Lets put the multiple ID issue to rest OK?
I'm not sure if Prov or Guinness or GE or CL or any other of the 'multiple IDs' can add any value to board in the next few weeks, but we'll surely try to entertain.
Don
I have never met Guiness,Dashing Don,On the Go or Prov 1 etc.So I cannot confirm whether they are the same person,HOWEVER I am aware that for the meeting in Manila,One individual is confirmed and booked in a 5 Star hotel along Ayala,Another One is Staying at a P.Burgos 3 star property confirmed and booked under another real name and A third Individual is staying at another 3 star property with a friend. So unless one guy is paying for 3 different hotel rooms using 3 different passports which is required for guest registration under Philippine law,It is clear that they cannot be the same person. So lets put this issue to rest,What do you think??
Multiple personalities...
Sorry to disappoint you Don, but I only have one ID on this board. I have enough problems with one personality and don't need the hassle of multiple identities.
CL: Sorry not to have seen your smiling face in Davao last week. The DS and I had a good time, and you could have joined us for excellent wine.
:D
GE
GE jumps in---3 months late
Now I also have to ask GE,
'Where were you when Junior was spewing the multiple ID theory'
If you don't like it, why didn't you say something while it went on?

The Expats vs The Sex Tourists
I, Dashing Don, am a Sex Tourist.
Cebu Local, Good Enough, Xman etc, are expats.
This Sex Tourist Board has been hijacked by the Expats, and the problem is: We're not interested in the same things.
As a sex tourist, I don't give a rats ass about the GDP or GNP of the PI or any other place.
Utility rates and ferry sinking statistics in the PI make my eyes glaze over.
For me, development programs and literacy rates rank lower than last nights pizza, in terms of interest.
Ditto for whether Filipinas make good business partners.
This kind of stuff is what we regularly get from the expats and I can tell you, GE, that I ignore much of what you write. No offense. But I could care less about this stuff.
What I personally like, are good stories, good reports, and insights into the Filipino way, presented in a fun way. Examples: See Golazo and early Wastrel.
I also like a good fight, albeit in less than bare-knuckled fashion. The goal is not to win, but to write as well as you can.
Additionally, lets at least try to be entertaining, whether fighting, reporting, or chit chatting.
What prompted this post? GE's assertion that "we should be discussing topics of germane interest to a large group of members".
I know that ain't my group.
Its about having good sex and fun times. You wouldn't know it by the tone of some of the posters who try to turn sex tourism into a Phd. program.
