All items in Azul's menu are half price.
Tuesday night ran into a bro in Cascada who said he goes to HK only once a week, but stay 3 nights Mon, Tues and Wednesday hehe. He said he got free drink, free lap dances, free food from HK, just like from a combination of the Social Sec admin and Red Cross. He printed out a thick stack of HK coupons and gave me the Azul's free appetizer one. Thanks Richard.
By midnight in HK, my wingman and I decided to order Azul's'steak dinners with the half-price coupon. We were sitting at a table next to the steps between the 2 stages, which afforded clear view of all activities in both sides of the club. My wingman thought it was the best seats in the house hehe.
Called a mesero over. He had a new menu with about 8 snacks on his tray, but no steaks. He had a hard time understanding what we wanted, so he called over Armando, who speaks English. Armando said we could have either filet mignons or rib eyes. Ordered 2 rib eyes rare, cut up, with all the trimmings for $11.50. Armando came back with the steaks cut up nicely but still way over cooked, with baked potato, veggies, toasts, salsa, but no salt and pepper. It's still a good deal with lots of food, so we just gobbled it up while watching a very raunchy lesbo show with 2 hot girl on the main stage. Life is good!
The meseros no longer show steaks on their tray, but all items on Azul's large menu are half price with the coupon. To get exactly what they want, the bros may want to take their butts off HK's seats, walk over to Azul and place orders with the manager, who speak good English. Come back to HK to watch the show, then after 15 minutes, send a mesero to Azul to pick up the order. A $1 propina for each person would make him happy.
Mexico's hotel reservations.
Besides the large 5-star hotels and resorts, hotels and motels in Mexico would take reservations from anyone, anytime with out CC or deposit, even for packed events like Carnival or Baja 500.
Lots of people make reservations then no show. In a busy hotel like Cascada, I don't know how they manage their reservations. I suppose after 4 hours Cascada would release the no-show rooms, which could be midnight.
7 PM Tuesday night in Cascada reception, the bro ahead of me had no reservation and was told all rooms in Cascada and Rizzo de Orro were booked up solid, nothing was available. The bro was urged to walk down the street to hotel Coahuila. I emailed the request at 5 PM just before I left and got a double room confirmed at discount rate, so Cascada does honor its confirmation!
They will never follow up, show or no show, and won't charge any penalties. So don't worry about it.
