I wonder what happens if you don't have your passport with you? I usually forget to carry mine around and leave it in the hotel room. Hmm.

Do you really want to find out?
Unless you have an EU ID card, then carry you passport with you the next time you visit a club.
Cheers,
Dedalus
yes, i could not believe how they scutinized my passport, the second guy was peeling back the corners to see if the photo was inserted. i would advise everyone to carry their passports. and i am none too pleased about having my name on a list now, even though they said it will be shredded after making a call. a call, to whom?

I really don't think that it is anything out of the ordinary. Just a routine control, which every club has to endure from time to time. It is an inconvenience, but in fact it is for our safety.

i never carry my passport, rather a color copy of the first page. i thought that if i was robbed that the color page would provide identification. maybe i am thinking wrong on this one. do you know if anyone didn't have papers what they would have done?

I agree with Dedalus: I don't think this is any kind of Big Deal Raid! It is more or less a gesture by the Polizei to keep the club(s) under control. This was a light raid. They did not descend in SWAT teams from the roofs. I heard they did not search any male guests or look in the lockers for drugs or anything ...Probably would have found lots of blue pills, eh?They just did a routine check. It was over in a couple of hours, I believe? They just want all the clubs to know: Any time, we might come knocking at your door, so keep your house clean and don't make the mistake of Atlantis. Small raids like this keep the management awake and inspire them to treat the flow of girls who work their club with some care and attention.
It will be interesting to see what if any impact this raid has on Palace in the next few days. I will be there tomorrow night, so I'll drop you a note on Sat to let you know if the vibe suffered. Sat night there is supposed be a big X-mas Party event at Palace. Contempraneous with this is Oase with it's reduced Eintritt (35E), and there are a bunch of heavy-duty Internet posters meeting at World and Palace that same night. So there is lots going on in FKKland this weekend.
As for the passport issue: Well, I always carry a small EU ID card...I would not like to carry my Passport unless I lost it. I really do wonder what the Polizei reaction would be to a photocopy of your passport. I mean: they must realise that any logical person might well not wish to carry their passport around whilst FKKing! It is a legitmate thing, ja?
Ortos
It is reasonable to have some form of ID, even if foreign. To expect people to carry passports is unreasonable. There is no law requiring it. I suspect they will ask for some documents that would indicate legal entry into the country, i.e. plane ticket etc.
As for the phone call, I think they will call the immigration office to see if you have valid entry into the country and have not overstayed your visa. When you enter the EU, they scan your passport. So, I think you have nothing to be alarmed of.
Gentlemen,
I was curious to see Palace after the raid and too lazy to train up to World so I went back to Palace Thursday. There was no ill effect, it was dead at 6PM but by 7:30 it was rocking, there was a wait for rooms almost all night. All is well at Palace. >Ortos, this means that I might stay at World with dedalus and fred for the night on Friday. If I do, I will see you at the hotel Saturday morning. But I still may make it to Palace but I am a little tired of it after two days.

I did not think there was a law requiring non-residents to carry their passport, but I am not 100% certain. I always have my US driver's license with me, and perhaps I will now carry a photocopy of my first page of my passport. A plane ticket?? Who would be carrying that around? I would hope that if they were not satisfied with my US driver's license (ID), then they could phone my hotel to confirm where I was staying.
Anyway, I hope I am never there during a raid.
Btw, did the police go thru The Palace and knock on all the room doors to rouse the couples??
in germany there is a law to require all persons to carry there ids, ie. non-residents as well as german or foreign residents. however, there is no severe penalty if you do not have your passport on you. it could cost you a small fine, perhaps 20 euros or so. the only real invonvenience is that the police might arrest you if they have some suspicions about your identity. if so, they will most probably accompany you to your residence or make some phone calls to check your identity. this is not bad, however since it can spoil your night or may cause some unpleasant questions by your possible wife ("where did they get you" or "what the hell were you doing" etc.) it is a good idea to carry your id with you.
there will be no mailings or anything to the states. this did not make me feel better. somehow, i feel that angela merkel and george bush and company will use this information at some point to pressure me into finding another hobby.
don't worry. remember that in germany prostitution is basically a legal business. according to the current law you can even go to court over a dispute with a woman (either she not serving you according to the "contract", or vice versa, you not paying her accordingly). even if the girl is an illegal foreigner you will not get into real trouble, because you are not obliged to check the legality yourself.
the only thing that can get you into real trouble is if you get caught with an obvious **** girl (12yo or so) in an illegal club or in street action. but this is not because of prostitution but because of child abuse. of course, in any legal club like world, palace or even atlantis you will never encounter any of such girls. so there is no reason to be worried about raids as long as you do not carry illegal drugs or so with you.
Gentelmen, been a while since I came back around to the FKK scene. A lot you have posted good reports on the girls but I would like to post one about a screwed up experience with the awful ***** yesterday at Palace.
I wish I remembered her name, but so angry that totally forgot it. Anyways I am sure that she would change it every night. Now this ***** was around 5.10, i think east european definetly. She seemed the next door girl type and so we went along to the room. The bad mistake was not play around first to and to get a feel.
Anyways, as soon as we got in the room she poured some oil on the dick and started with a vigorous hj and light sucking. A minute later tries to upsell to CIM to which i said now and stop so that we can have sex. But this ***** didn't let go and really pressed on hard with the hj to a point where she hurt. I grabbed her hand to release and she still kept on going, the extreme amount of oil and rubbing resulted in an unwanted cum.
Pissed me off as hell and marched her to the management, an aged german lady who listened to both her and me. I think because of the raid the day before she came up with the solution to pay only half. I was not up even for that and said that this hoe is a psycho and needed to barred for the club for the sake of others. In the end was frigging tired with the travelling during the day so just settled it and let it go. The lady mentioned that is she gets another complaint then will take an action to ban.
So, if any one of you does have a bad experience, they should march the hoes off to the management and solve the matter.
Off to World tonight.
By the way does any one have the digs about an Afghan girl calls herself Shireen, black hair with a colored rose tatoo on the side of her belly. Kindda cute but thought she had some attitude.
Happy mongering.

Viagrant, pls keep in mind that your driver license, in EU, IT IS NOT a valid ID document.
It is ONLY a driver license like anyone else.
May I suggest to carry with you always a photocopy of your passport? Also, if you have the paper that the Hotel SHOULD give you when you give them yr ID document, it shold be the best.
:)
Ciao
Yes, a cop went to each room and the couples had to leave and separate into groups. One poor girl had just about completed an hour's session and in the confusion the guy left while she was occupied with the police without paying her. She is such as sweetie, she didn't deserve that. Only one Romanian girl didn't have proper papers.

prostitution is generally tolerated in germany, in brothels and eros centers, unless you pick up someone on the strasse you should not be in trouble. as far as the polizei picking you up for whatever reason, its europe. you do have a lot of surveillance and other things that are constantly in place. its generally a good idea to keep some kind of id on you, a us driver's license isn't going to cut it. i actually thought about moving to the netherlands to open a business, but seeing what europe looks like in the colder months when the tourists aren't here i quickly change my mind, that and the police state like atmosphere. that and i also saw a customer at palace that looked just like adolf hitler.
