I'm sorry HB, but I totally disagree. You see, that sad past history is DIRECTLY responsible for what Germany strives to be as a nation today. It has some very strict laws around racial discrimination and hate crimes, and I know they are enforced too. That's a direct outcome of what happened in the 20th Century.
And Mr. Dedalus, I have no clue what you're talking about. This is no "stab" at Germany and German people. If anything, it's saying something good about them. The overwhelming majority don't want their country to be what it was, and they strive for something better. I said that the staff at GT treated me exceedingly well. I've been with German girls at other clubs. Why don't you actually READ and consider EXACTLY what I wrote and stop creating stuff that's not there and was not said? Not even insinuated! Nobody needs to force their standards upon Germany. Germany is a LEADER in this. Can we not have an intelligent conversation here?
My point was that given a criminal leadership (the Third Reich) that turned Germany into a pariah nation, and given that I know that Germany has some very strict laws around discrimination, hate, and so on as a result, there is a good chance that there might be something on the books that could come into play when certain establishments don't admit others based on race, ethnicity, etc. No HB, Germany's past history has EVERYTHING to do with what Germany strives to be today in the 21st century today as one of the world's leading nations.
You know, I don't care if you guys are uncomfortable with this discussion. Another monger who is Asian wrote that he didn't have such a "golden" time at Golden Time either. I could feel his hurt, and I felt really, really bad for him. So, I decided to re-post about my own experience. This time with a lot more details. And I don't care if it makes you feel uncomfortable you see. Because in the end, you ultimately don't care that I was in that hostile environment for 6 hours. You don't care that what might happen to others who go there will never happen to you. So, now you can take reading a few posts that make YOU feel uncomfortable. Walk a mile in somebody else's shoes. That's what it usually takes to lead to some good understanding of people who are different from you. And to change.
