If you speak like that to members you don't deserve any help or advice!
Really! Oh please Mr Bumholes1. Please teach me how to speak to someone who totally ignores a request.
As I clearly stated in my post that you quote. If a member does not want to give out info or advice. Their choice!

I won't hold that against anyone. But to ignore someone's request is just plain, being an "arsehole"
But as your screename shows you are pretty used to that huh!
Ciao
7 posts with only requests and insults. Who do you think you are? You deserve to be ignored and are from now on my such list.
Probably Jackson should even delete your attacks.

Cheers
I would like to thank the gents that responded to my asking for info about BJ places in Patts, especially to someone lik me with almost no posts. I m still in Bnagkok atm but have plenty of time to go down to Pattaya. I will send a field report about my shenanigans this weekend.
Cheers,

Probably Jackson should even delete your attacks.
I'm very sorry Mr Senior member Tiger 888. But let's look at the facts.
1. I only made 1 request. Not requests. Hardly a hanging offence!
2. I believe my "insult" singular was appropriate. Re the action or inaction in this case of the offending member.
3. I wasn't aware that there was a quota of posts required before one could: "Request or Insult". If so please advice. Or I'm sorry it seems I don't have enough posts to request this!
4. Delete my attacks! Bit of a drama queen aren't we. My posts hardly constitute "attacks". Just my tame opinion on the behaviour of a particular member.
I thought this was a forum to exchange information; advice and suchlike!
Being a senior member does not afford you any rights over me. I probably have more experience in mongering worldwide then you will ever have.
Have a nice day!
The other night I was perusing Walking Street about 3am when I decided to head to Mixx. I went to my bike, which was parked in front of Bamboo. I made a right down Second Road and a little past Marine I looked at a chick standing alone on the corner who was looking back at me. I turned my bike around to talk to her. She said I am here looking for work. Massage Boom-Boom 700 baht. I asked for how long? She said okay 500 baht. I said yes but for how much time? She said up to you. I gave her the helmet and told her to get on. Great experience. When she finally left she didn't ask for any of that bs taxi money or anything. She was happy with the 500 that we agreed upon.
Nice. Do you take them to your home or do you find a nearby ST hotel?

This is a fact too.
I think the picture is pretty much clear.
Eh? You never left your documents behind sometime? I did, now I hope that doesn't make me a deviant person, hahaha.
If he had said "my money inside bike" they would have opened the seat for him. They are jerks but not sadics.
The rest is standard operating procedure. Do not think legality or anything Western styled. If one has the D / L they may have keep it, since he did not, the went for keys. By the way I left an expired D / L to them a week ago, just for the thrill of not paying Bt. 400. Then after 3 minutes I got pulled over again, showed the fresh ticket, and let go. Keep your helmet on and D / L when driving in Pattaya.
I was pulled over in the same place and had to show my licence. BUT, my UK licence didn't have a motorbike symbol on the back, so I got the 400Bht fine. The police have been happy with my licence every other time. I've debated this elsewhere and I guess the police were within their rights but I still felt a little pissed off.

The police have been happy with my licence every other time. I've debated this elsewhere and I guess the police were within their rights but I still felt a little pissed off.
Police's attitude in Thailand, especially toward foreigners, is one of the most debated subjects.
My experience over the years, is that when they're are out to give fines, they will give them when they are due, to both Thai and foreigners equally. That happens especially and regularly in Pattaya and Phuket, after few days one gets to know exactly were they stand and at which times, altough there can be always the occasional surpise.
Other than that, one may meet the stray cop out for a good hit, but generally speaking I found them to be reasonably fair. I got stopped yesterday in Patpong BKK, they were especially looking for DUIs. They use first an hand-held device with green / yellow / red leds. Despite the contrary advice from a supposedly experienced lawyer, I got convinced by the Thai GF to blow in the portable ethilometer that comes with disposable spouts. The machine proved to be accurate, indicating 15 mg / l, for the one large beer I had. Limit is 50, so that was ok. Had I refused to be tested, I was given the alternative to brige 2000 to be let go. On the other hand I know there have been cases where they took no bribe and went with full extent of law against intoxicated drivers.

is not one mans dues as good as another?
when you say dues, do you mean a subscription fee? if so pattsboy has not paid that which is why he is a regular member. if not then what do you mean? but really this is not about membership standing, it's about how one conducts himself on the forum and whether he abides by the rules of jackson's site.
When you say dues, do you mean a subscription fee? If so Pattsboy has not paid that which is why he is a regular member.
Being a regular member has nothing to do with paying to be a subscriber. It is a certain number of posts that elevates you from being a regular member to being a senior member.
"Senior Members are former Regular Members who have been members for at least 6 months and have made 25 or more contributions to The Forum. Senior Member's reports are temporarily held until they are reviewed by a Forum Moderator."
