Want to do some explorations in February?
Hello Shyam, I expect to be in Trivandrum for two weeks in February, starting the 10th. Maybe we could meet there during that time? Cheers.
You have inspired me to drive down to Gods own country on vacation. But I concur that mallu women are riots in bedroom, from what ever little experience I had with them.
EL, I plan to be in Kerala in Feb (mostly end of Feb)
El,
I'm here in the US. And if you know American women. You will understand why I long to visit Kerala. I have just mailed my subscription. Waiting for paid membership. We can monger together if dates coincide. I speak the language too. Thus making it a little easier I guess.
Best
Would be happy to meet you
Yes, I do know American women. I expect to be in Kerala from February 10 to 20) so you know the time frame. We could try exploring the scene in a group if the timing and locations match. Cheers.
You will understand why I long to visit Kerala.
EL, I will get my subscription done this week.
TVM is out of question for me. Other cities are OK. Some kind of tentative schedule will really help me. You know..tickets etc..cheaper when bought in advance. Thanks for your contribution.
Best,
Dave
Clarification on the route
Dear EL
Comprehensive and enticing reports. I however humbly want to point out that most place described in the Part I of the report ie Bekal, Charuvattur, Cannanore etc all appear to be on or along the NH 17. NH 47 is aligned Palghat,Trichur and then on to Cochin. This is my impression from the map study from Google earth. But in your report Part I you have mentioned only NH 47. In the Part four though you mentioned both NH 17 and NH 47 as also an exporessway. I will request for a clarification on the exact route so that we can plan our road journeys accordingly. This is not a criticism but a genuine doubt. So please do not mind.
Overall Impressions
My road trip starting in Hubli, going uphill up to Agumbe Ghats in Karnataka to Shimoga and then going back and forth along the hills gave me quite a first hand view about the truck driver based activity. With the great project to improve India's highways, an offshoot from the famous Golden Quadrilateral, many of the major intercity links are being upgraded. Some of the towns and villages that we visited are not on the direct route any more, even though my friend's business interests took us there. There have been road realignments on NH17 and NH47. However, as people driving between Bombay and Pune would know, there is still is a lot of traffic on the old highway even with the opening of the new expressway.
