Last month, it was a combination sauna/health club. This month, it's a love hotel. As impressive as your portfolio is so far, I think I'll wait until your next fleecing project hits. Wonder what that will be.... hmmm.... why not a franchised model for a multi-city brothel ? If you build it, they will come
Lao Ma,
Your statement has no credibility whatsoever. In any investment it is prudent to have an exit strategy as well as to understand how and why the deal comes together and how the parties interests can be protected.
That all starts with the appropriate disclosure to a qualified party.
With specific reference to a love hotel concept, they can be very profitable if properly run and managed which is why the Japanese love to invest in them.
As that concept relates to the China market, there is a tremendous need for 3 and 4 star hotels in China and there are some excellent in fill opportunities in key markets as well as secondary markets within China. Every real estate transaction stands on its own merits, and is supported by professional due diligence.
Send me a private email and I will send you a confidentiality agreement and then I can disclose to you the particular market, the strategy and you can make an informed decision as to whether or not you wish to proceed.

CS,
Although this is a good ideal as a business opportunity, but I tend to agree with Lao Ma and Erik. This is an open forum, 99% of the members are just a handle on the forum. We do not know each other. How would anyone trust that this offer is genuine? Of course there are some members on ISG whom you may have met and known personally; but in that case, why will you offer such a great business opportunity to all of us who are basically strangers to you? Shouldn’t you be directly offering this opportunity to those you know?
Your statement about Lao Ma's words "Your statement has no credibility whatsoever." my POV: Lao Ma been around ISG long enough and had posted some very good post, to have much more credibility than you who had only joint in Sept this year and has only 6 posts to your account. for those members like me who do not know neither Lao Ma nor you, who do you think we would trust?
Too many unknown, too uncertain, nobody will wants to part with their money like that. Even if the investment cost is only One American Dollar.
However; I still thinks it is a good ideal about Love Hotel though.
Thanks for the offer anyways.
Wish you luck in your venture.
AG
Do you really mean "exit" or "escape" instead ?
Escaping with some other people's money, of course.
Sorry for being sarcastic, but your posts are too similar to many we receive in our e-mail boxes daily.
The best of luck to your project.

