Hey man,
Nah, there really isn't much difference between the hotel reservation and phone reservation girls. I think they really manipulate the fact that you can't see them till you booked them, and you really can't be fucked turning them down once you have gotten so far to make reservations and make the effort of going there.
As for 8 mongkok road, I actually hadn't heard much about the the joint. K Pressure has always been the place this hk forum has rambled on about, and I must admit, when you go to Wanchai and when you go to 141, you could say you are taking a gamble on a girl that you really don't know if she will live up to the standards in the bed.
Oh well, maybe if your bored one day, take a ferry over to Macau and check that shit out.
Well, seems like for most hotel and phone reservation types, there's a complete picture (including face) so you know what you're getting physically. Granted, the photos are likely photoshopped.
I think the biggest issue actually is the timing. I've been screwed a couple times on scheduling so take a couple back up numbers just in case. In the end, it sort of makes sense from the girl/operator's point of view since the primary advantage of doing hotel/phone reservation is that you can pack the schedule as tightly as possible (plus, maybe the girls that do hotel reservation don't have permission to stay in HK long term? ). When you think about it. They gotta pay for hotel (no idea what San Diego charges. Guess 2000-3000 HKD per night? ). This is compared to a 141 girl who will pay max 10, 000HKD per month. But the 141 girl doesn't need to completely fill her schedule due to her lower cost basis.
On a separate note. Had some questions on the KTV/bar scene here in HK. I've read a few reports on places in TST East (Paris, forgot the name of the other one. China? ). Any info on the "local" bars that can be found in Jordan/TST/some in Causeway Bay/Wanchai? See a ton of these places. Usually with a darkened window with nice signage on the outside (ie. Pretty neon signboard). Only stepped inside one of these places once. And gave me the feeling that it was a mafia-run sort of place. Or maybe I've just watched too many campy HK movies. Any good "legit/safe" KTV places to go to on HK Island side?
