1st Visit to PTY - Day One
I'll try not to repeat the otherwise good information already posted on this forum. For the record, I'm a pentagenarian and at that stage in life where comfort is worth more than a few extra dollars. I work hard, earn a much-higher than average living and don't mind spending a few extra bucks if I don't think I'm getting ripped. I also tend to tip much better than most - probably because I usually feel they need the few dollars more than I do. When I'm visiting 3rd world countries and my wife or I want something it's not uncommon for me to negotiate a price down then give them their original asking price. After all, it's all about the journey. If my vacations cost several hundred dollars more in the end, so what? Those of you who don't understand this will likely be there one day as your mortgage gets paid off and you begin making more money. And at my age with no chemical suport from the various vitamins V, C or L it's certainly more about the quality than the quantity. Also typical of my age group that young studs & wannabe studs don't understand - only about 25% of the quality comes from the looks of the gal. The significant majority comes from that indefinable chemistry, attitude, the smile and of course the performance. So once back at the room about all that's left to confirm is the performance.
Got off the plane and stopped at a duty free store before immigration & bought a $4 bottle of Aguardiente based on the recommendations in this forum. Not used to buying from duty free when entering the country. The gal told me it was the best. I had already brought a 1.75 L bottle of Jack (hey - it was only $5 more than a 1 L bottle). Arrived at immigration & thanks to this forum I knew to get my tourist chit before I got in line. No office or window - just a guy standing at a small podium with no sign. Made it through passport control & immigration with no problem. Arrived at the PTY Marriott about 7:30 Saturday night. Got a complementary upgrade to a suite (600-700 sq ft). Went to the Concierge room & got a bite to eat (no charge, of course) & hoarded about 8 - 10 soft drinks to put in the mini fridge in my room. That's why I love the Marriotts - excellent service & good value. The room was only $110.
Walked to the lobby expecting a connect to the casino. Didn't see it so I walked out the main door. I was surprised that Habanos was right across the street (a small 2-lane road) - within throwing distance. Don't know why but I had expected more of a walk and more of a search. Anyway, decided to turn right and found the casino a few hundred feet down the sidewalk. Nice **little** casino - maybe 5000 sq ft. Settled at a $2 blackjack table and relaxed for an hour and a half or so playing with $5 & $10 at a time; looked like I was the big spender in the area. In the end I droped just a little and had a few beers. Seemed I was the only person that tipped the gal that brought the drinks. I didn't see any obvious working girls but I suspect that was simply because my radar wasn't yet tuned. There were several girls playing the slots & the board games, usually with a female friend. Two such groups played at my table, usually betting the minimum. They also didn't seem to know squat about how to play. Most were not dressed suggestively at all - I guess that's why my radar didn't score a hit, although one of the gals did keep smiling at me. The question I had at the time is - assuming I had an interest in her - where to go from here? She's a seat or two removed - how exactly is that segeway [sp?] made? Anyway, she didn't fluff my skirt so it didn't matter, though I did see one over at the roulette table that was very intriguing.
Headed over to Habanos about 10 & was surprised at how small it was. Quite unimpressive, really. Ordered a beer for next-to-nothing and just chilled for a few minutes. There was a group of 4 guys at the table next to me smoking cubans. They were young & I couldn't help but wonder how many were going to get sick later. Ten minutes goes by & I essentially ignore the handful of gals mostly standing in the shadows. Then Mariana introduces hereself. Don't know why, but I just liked her. 25 y/o, large natural jugs and she spoke MUCH better english than my spanish. Bought her a drink ($1 juice), we chat a bit & head back to the room. Concierge downstairs copies her ID. She's from Medellin Colombia. [excuse my ignorance.....I didn't know until talking with her it's pronounced med - i - gene] Anyway, up to the room & she's mesmerized with the suite & can't help but ask how much. BTW - starting price for her was $100 & I countered with $70. We never really settled before heading to the room.
Got to the room & I took a few pics & offered her a drink. She said the Aguardiente I bought was crap! And that it would give you a headache in the morning because it was Panamanian & not Colombian. Then we hopped in the shower together. Bottom line - she was a lot of fun but wouldn't go for bbbj, just cbj. We went for about 30 minutes or so & then I brought out a pocket rocket from my suitcase. I brought 6 on this trip of 10 nights. Based on how she received it I suspect I brought at least 4 too few. They cost about $8 & are about the size of your thumb. Fired it up & she went wild. Finished & cleaned up and went in the living room. Sitting next to her, playing with those huge titties and next thing you know we're at it again. Had a great time though her experience level wasn't the highest. Maybe that's a good thing. She's a student & manicurist/pedicurist & only does this occasionally (she says). She gave me her number & e-mail & I promised to send her copies of the photos.
Unfortunately I'll have to blur the face on this one but I can tell you she's very, very pretty (at least to my old eyes). I'll upload the photos in the photo section on my way out of PTY.
That takes care of day one. Three more nights in PTY then four in CTG then two in SJO.
Following are a few pics of the hotel room [nothing nekkid].
