I had one other question. What time does East Spa close? If it doesn't close, what time is the last show and what time do things get quiet and the selection of girls get smaller? Does this apply to the other saunas as well?
I will be arriving in Macau in the early evening and plan to go directly to East Spa. I will only have had a late lunch, so I will be a little hungry. Should I have a light supper before I go to East Spa or will there be enough food there around 8pm to have a light meal.
No problem about food there. Have as much as you can take. They have both free and paid menu items.
The show was supposed to be at 7pm but it was not. Asked papasan he told me at 8pm. They finally held it at 9pm last week when I was there.
Went there with no coupon and negotiated with mamasan for a free pool time with a gal and 1388++ for the fs afterwards. Models were 200 more.
Have fun

Thank you for the information. By the way, I love your paintings---especially the View of Toledo and the Burial of Count Orgaz.

Very nice paintings I'll agree with you. I wish they were mine. LOL
Hi guys,
Some of the past threads mention that you can stay at the saunas for 12 hrs or less, while others seem to say that you can stay longer.
I'm planning to buy a full service package for Sauna 18 from Shun Tak and plan to spend a Saturday night at the sauna. I figure why pay the high prices for Saturday rooms when I only use it for sleeping. So the plan is to go in to Sauna 18 at around 5pm on Saturday night and leave the next morning around 11am. Is Sauna 18 flexible with the 12hr limit? Does the flexibility depend on how much I spend? It would be good to know since as a lone traveler, it just doesn't make sense for me to get a hotel room it seems. In future trips to Macau, there may be nights where I'll get the full service option, but there may be nights where I just need a decent place to crash. Would like to know if saunas can fill that requirement.
Thanks

I did the same thing recently at another sauna and bought the minimum package (HK$668.00) at Shun Tak for a vege massage with round trip turbojet tickets included. No problem staying overnight.

I got stuck in macau by typhoon, so stayed in Golden Sauna overnight no problem. One thing I did notice on my second visit, if you walk up to yje "reception" they will offer you a 90 minute sessions for some 600 dollars, but if you take the lift up to the next above floor, they claim this price does not exist and sell you 60 mins for about 1,000 dollars..Never found the sauna names Sanado, but Golden which is opposite Fortune Hotel (taxi pronounce fortoona) seemed like good value to me.
My first trip to Macau was no disappointment; went to the Sauna e Massagem Familia Nobre.
Had to call them on the mobile and pass it to to the taxi driver because he would not understand a word of English or of pseudo-portuguese and the address meant nothing to him.
Finally got there and settled for what is described on as "oriental massage" on the menu. They allowed me to chose one of three lovely asians. She turned out to be vietnamese and called herself "Mimě". Face: 7, body: 7, attitude: 6 (way too professional, barely a smile), but overall quality of service: 9.
I was very satified and recommend the place.
Overall damage: 1300 HKD, including some tips.
Please note that I might be biased: I was posted in Cairo till a few weeks ago and, therefore, everything here seem outstanding to me. I will post again when I have some other experience to share. Kind regards to all my fellow mongers.
Great job. Keep it going.

