Hey don't apologise. I agree with you. Pay what you want, and what you think they deserve. What some guys seem to forget is that these girls are human too and most are really nice.
I get pretty sick of the losers on the site that contantly argue about how little they should pay, how they can save 100baht on their taxi etc. Stay in your own trailer park back home and leave the fun to us.
These debates go nowhere. I've seen it a hundred times here. Boring!
JohnTheScot
I too have been sick and tired of listening to the whining by the bargain hunters. The reality is that is takes so little for us to be reasonable with these girls, they will give you 10 fold for your generosity, and you get pleasure without being exploitive. Really, if you cannot afford a little generosity with these girls, stay home.
Hello, dear forumers,
I am not a total newbie in Bangkok go-gos and I would describe myself as an ordinary mainstream tourist visitor to places like Nana or Cowboy when visiting Bangkok. My favorite bars have been Rainbow 4 and Baccara and this hadn't changed for the past 4 times I visited BKK. I. E. I enjoy big places with lots and lots of girls among whom you'll always find a few super-hot ones or at least this was the case with me and my taste. But could anyone recommend what other bars in Nana or Cowboy are definitely worth to check out? My taste is for younger and slim girls and I admittedly tend to have a very strict evaluation when it comes to appearance (especially body proportions and slimness but face as well). I have been to a few other bars in Nana and Cowboy but none had what I could go for and usually were too small, empty and no pretty girls. Therefore I never really bothered to check everything because I assumed that most of them are like that. Also, price is not an issue. I am ready to pay the Rainbow 4 / Baccara price as long as I get a girl that I like. So what could be the best options for a change besides Rainbow and Baccara? Thanks to anyone who could drop a line or two.
Give me some tips on how to book flights on Air Asia from the states. I've tried with a CC many times but transaction never goes through. What am I doing wrong. Thanks
Have you checked with your credit card company to see if they are blocking the transaction for your protection?

Thanks
Depends on which card you are using. When I tried using my Mastercard debit card last week to book BKK Chiang Mai (1, 649 baht round trip) it would not go through. It was saying I needed some kind of security code. Then when I called HSBC to get one of those codes their computers were down. So I used my Visa debit card from my other bank instead and it went right through. A couple of days before that I used a Visa credit card for BKK Phuket (4, 226 baht round trip) and it worked as well.

Good luck!
Air Asia? What's your itinerary?
Air Asia's Cheap and uncomfortable, there might be other much better Airlines.
I have mostly flown Air Asia between CRK and KUL and my experience with them has actually been quite good. My recommendation would be to pay extra at the time of booking for exit row, meal, travel kit and luggage if necessary, it is really not much and makes a big difference. Most notably every time I have been alone in the exit row and was able to sleep on 3 seats. I have also had the issue of having my credit card company block the transaction, which was resolved either by using a different card or a phone call to the cc company.
So what could be the best options for a change besides Rainbow and Baccara?
I too am very particular about looks, and willing to shop for the hottest go-go girls. No disrespect to other gentlemen, who place more emphasis on other qualities. I just like young slim stunners.
Let's face it, these girls are in short supply. And the go-go scene is constantly changing. So there's really no substitute for keeping up here on a daily basis to get the latest information. And when you go out, it's important to make the rounds. A club that's dead this week might have half a dozen cuties next week.
That said, consider checking out Mandarin in the Nana Entertainment Plaza. Recently the selection there has been pretty good. Note Well: Mandarin is two bars in one. Part of the club is on the second floor. This is more like a conventional go-go. Mandarin also has a location on the third floor. There is a stairway just to the left of the second floor entrance. The third floor set up is a little darker and a little smaller. I rather like it.

Thanks to anyone who could drop a line or two.
I have a similar M. O. Just limited time there (usually just 3 days or so) and not enough time to experience every bar. So in Nana, I'll go in there with the plan of visiting at least one or 2 other bars before going into Rainbow 4. I wander around, pick a bar and step inside and try to gauge my gut feeling based on what I can see from the entrance, whether it's promising or not. If it seems promising (active, lots of girls, cute ones immediately visible) then I'll sit down and order a beer. If it doesn't, I just chalk it down as one off the list. Things do change, so what once was a bar that seemed worth a visit (Hollywood on top floor for example) can turn out to be lousy your next visit, or even closed. (and I heard that one did just close) Once when I did this, trying another bar Inormally wouldn't go to, I sat down in Playskool one night a few years back (or was it Rainbow 1?) and spotted the most beautiful girl I've seen in any of these bars ever. Totally the type you describe. Tall, delicately thin, Vogue-model face, just beyond what I ever would have hoped to spot in a gogo. So. I say definitely worth it to explore a bit more. (the rest of the lineup in her bar was totally standard, she was it.) So since then, I always try to spread the net wide rather than just target one bar that seems to have the best prospects, on paper at least.
Anyway, I hear that in Nana other Rainbow bars are also pretty good now. DC-10 got some good writeups. Angelwitch is another some people are loyal to. I always try to check out the Rainbows and Playskool when I'm at Nana, might go into a few others like Mandarin. I've never seen anything interesting in the bars on the left side of the ground level. I presume you steer clear of the back on 2nd floor. ;) But things change, so best to at least take a look at as many places as you can. It doesn't take long, and there's no rule you have to stay in a place once you go inside. Most bars you'll probably end up skipping anyway.

