a friend of mine has a car and we are talking about getting out of the city and trying to see some countryside. while i keep fantasizing that sex is somehow lurking just around the corner here in taipei, i also have this theory that the further you get from taipei the more relaxed the law gets. so my question is, where can one go to get away from taipei and find some better mongering options? do i have to take the (soon to open) high speed rail to taichung? or should we drive to keelung? i'm still a bit skeptical of finding another macau here, but some place that at least lets me choose would be great. any ideas?

I'm in Taiwan right now too, I plan on checking out Caesars, but I'm still only 20 years old, here with my mom and visiting her relatives. So it's hard for me to get out. What MRT station should I get off at if I want to go to Caesars?
Also, this would be my first time, so is there a big chance of getting anything, aka VD?

J Dawg, highly unlikely that you will catch anything, girls are screened regularly, though of course anything is possible, but almost all the girls will want to cover up for FS, so little worry in all reality.
Been going there for some 6 or 7 years and never had any issue of that nature.
In regard to MRT then get of the brown line at Fuhsing and Nanjing East Road, walk along Nanjing heading east towards Dunhua North Road, it is about a 10 minutes walk at most, building is one the left hand side of nanjing as you come to Dunhua.

ez, you wont find a place in taiwan similar to macau or anywhere else. heading out of taipei does increase the possibilities but also some of the risks as well. having a local from the area concerned who is prepared to show you around and introduce you etc is worth a great deal.
taichung and kaohsiung have a fair bit going on from what i see when i go down, but almost all of it is mafia controlled, and they are not so discreet about dealing with issues there as they are in taipei, local boys in blue are in the pockets.
I went to Caesar's last week and had a reasonably good time. I felt it was run with the usual Taiwanese efficiency and the staff were polite and friendly, though of course it seems everyone with this kind of job is bored. I didn't have much time, and anyway the baths and fit out of the sauna seem a bit run down, though probably no worse than average. The first girl came in and said "may I help you" and I said no, then they sent a second girl. She did seem to take her job seriously, giving me a variety of hot tea blowjobs and even a knee job. Did not seem to be in a hurry and gave a decent regular massage too. Still, I am being generous rating either girl's looks at 7 out of 10. There must have been 40 customers lounging about; I was the only white guy. I've studied Chinese for about a year. NT$4300. While I wish they had a better selection of hotter younger girls, I have to give this place an A for attitude. I just like the idea that you can push that 15 on the elevator and be discreetly whisked up to a brothel in the middle of town.
Question: the massage rooms had a shower. Anyone know if you can just skip the shower and head straight up for a quickie?
EZ, yes you can, but be prepared for a few looks etc from the locals as it becomes all to obvious what you are going for, and believe it or not, the majority of guys going in are not there for the extra services, strange as it may seem.

Thanks a lot Taipei Traveller, also, there are two things that I really want to try, but am of afraid of asking in maybe a girlfriend type relationship. That's why I think that I'd rather p4p these two things.
1) The Backdoor
2) DT
I've read through most of these posts, and I'm guessing that neither of these are offered in Taipei. Do you guys know of any reputable places that do allow these things?
I was actually thinking about going to Wensa Sauna also. Has anyone been to both Caesars and Wensa recently, and can say which they thought was better?
Last thing is, my chinese is alright, I've been studying for about a year and a half, but it's for sure not spectacular. Are there any terms I might need to know, I always hear people say Go to the Lounge(The room with the TV right?) and wait for the mamasan to ask you for a special massage. Would she say it in english, or would it be in Mandarin? I just don't want to miss the opportunity.
Thanks a lot for the help everyone!
I'm in Taiwan right now too, I plan on checking out Caesars, but I'm still only 20 years old, here with my mom and visiting her relatives. So it's hard for me to get out.
You can always just say you're visiting IKEA, or FNAC, which are in the same building. Then slip out, find the elevator, and push the 15. Just "act like you know", maybe discreetly watch the other customers so you can wind your way through the various areas in the sauna. Or tell 'em you're going to see a movie or something. Or a concert or sports event (there's a stadium across the street). Or the zoo, which is on the far end of that brown MRT line you want (as described in TT's instructions).
20, hmmm. Is that old enough to join the army and kill? Old enough to drink or smoke? Old enough to get your wick wet? Old enough to use this web site? Maybe come back in a year. I guess you are from the USA, which is about the only place on the planet that sells even less pussy than Taipei. Ask for #13, she'll show you a good time. Don't pop your clutch too fast, you only get one shot, tell her to go slow. Let us know how it works out.

