Gaundong Victory Hotel's Victory Sauna
I appreciate what I've learned from this thread.
Thought that I'd post my first post.
I milled around the Gaundong Victory Hotel until I found the Victory sauna. Only to discover that it is under "decorations" according to the front counter. She really meant to say renovations. : (
The concierge steered me towards another place along the same North Shamian Street. He said that that one was more "professional".
I got there and it looked like a legitimate foot massage place, there was a giant 6 foot outdoor poster of a Halite foot bath, and some choices of sandwiches. The neon sign above said Foot Massage Science. It was right next door to a place that plastered the pictures of its 12 legitimate Chinese Medicine doctors. That place looked too "professional" when normally I prefer my girls sleazy and ****ty.
I stayed at this hotel last year - in the 2. building (annex).
I noticed they have a massage centre in the basement of the main building.
However I did not have enough time to check it out.
I did notice the area was very quiet in the evening - no action to be seen.