All this because AirAsia and most of the airlines there use some sort of additional security for cc payments on the web. In addition to the 3 digit code that shows that you have the card at hand.
In the case of HSBC, it requires you in most countries to register a phone number prior to use your cc online. When you log in and attempt to pay, they will direct you to a webpage hosted by HSBC where you have to enter the security code (8 digits) received by sms on your phone. In 99% of the cases, even if you are roaming, the sms arrives on the spot. Happened to me once that it did not.
Other banks ask for your birth date, for instance.
I don't monger in TH, so try to compensate with help LOL.
Have fun
went to eden as reported in the massage parlor section. then to nep around 9:30pm, specifically to sample rainbow4 since i read good things about it here. definitely one of the nicer places at nep, with tons of girls on two stages, many of whom are attractive. tomorrow the plan includes mandarin and angelwitch, for comparison purposes. besides the many girls there is also a ton of mongers, so my advice is to get there early and decide fast because the pretty ones don't stay long. none of the girls i liked made eye contact with me and i did not care for the ones who did, so moved on to my old favorite soi cowboy.
first went to afterskool to see what was going on there, about a dozen girls, half sitting on top of mongers, apparently teaching the brothers how to grab both tits and ass and dfk at the same time, all while having a beer. i did not find the girls very pretty though. went across the street to toy, where i was one of 3 customers. the 2 girls on stage were butt ugly but one was from time to time getting her nipples sucked by by neighbor at the bar, who appeared to fancy her a lot. i did not see anyone giving bjs in either place, though i do not doubt it may occasionally happen. a kind of cute 18 yo was introduced to me by the mamasan, i bought her a drink, which lasted about 30 seconds and then she wanted another one. nice meeting you, bye.
on to baccara where my favorite was not in tonight, or had already left. same story only this time the lady's tequila shot lasted only 3 seconds, same thing for the second shot, smelled gold digger to me, i passed and moved on next door to shark. my cutie of 2 nights ago had already left, my fault for getting there after midnight, ended up at suzie wong.
mamasan (i think it is really a crossdressing papasan) recognized me from yesterday, came to sit with me, lamented the late hour and poor choice of girls, advised me to come at 8pm tomorrow, all the best girls are gone after midnight. since i was the only customer at 2am all 5 girls on stage competed for my attention, i bought 2 of them a drink, had a good time watching them compete, grab my breast, i kiss better than her and so on. in the end i left with the one he / she recommended (the other girl was completely drunk anyway). did not quite get her name, was supposed to be 18 but i don't think so. for one thing she has a kid and i later found out her pussy is about the width of lincoln tunnel and smells. i am not a big fan of smelly tunnels so we parted ways quickly. i am not happy mama / papasan did not advise me against this girl, in his hurry to send me away with a lady and get a tip. too bad, no more tips and no more drinks. by the way i saw him / her peeking at my dick in the bathroom, pervert! be careful guys.
Air Asia has a big problem with US issued credit cards when booking online. You will need to call them (I call them in Spore as their english is better than some other countries) and they will take your CC over the phone. But as of now, I have never been able to use my USA based cc on air Asia when booking online.

I used have this problem with Tiger Airways, but it is now ok, too. All my credit cards are US based. Try calling your credit card about this problem, also enroll in the visa / master charge verification systems. Hope this helps. But I hate the convenience fee that Air Asia charges for using credit cards.
I also haven't had problems booking with my Visa-logo debit card (Wachovia bank) number 4228 3574 4462 1817 expiration 01/14.
OK just kidding about that last part. ;)
Its 02/13. ;)
Seriously, I can use my card on AA without problems; seems like it depends on some factors we're not sure about.
Just going by what's up here, it differs for different card issuers.
p.s. Strange, it seems as if attempts to type a winking smiley face result in an extra period/full stop instead when a message gets posted to the forum. Whats up with that. I had to go back into Edit to fix them, and was able to fix it. Strange.

That's one of the numerous problems that we are facing here since the software upgrade: the current setting of the automatic-editing program could be improved a lot, as it seems.
I wrote something some time ago about the fact that (fortunately) the automatic editing is processed only on the initial submission, and not on edited versions: http://www.internationalsexguide.info/forum/showthread.php?2677-Bangkok-Reports&p=1111665#post1111665
