Interesting idea
One of my good lady friends sugested a what she calls a 'train'. I was a bit shocked when she explained what she wanted, but then I started thinking about the idea and I would be willing to give it a try. She has the fantasy of having more than one guy. One after the other that is not at the same time. Coming from her it was quite strange as she is not what you would call a working girl.
She would make a fortune if she was as she is a stunner!! So this is only for fun and not business.Any ideas guys?
Mombasa area.

August weather
Thanks for the Weather Infos.
When I think about the Streets in Mtwapa and then heavy rain., no thanks.
So I think better to change my travel destination in May. AC here I come.
My next paid holidays in August, so the question how is the situation on this Time?
Welcome to the board and thanks for the pics! I wish all new folks would introduce themselves this way! (When I lived in Germany a few decades ago I remember new people were expected to give an "Einstand", quite a nice custom)
To answer you question: Dry and pleasant, avg temp around 24 Celsius (now that I got used to 33-35 and high humidity, I have to wear longsleeved shirts and even light sweaters to stay warm Aug-Sep!).
I found this info on another forum in another language, I will try to translate:
Lollipop (This is the name of the strip-club annex to Tembo):
Hard job for the girls, dancing in the cold bar upstairs, then naked down under in the restaurant for dancing.
It is done with "Colonizer-manie" (these are the exact words used).
The girls are not fond going there. The chicks have to be present from 6 in the evening until 6 in the morning if there are enough customers.
Income: 15.000 Ksh per month fixed salary
No idea what "colonizer-manie" might refer to.
Does it have anything to do with "colon" or rather with "colonizing"?
In any case, I understand Walter (the Teutonic owner) is a pretty tough taskmaster.
I know a girl who used to work there: according to her they got 12k/mo basic plus 50% of whatever they sold like lapdances (1, 000 regular or 5, 000 "special" and the same % on any of the overpriced "ladies drinks"). She says she walked out of that place many a times with 20-30k on a good night (and with 0 on a bad night, of which there are many these days, as she has been told by the girls who are still hanging in there).

More Strippers
(I found this info on another forum in another language).
This person seems to be quite well informed about the different clubs, again in translation:
Kendas: The owners have connections with the police & have to pay some bribes. However sometimes they find a way.
The first 3 chicks that roll in in the evening get 500 Ksh, if anything at all. Other girls may also come and dance if they wish, but they only get the money that they catch. Shown is everything, also when couples get inside (upper floor). Beforehand the lady-partner wil be asked for permission.
The sad thing is that also touching is allowed. The gentlemen are indeed used to wash their hands before eating, but here it is not required.
The girls have a bone-hard job. Often they come from far, have to be fit for the whole night and early in the morning they go home with a few hundred shillings to their babies, if they didn't get customers for more.
Cheers: Every now & then also shows with Tabledancing on the bar, but (normally) not completely undressed, as they are opposite the Bamburi Police.
There the chicks get 1000 Ksh per shift. And for example a bottle of Schnapps beforehand, to loose up a bit ...

Train
Once it was great but no longer.
Crap food, endless delays (24 hrs plus) so take a plane.
If you want to have a kind of 'adventure' then book it, but for one way only! However, regarding the delays Farassi has a valid point! BTW, the food is IMHO not all too bad.
If you have to save time while traveling then the bus or the plane is certainly the much better option.
Cheers!