Went to East Spa last week and was really satisfied with the girls/service. Everything.
This was my first trip but a real memorable one. The manager clearly explained me the Menu and suggested for the 1388 package though I took the 1088 package which will not allow to select the girls but can be upgraded inside if you like a girl. Went in the jacussi and sauna for some time and then to the resting room. Everything was very comfortable and then the show started at 9pm. What a show with 24 great looking girls parading and then stops at you. It was a police raid show and hence everyone was handcuffed for a minute and given BBBJ.
I was convinced to select a girl and selected a Russian named Elina. Looks 8, service was 9.5. Amazing. Everything was done. AR, AL, Hot and cold BBBJ, Total GFE experience.
Well spent 1388. Would recommend Elina for anyone visiting in the near future.
spend 3 days at macau, visited 2 saunas & 2 race tracks + 1 av show. let me report on the sauna 1st.
1. 18 vs east spa. 18 at golden dragon. not much introduction needed. favorite among the regulars all because there are lots of girls from united nations; white, yellow, brown, black; your choice. the down sides are the place is pretty run down & extremely crowded at night. when show time or the beauty contest starts; the place is like a fish (or rather chicken) market. everyone are rushing for a good view or to choose their beauty. if you intend to visit a sauna to unwind or de-stress, this is definitely not the place; it will gives you more stress as the competitions are simply too keen. if your intention is to browse hundreds of girls & to select your best choice for a shot; maybe 18 is the only place can offer you the quantity & variety. come to think of it, if you're only interested in the girls; you might as well visit darling near the jetty & go straight to the point.
east spa at 6th floor waldo hotel, much smaller but the selection is pretty good. at the peak hours they have easily 50-60 girls for a small crowd of 40-50. what attracted me to east spa was their advertisement of claiming sauna+club+ktv all in one. as you enter there will be girls to help you with shower & give you a bbbj right at the shower area. if you're not comfortable, stop her from doing the bbbj. there are 2 small pools that you may soak & play with the girls too. if i were you, don't. i was told they change the water only once a day. who knows what inside the pool; [CodeWord109], sperms.? ! find a seat near the entrance for better view, order some food & you'll realize this place is pretty small. as & when they like, the management will organise game with girls dress up & come to everyone to tease them. select your girl or you may call for a special parade for selection. check out the av costume extra on nurse, policewoman, maid & school girl. they'll charge 200 extra & there are many japanese in this sauna. try the ktv room, have you ever in your robe or naked & singing your heart out before the girl gives you a full service at the bed just beside the ktv sofa? if you select the costume option, the girl will have some toys & vibrator to play with. the damage. full service 1600 + 200 costume + 300 ktv + 160 for 6 can of beers + 118 back massage. all in all, better service & better feel as compare of 18. look for the admin manager, monica. she's friendlier if you speak cantonese.
race track + av show tomorrow when the response of this report is good. already 1am. have to bathe & sleep.

