Has anyone stayed at the Swiss Park Hotel near Soi 11 in Sukhumbit Area lately? Is it Girl Friendly? Is their any joiner fees?

Refused as in you tried to guide her and she refused or do you mean she just didn't go near them? :)

Called them today and and asked if it was possible to change my booking with 3 days ahead because the Italian flightcompany decided to cancel my flight (thanks) so I have to take a later plane. I have already paid the room with no option for changes but the girl just smiled (I guess) and sad thats wast just fine and she would change my booking with 3 days ahead.
Sounds like a good hotel and service (or bad economy)..

I think is both.
With the bad economy there are alot of empty rooms in Bangkok.
Most 4 star hotels will allow you to change or cancel room on 72 hr notice.
I hope the price of hotels in Bangkok will drop even more.

I am looking for a cheap yet close to action and GF hotel. I found Unico Leela Hotel on Soi 3 thru my search.
Anybody has any comment on this hotel? Would it be a wrong choice?

Anybody has any comment on this hotel? Would it be a wrong choice?
Here is a link to some cheap hotels around Sukhumvit. Some of them are "short time" hotels. PB Hotel is one of them. Once when I was in BKK with my gf, was able to sneak out to PB with a FL. They have both, long and short time rooms. Short time rooms are well equipped for the short time action. Hope I'm allowed to post this link.

I have always been booking my rooms in Thailand and Asia through http://wired-destinations.com/ , and prices have been great. Service and website too.
Now it seems to me that they are off the market. Does anybody know alternatives or if they are operating under an other name ?

Blu-Express www.blu-express.com
Any own experiences with this company?
Stayed there some years ago when it was still called Leela Inn IIRC; not a bad hotel if you opt for the more expensive rooms; the standard ones are basic. Clean, staff OK, GF at the time. But. Location not so good IMO; on the end of soi 3, and the soi is one-way (or part of it) in the southern direction, towards Sukhumvit rd. And soi 4. That means going back to your hotel by motorised transport can be a hassle; most of the time they would go thru the sidestreet (soi 11) where the shorttime hotels are, and drop you off at the intersection with soi 3, from where it's still a stiff walk back.
