What is up with the fighters buzzing us?
What is going on that there are fighter jets buzzing the rooftops in Miraflores?
Yesterday I saw and heard 2 F-16s flying very low over the buildings, plus a C-130 flying low towards the west. Just now another F-16 flew over. This would be a normal day in the states in my town if you added some A-10s, but I haven't seen this before in Lima.
On a totally unrelated note, is the 11pm closing time for bars still in effect in Barranco? I want to check out the Bierhaus and the other clubs this weekend but I don't know if it's worth the bother when the clubs shut down early.
Thanks.
(edit: I'm pretty sure they were F-16s, but today I saw an FA-18 doing loop-de-loops over San Isidro so maybe I was hallucinating the F-16s.)
Credit where Credit is due!
[QUOTE=Suave Gato]I wish I was able to keep my promises to myself. Unfortunately business has left me no opportunities to get back any time soon. Last night I was sitting in a restaurant with my current Novia (how due I say that in Serbian?), I found myself day dreaming about the hundred thousand lovelies that must have been hanging along the Malecon. I hope you guy's enjoyed yourselves!

SG,
Miraflores was hopping with girls until the wee hours of the morning. Traffic was backed up from Larco Mar to the lighthouse as everybody was "rubber necking" the young ladies. Every restaurant was packed and did not take reservations!
I made three trips to Rincon Gaucho to try and get in and finally gave up at Midnight.
Polvo turned me on to another steak place and I finally got a table about 1 am,amazing caudril and baby lamb chops! Thanks polvo.
CatsMeow, had mentioned a good club "Huaringa" in a earlier report and when I went the other night it was packed with women and I will be heading back tonight for sure.