I stopped off one day in Macau on my way to Bangkok and also spent one day there on my return. Information from Juplo, Henio and others was very helpful. I visited East Spa on the way in and Rio on the way out. I liked both of them, but in general, I preferred Rio.
The main reason is that the Rio girls were more beautiful and gave better service. After a session with #865 at Rio who was beautiful and gave great service, I asked the papasan if all the girls treated their customers so nicely. He said yes and added that before a girl started working, a woman trainer taught all the girls how to please a man.
The session at Rio was magnificent. #865 was wonderful. We undressed and hugged for a while, then she ran the water in a shallow tub. I laid down on my stomach in the tub, and she ran hot water over me while giving me a body massage with her wonderful breasts and bottom. At first, I wondered about the shallow tub, but it really works well, because you don't sink down below the water level, so she can massage you with her body. After this, she turned me over and laid me on my back. She continued her body massage, then started kissing me all over my front, then giving me a sensuous and elegant blowjob.
After this experience, she moved me over to the bed and we had delighful sex in various positions. After I came, she didn't get up and leave, but instead said we had more time left and gave me a nice, relaxing ten-minute massage. It was a real treat.
Some posters have said that East Spa is more intimate and friendly, but even though Rio is bigger, I found the staff even more friendly at Rio.
There are, however, some advantages to East Spa. First of all, at East Spa, you get a female Indonesian attendant undressing you in the locker room, while at Rio, the locker room attendant is male. At East Spa, you get a girl giving you a shower and a brief bbbj, while at Rio, you take your own shower. East Spa also has a hot pool where you can take a girl and give her a test run, before making a decision to go long-term with her.
Finally, the East Spa show is better. When I was there, they had a police show, where the girls dressed up in police uniforms, handcuffed all the men to the lounge chairs, then gave each of us a brief bbbj. At another show, the girls all danced around while we sat in lounge chairs and each girl picked a guy, put her hand down his pants and rubbed him, then cuddled with him for a minute. The East Spa shows were fun.
At Rio, you have to leave your lounge chair to go upstairs for the "show" and stand around while the girls file in. Sometimes, one girl will pole dance for a minute, but the show is really just a line-up of the girls. However, there are many beautiful girls and their beauty and service is well worth it.
Rio is also somewhat more expensive than East Spa. I spent about 2,100 HK at East Spa for a package of services, and I spent about 2,600 for a similar package of services at Rio. Part of the price difference is that I picked a "model" at Rio for 2,000 and a "regular" at East Spa for 1,500. I could have also picked a regular at Rio that would have cost 1,500, but I was enchanted with beautiful #865, and it turned out to be worth it.
Although I enjoyed my stay in Macau, I will probably never return. The city is not very interesting with mostly run-down buildings surrounding a dozen flashy highrises housing fancy hotels and neon-flashing casinos. I admit that the Venetian was awesome, but after walking through it and being impressed, that was it. I didn't gamble, preferring to spend my money on pleasure in the saunas. As it turned out, I probably saved a lot of money by mongering instead of gambling.
The other problem is that it's an ordeal to get to Macau. The good part is that you don't have to clear HK customs or immigration when you land at HK airport, you can go right to the ferry, buy your ticket and have them pick up and load your bags onto the ferry. The bad part is that there is almost always an hour and a half wait to catch the ferry, then an hour's ferry ride to Macao, then it takes another half hour to get your bags, go through immigration, get on a shuttle or take a taxi and go to your hotel. That means you have to spend three hours just to get there. The reverse process takes even longer---usually four hours. You have to arrive at HK airport two hours before your flight, it takes an hour on the ferry, a half hour to get to the ferry and another half hour wait to board. That means that you need to spend seven hours of travel time on just a day's trip.
On the return trip, I tried to cut down that time, so I arrived at the Macao ferry terminal at 9:45 am to catch the 10:30 ferry. They saw that my flight was at 12:50 pm, but they refused to sell me a ferry ticket, since they said that the ferry wouldn't arrive until 11:30 am which wasn't two hours before my 12:50pm flight. I told the clerk not to worry that I would still have plenty of time. He still refused to sell me a ticket. I argued with them for five minutes, but they refused to sell me a ferry ticket to the airport. This was definitely a problem, since I had no other way to get to my flight. I was headed back to the US, and I needed to be back the next day, so this was a very stressful situation.
When they couldn't get rid of me, they walked me over to another window and helped me buy a ferry ticket to Hong Kong city and told me to take a cab to the airport once I arrive at the HK ferry terminal. This sounded like a terrible, convoluted idea, but in this situation, I had no choice. To make my flight, everything would have to go just right. I got on a 10:00 am ferry, landed in HK at 11:00 am, got through customs fairly quickly, then jumped in a cab at 11:15 am. The driver told me he could get me to the airport by 11:50 am if traffic wasn't too bad. I was worried about the airline not letting me on the plane if I arrived around noon, since there would only be 50 minutes before flight time. I told the driver to step on it. I wasn't sure I would make it or not, but I was surprised how calmly I was taking all this and how rational I was. I decided there was no point in worrying--either I would make it or I wouldn't. Worrying wouldn't help. As it turned out, the driver let me out at the terminal at 11:55 am, there was no line at the counter, and the airline representative smiled at me, welcomed me and sent me to the gate without any ado.The cab ride cost me 300 HK or about $45 US, but at least I caught my flight.
As you can tell from my previous post, the service from my beautiful girl at Rio was superb. I was so surprised to get such good service from someone so beautiful that I asked the papasan if all the girls gave such good service. He said yes, adding that there was a woman who trained all the girls in how to please a man. This training took place before the girls started work.
I would like to know from other members if they have had uniformly good service from the girls at Rio.
I would like to know from other members if they have had uniformly good service from the girls at Rio.
In the past I have found the girls in Rio to be rather mechanical. Yes, they will lick you all over, give rim jobs etc. but the ones I have done at Rio (probably 4-5 of them) I felt exactly like I was on the receiving end of a well trained program, kind of robotic. Since I like the illusion of a bit more GFE and free flowing session, I actually have much better sessions at the lowered priced places like Golden Sauna, Sanado etc. In my sample (which counts about 50-60 Macau sauna sessions), I actually feel like I get better sessions as well at 18 than at Rio. I have taken Rio off my itenary becuase of this as well as the fact that they are the highest prices sauna in Macau. Just my opinion here, I know guys who have Rio at the top of their list.
Henio,
Thank you for the comment. The service I received from the Rio girl was GFE and was not mechanical. I guess all of them don't do that. Perhaps they all do the same thing per their training, but the feelings and movements are different with each girl.
