Decided that I needed a midweek playday in the zona. Will be in Wednesday evening if anyone wants to have a beer.
Wearing tan shorts and a light blue shirt with tropical print, gringo. Give a shout out if you see me, and we can have a cold one.
Cheers,

I posted new thread for those that are curious about Otay Mesa crossing. Hope it helps. Feel free to add to this.
For all the Asian mongers. I was looking at cumintj's website. There is a girl, Iridia, who only offers anal to Asians. What the hell is she implying. Is this stereotype actually true, or does she think you will be more gentle and nice compared to white and black people. Check it out.

I know when you cross over and immediately run into the yellow shirts and their cabs, they have signs with peso prices to certain neighborhoods and locations. I always walked past them to the McDonalds and would take a Taxi Libre instead. However, a few weekends back, the escort I was with said the yellow cabs were actually the cheapest because their prices were posted. Is this true? I stayed at the Marriott and a yellow cab from the border asked for $10. On the return, I was in a blue and white taxi and he asked for $7. I have always just paid $5 to the Zona but venturing farther afield, it could make a difference of a few bucks so figured I'd ask those more frequent visitors here.

Once you get away from those prices fluctuate depending on your knowledge of the area and local prices. Once you know a few routes then anything else in between or just a little further is just a little more or less. The thing is you won't until you have a few trips under your belt AND your driver may not agree to what you offer regardless if it is the standard price. They can find another sucker.
Revolucion. Plaza Rio 35/40 pesos.
The Alley. Aguas Caliente / Gran Hotel 50/60 pesos.
Hotel Ticuan. Airport 100 pesos (YMMV)
Border. Ticuan $5 US Middle of the night (2am) $7 YMMV at night.
Revolucion. Central Camionera (Main Bus Terminal) Roughly 100mx but can be more if going from Bus Terminal to downtown.
Basically any taxi around town shouldn't cost you more than $10 each way for the furthest distance *applicable to the typical monger. If you start paying for cab rides for chicas and visiting their families etc. The cab fares go way up. I once put a girl in a cab home for $16 one way. That never happened again.
Use my examples as guides only. YMMV
I personally use the Orange/White taxi libre cabs. They seem to have the most competitive pricing.

The yellow taxis operate on a "zone" model. Anywhere to a particular area is a flat fee. So, longer distances may be less expensive, depending on how your bargaining skills are with the taxi libres. Back in the olden days, when the Libres actually used a meter, they were much cheaper. But from the border to Centro or Zona Norte, the Libres are a bit cheaper. 50 pesos (which is a tad more than a local may pay) or $5 for the yellow ones.
If your trips are fairly short, a Libre is more economical, especially if you use pesos and act like you know what you're doing.
The cheapest way is to use the Economicos. Those are the fixed-route vans that wait on the street corners in a queue. The problem is that you need to know where you want to go. But, if you do, it's very inexpensive. You get on, you tell the guy when to stop and you get off. It's something like 10 pesos per person.
FWIW, I've never gone anywhere with a local girl where she didn't try to get a Libre, versus a yellow taxi.

That's why they are stereotypes.

Haha
Thank You Sir. However we are very lucky to have a local on this board to correct any errors. Nice meeting you at HK.
Been reading the post and getting ready for a trip to the zone. Seeing a lot of hot girls and reviews on other websites like cum-in-Tijuana, CL / Backpage, geishasintj, HotTijuana, ect. The girls are hot! HOWEVER. $130 hr? I've been reading 200-250p. What's going on. I get it. 200p is arriba but still 600p for an hour =$50 vs $130. Anyone try both? I'd like to meet some hot girls and I have to say, having the photos of them before hand is pretty hot. How are the SG's comparable? Am I going to be walking around and hot girls everywhere like on the escort sites? I have to say, some of the pictures on here I don't find them to be 10's or even 7's. Maybe looking in the wrong places.
I'm planning on renting the large suite at Cascadas for a week. Anyone going to be around on the 26ht of August?
Thanks Artisttyp and Phordphan for the quick responses.

I saw several of them stop in front of the Wal Mart up the hill from the hotel and drop people off. It did seem more economical as they were all packed full of people but knowing where you were going would need to be a necessity. Thanks again, Burma

As a general rule the Orange and Whites are taxi libres that offer better pricing. From my experience the yellow and black cabs are the ones to avoid. They seem to be privately (?) owned and operated so prices fluctuate all over the place.

I'm planning on renting the large suite at Cascadas for a week. Anyone going to be around on the 26ht of August?
You're conflating many different kinds of girls. Let me help.
1. Alley Girls, aka Street Girls, aka Paraditas. These girls stand along Constitucion and the alley (Callejon Coahuila) and try to attract customers. The standard is roughly $20. This gets you 20 minutes in a shitty hotel (or Cascadas if you pick one on that side of the alley). Usually, it's just pull off the panties and you go at it for 20 minutes. Full nude, CBJ, etc, will cost more. If you like wham-bam-thank-you-ma'am style quickies, this is the best value.
2. Club Girls. These work in a club like HK, or Adelita, etc. The standard rate is $60 for a 1/2 hour session in the attached hotel. The girls may NOT go to other hotels. Lately, the complaint about HK is that the girls are insisting on anywhere from $80 to $120 for a half-hour session.
3. Agency Escorts. These girls work for an agency, like CITJ, HotTJ, MLB, etc. They go from $120 to maybe $150 for an hour at a hotel of your choice. Somewhere between 1/3 and 1/2 of the fee is kept by the agency. I don't do these because I have a sort of philosophical objection to pimps, but to each his own. The agency girls are often better looking than others, but that's very subjective.
4. Independent Escorts. These girls advertise on CL, Backpage, SexyTijuana. Com, etc. Caution. Loads of agencies advertise there, too. The clue is that many of the girls list the same phone number and have a Nextel number, also. Independents will be less money, are generally not clock watchers, and may appeal more to "local" tastes. These girls generally go from 600 pesos to 1200 pesos for an hour. Some for same money, longer time. Some are incall only, others will meet at a hotel. A bit of Spanish will go a long way here.