.... exit strategy ....
Regardless of what is being presented by whom, there is a process that is involved. With respect to the Love Hotel concept and the presentation of the opportunity here, the other side of that issue is that I have absolutely no idea of the demographics or the metrics of this particular site and how those metrics relate to those demographics. So from that point of view, the presentation of that opportunity is designed to trigger a response from a potentially qualified party.
No one expects solely on the basis of a post to say, "gee that sounds great, here is my $ 100,000.00 where do I send it"? That is not how the process works.
1. If is a person is interested, they respond through a private email message.
2. As a result of that private email message being received, communications between the parties will begin outside of this forum and without having to go through an email filter through this forum.
3. On the basis of private communications between the parties, a confidentiality agreement will be entered into between the parties which will enable appropriate and mutual disclosure to occur.
4. Based on the discussions between the parties appropriate documentation follows.
There is no mystery to the process and that is why comments such as "PT
Barnum" or "escaping with the money" are totally inappropriate, are insulting as well as have no credibility.
Agree with AG and AP - wish you luck ChopSuey, of course. But your lack of business sense is apparent, and my bs meter is flashing at me. You want to throw out a business phrase like "exit strategy", when you are primarily asking for debt, not equity. Debt doesn't care about exit strategy, it cares about loan terms. That kills your street cred - right out of the gate. That you tried to solicit big bucks for another venture less than 60 days ago tells me that you don't know what you are planning to do, all you want is to fish for suckers with money.
Again, good luck with this, and I don't mean to sound like a jerk. But as a businessman, I for the life of me cannot see why you are soliciting for funding on a website for mongers. If you are for real, I suggest you learn a little about the process of raising funds.
You say send you an email and you will allow me to make an informed decision. Dude, my informed decision was made the moment I read your post.
Lao Ma, If you wish to make a decision on an investment opportunity based solely on what you can find on the internet than I suggest you confine your investment activities to that information that pertains solely to public companies or mutual funds, etc. There are plenty of credible web based stock screeners for example where you can plug in your investment criteria and then follow up with a stock broker either in person, over the phone or via the web. I am sure you can find a qualified broker dealer and a registered representative that would be happy to take your order and follow your wishes.
However investing privately requires a different set of analytics and a total picture to make an informed decision. Its not for everybody.
As to why I posted this Love Hotel concept as well as another and presumably a future investment opportunity here, it is for the simple reason that this forum presents an opportunity for both a qualified investor as well as for me to possibly meet and perhaps develop a mutually beneficial long term relationship that would go beyond any one particular investment opportunity.
One of our Chinese attorneys has offered us an opportunity to acquire a "motel" which is currently under construction in a Southeastern Chinese city. It's approximately 40 units. An ideal size for a Love Hotel concept.
We have not yet said yes nor have we done our due diligence on the site or the market or what if any additional licensing requirements we will have to deal with.
However we are aware of the fact that many Japanese investors like the returns not to mention the benefits that come from the ownership and operation of a love hotel.
We can bring in the larger dollars to cover the acquisition, fit out and working capital to bring the deal to the table turnkey. We estimate that our costs inclusive of legal prior to closing will be in the range of $ 100,000.00 and can offer a nice premium for the use of that cash or a portion of it on a proportionate basis.
So if you would like to become involved either as a limited partner or in some other capacity active or passive please send me a private email message and let me know what you can bring to the table and we can discuss the opportunity.
This advertisement is Ifor information purposes only and is not an offering of securities.
Real Life I am a Philippine Based Travel Agent and part owner in 2 Philippine hotels.I have been doing business in China regularly and I personally know many Chinese Hotel Chain owners such as Mitch Presnick who owns Super 8 China,Harry Tan Days Inn China,Wilbert Chang Howard Johnson China etc.All thanks to My Chinese fiance. So I have had many talks with them and somewhat familiar with the process. The regularatory and permit process is such that,You cannot survive openly as a pure lovel motel. You will be shut down Immediately. This may work in Japan But not China,You have to be viable as a motel and look at short term guests as gravy.
Look at the Zhuhai Conference center hotel,The site of the Infamous Japanese Sex orgy.I believe the manager got 8 years for allowing his hotel to be used for a sex orgy.I believe a person who openly runs a love hotel could also face a couple of years as a "guest"of the state.AS A HOTELIER IMHO THIS DOES NOT MAKE SENSE AND IS JUST LIKE INVESTING IN FLORIDA SWAMP LAND OR NIGERIAN BANK DEPOSITS.EVEN IF THE MOTEL IS LEGITEMATE,IT CANNOT BE RUN AS A LOVE HOTEL OPENLY
For most of us who don't even put up the $19.95 per year, you expect more than that from people on this board?
You really are on the wrong board for investment seekers.
Obviously, your prior posts and this post really makes you out to be scammer.
You should be expelled from even making such offers to us.
Bill

Well at least what Cebu had to say made the most sense. Thank you Cebu, I appreciate your feedback. Have a great day!
Guys, don't you wish we have a "spam" button here? LOL

Well... its the Classified Ads thread here... members are allowed to post whatever they think they can pull off in this thread, but it is up to you to believe it. If you get conned by Ads posted in here, you have yourself to blame.
AG
Maybe he truly 'believes' in what he is doing and is not a legitimate spammer/scammer.
But if that is the case, then the only alternative assessment is that he is stupid.
Thanks for the offer, Chopsuey, but you are unfortunately on the wrong board. I suggest a better audience for you might be in the Phils Fight Club thread. It's full of idiotic knobs with nothing better to do and they are certainly of the right intelligence level to proceed with your most generous offer.
But, oh yes, best of British luck old boy!
OK, so the majority consensus is, Chopsuey has a bad business sense, bad idea or has a scam. Of course, sometimes the majority is wrong and he will someday make a lot of money. Maybe in ten years from now there will be chains of successfull love hotels in China, and Chopsuey will say "I told you so".
I also think he is inexperienced and has a pipe dream that goes nowhere, but I have been wrong before. However, I always admire a person who is looking for an opportunity and willing to give it a try.
Anybody have other ideas for investment opportunities in China?
Anybody want to recommend an investment? Stock? Business idea?
For example, the government in Beijing says they want to open hundreds of health clinics around China to combat STDs. Where is that going? Any investment opportunities there? Would the government in Beijing be willing to finance a joint venture to get the job done?
Would a charitable organization such as the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation, or the Bill Clinton Foundation, be willing to help finance a private for profit company that would provide health services? www.clintonfoundation.org
PM me if you have any ideas but prefer not to post on the forum.