So there are two things that I want to do, that I'm afraid to do with any girlfriend I might find in my days. I was thinking that paying someone would be the best way to fulfill these desires. These two things are:
1) Backdoor action
2) Deepthroating
I read through most of these posts in this thread, and I'm guessing that neither are really available in Taiwan, but I thought I should at least ask.
Also, I'm thinking about going to Wenhua Sauna, between the two, Wenhua and Caesar's, does anyone have an experience where they thought one was better than the other?
Thanks a lot for your time guys
Also, this would be my first time, so is there a big chance of getting anything, aka VD?
One trick is to drink a bottle of water before you go in, if you time it right you'll take a big [CodeWord140] after you're done, and wash out any cooties.
They do give the odd BBBJ here which I guess could give you the clap.
Anyway, there's a shower in the room, and also on your way out, so just scrub up.

J Dawg55,
Ceasars is in the same building as FNAC bookshop, IKEA, loads of other shops. Just find the main litfs (if you enter through the front door they are slightly to the left) and push 15 floor button (it is not labelled in the lift).
When you arriive the front desk will say hello and give you a key. Leave you shoes with the guy just after the front desk then leave your clothes in the locker.
Go through to the pools and have a relax. When you have enough go to the lounge, take some tea and some papers, find a comfy seat. After a little while a mamam-san will approach you an dask if you want a 'special massage'. Some of them speak English but if they speak Chinese it isn't too hard to understand. If you say yes they take you upstairs through a hidden door to a small room where the girl comes to services you. If you don't like the look of the first girl they send you can ask for another. Also the mamam-sans are quite good if you can describe what you want.
The girls are all very careful so it is unlikely that you will catch anything.
I have been a few times in the last couple of months, the staff are very friendly so just take your time and relax.
There, I've spoiled the suprise for you!
And when you return to your family you can tell them you were so interested in the shopping time just flew by!

Just wondering if anyone is in the city and wants to help show a semi-noob the ropes of taipei, Ive done the Ceasar's thing and ive hobbied in HK, Shenzhen, Korea and Japan but im not very familiar with the action in Taipei. This is strange since I was born here (grew up in the states..). I can speak some chinese but not enough to pass as a local, so I may be of some use to anyone who wants to meet up sometime to hit the streets. Shoot me a PM if your in town. I'll be here until the third.

Thanks a lot for your time guys
Always happy to corrupt another newcomer. Anyone know the Mandarin for those 2 services? I think you can get them, but I don't know where. You can certainly get a hot-tea blowjob though, that is practically de-rigeur here. [BTW in Spanish its "puedo meterlo en el culo" = may I insert it in your ass] With a pro you may as well ask (and pay) but with my girlfriends I just get it good and wet then let my cock ask permission. Brazilian birth control.
A friend who works in the area reports that he sees a lot of dressed to the 9's hotties go into Asia World, but that they go to the 8th floor, not the 15th. TT, anyone, anybody know what's up with the 8th floor? Its not a spa. Probably more expensive, you get what you pay for.
I got a field report from a friend, he has business down south from time to time, says if a single male traveller stays in a hotel, they'll usually just offer you a girl. He said the hotel is $1000 a night, or $500 for 3 hours. The girl, they offered $3000 and he got her for $2500. Vietnamese. I get the feeling this is pretty common, more common the further you get from Taipei.
I read on another site (though this site has the best Taiwan coverage I've yet found) about a guy visiting Jiaoxi (Ilan county) and at a hot spring place they asked him if he needed a girl to help him shower ("pei ni xi"). Of course she helped him with rather more!
All the above sounds good but it seems like unless you know the place you can't just wander from hotel to hotel, from hot spring to hot spring looking waiting for them to offer. (and you'd wait a long time in Taipei).
Also, what's up with those neighborhood bars with darkened windows that "smell of perfume". Maybe you have to speak not just Mandarin but also Taiwanese to work that angle.

I thought that the 8th floor was a spa. I am planning to go to Ceasar's soon so I will look at the directory in the lift.

EZ, there is a Japanese Hostess place in the same building, thought it was on the 7th floor rather than the 8th, but could be wrong on that, but if i was to guess then that is where i would say they are going, and guys, unless you speak mandarin or japanese and prepared to spend a serious sum of money then dont even consider going there.

Just a small note for those of us that use the X-Private sauna from time to time. Was there the other day and was served by an early to mid 20's girl who was very happy to deal with a foreigner, and even seemed to relish the thought.
She was #21 and gave a full service without any of the usual complaints about being to big or any other such bullshit, in fact she was actually asking me for my telephone number for future outside contact. Did not speak any English though.
Just thought i would share this one with you guys.
