel. There's no expat presence to speak of, so if you're foolish enough to go out, there's an excellent chance you're going to be the only foreigner wherever you are.

...on Zambo. Even if you want to meet a cutie from that place, you can just as easily have her meet you in another city on the island. In most cases, this takes cockblocking relatives out of the equation as well.
Guys,
I work the internet during my spare time. Mostly for fun and sometimes to obtain information. Also, to locate a new trouve of HYP (hot young pussy). Most of the time this has NOT been a fertile ground for me. I tend to do best at the "hunting on location. But HOL is not for everyone. And we cannot always be on location, sadly.
A few days ago I met this gorgeous young lady, age 20, living in Butuan City. Now Butuan is a place I more or less view as less than desirable. Not sure there is any accomodation above a 2 star rating anywhere. Not certain about the 2nd star at that.
However, I have determined after careful Study and Review (CS&R) that this City does have one thing going for it; an apparent abundance of HYP. I have just ran into more than a few beautiful, young women sporting a "Rack to Die For" here. These ladies tend to run in the "prime beef" range of 18-23. They also appear to have more than their just allowance in the nice tits area.
And I have met this 20 y/o who is a 9.0 in looks on Any Given Sunday (or monday through Saturday). And she has a huge set of 36C cup tits on a tiny, little body that would get an erection on a statue. Wars have been fought over a lot less than her huge tits. I have not seen these "puppies unleashed" yet but on cam, wearing a tight fitting top or a lowcut blouse, my dick gets so big that it props the desk up a good five inches higher.
She keeps asking me when we will meet. She also tells me how much she wants me to suck her boobs. Told me she is waiting for me to fuck her. And amazingly, over 4 chat sessions and 3 phone calls, there has not been a single request for money. This is incredible.
She says she will meet me in Davao but I may have to make the trip to Butuan first to meet her and bring her back to Davao, alive and ready for fucking. Hope we can make the trip there and back in one day as I have no fucking idea (well fucking is an idea and a good one at that) where I would stay in Butuan City.
I am thinking of investigating the possibility of a vehilcle for hire at a reasonable rate. Nice, spacious read area so I can do some over the road fucking to help pass the time on the long trip back to Davao.

Sorry DS but you cannot do the round trip by road in a day. You could do it by air if you want to go Manila-Butuan, or perhaps Cebu-Butuan, if the schedules permit, but it's such a dumpy little town that there are probably only a limited number of flights. The only semi-decent place to stay that I have found is the Altmont Inland Resort, which is at best a two star with basically inedible food. I have yet to find an acceptable restaurant, but the last time I was there the city was experiencing 10 hour black outs, so looking around wasn't much of an option.
DS, In Butuan there is Dotties for a hotel. They say it is the best. And you are right it is 2 star. There is a resort outside of town. It is 2 star also. I will be there this November trip for a few days. Got clan in Cabadabaran which is 20min outside of town going to Leyete.
Have been chatting DIA girl, but she is so honest I had to break down and tell her I am a dirty ole man. Hopefully she will except me for who I am.
The Almont Inland Resort looks nice.

Hello, Guys!
The best hotel in butuan city is "dottie's place". Its on J. See Aquino Ave. I stayed there in February nearly one week. Its good hotel, compare to western standards I think 3 stars and the resturant is excelent.
(if you like Phils food).
Some words about the town (city): NO TAXIS, you have always to ride trycicle or bus. But its not a problem, the town is small, the mall is near to dotties place (5 min by jeepney). I would try to rent a boat to visit the agusan river, take a look at the crocodiles there.

PS:
On Sunday I will arrive in surigao city, may be I will make a visit in Butuan City.

Thankyou Gentlemen for your input. I think I may pass on this Trip. I like Davao City and just do not have any desire for primitive living. Why I hate camping out. Disgusting! I did get a text from my 20 y/o, huge titted lady in Butuan and we talked on the phone a couple times. Been too busy for much online chatting other than the post I will put in the Davao Board.
I have been several times to Surigao City, all of them back in 1996. I stayed at the Tavern Hotel then. Real primitive with beds that are more like benches. Best it had going for it was that it was on the ocean and you could have breakfast in the morning by a window looking at the water. Breakfast was edible as I have no memories of it being bad. Next door to it was a karaoke place that was fun at night. Not sure if I will get to Surigao City again.
I do not care for filipino foods. I eat some when at my home in Leyte, which is in another primitive location but I made my home comfortable (a/c, nice furniture, adjustable incandescent, ceiling lighting, ceiling fans, formal diningroom set). Being on a "health Conscious" life style, I avoid salt and fatty foods. This eliminates most filipino food.
Any guys wanting to comment further on Butuan City, please do. No one has backed up my claim that this City has more than its "allotted share of lovely, young women with huge tits". Perhaps the guys were with a lady and avoided noticing the pretty girls with huge kabunkers. How they could miss this, I do not know!
Any comments on Surigao CIty. Is the Tavern Hotel still here? What about the newer Hotel here now. Is it any good? And do the college co-eds and assorted young ladies still stroll the Park here after dark looking to fuck/blow a filipino for a couple hundred pesos for school money or food?
I still remember this one fucking pension house I stayed at one time here in Surigao for three nights when the Tavern was full. Had to climb three steep flights of stairs to get to it. And then down the three flights to the nearest place to eat, which was a total dump. When I checked out of this shithole the manager refused to take a creditcard in spite of the signs there saying creditcards accepted and a glass window sporting the mastercard emblem. Guess that was only for decoration or, if by some miracle, someone of any importance actually stayed there.
These "old memories" are what keep me from visiting these smaller towns in the Mindanao (or vasayas) since my younger, more adventurous days back in the '90s.

Guys,
I was awakened last night by a text, which come in as ringtones. I check it and the 20 y/o with the tits the size of Las Vegas has sent me a message. Tells me she will send me some photos of her soon and loves and misses me very much. Lady is moivng a bit fast, considering we met only a week ago online and never in person. Still she is beautiful, young and sexy. I verified all this on webcam as she stood for me different times while wearing different outfits. I also saw a few photos of her.
As mentioned, when anyone prfesses to love you, it is a great compliment. So I make a point not to poke fun at them or state they are being rediculous. But she is making it harder to avoid Butuan City. Now what is the place you stay at here GoodEnough? I can bring a bottle of good, french red and a bottle of real bubbly (from Champagne Region of France). This should ease the situation.
I hate to pass on awesome, young, huge titted pussy. And she has an 18 y/o sister. This can be meaningful in the future or if a friend of mine should come here. Horny Al, I already told you to feel free to contact the lady in cdo and get yourself a world class blowjob. And I guess you and Bianca and her 38C rack are fast becoming friends now. This Giri (nihongo for "obligation; a debt that can never be repaid") can only go so far.
So Butuan City here Dragon Slayer comes. Sooner than you can say "Erection the size of Montana".

The place is the Altmont Inland Resort. Better bring some canned food too cause the crap they serve there is basically inedible, but the accommodations aren't too terrible. There's a nice swimming pool at least. The last time I was in Butuan was at the height of the power crisis and there were blackouts in the city lasting up to ten hours a day or so. I don't know what the situation is now, so better bring a flashlight too, just to be safe, though the hotel does have a generator.
