Tijuana noob
Heya. I'm a west coast USA based mongerer who has been at for several years mostly in Europe and Asia. My primary spots are german FKKs and Thailand. Either Bangkok or Pattaya. But I've mongered in Spain, Singapore, China, S. Korea, and a few other places. Oddly enough in all my years, I've never been to Tijuana! I'm due for a virgin trip, and I'll be headed down there this coming Sunday for 2 evenings. I would book longer if I was going somewhere I'm experienced with, but figured 2 days would be enough to get a taste of the basic scene. HK, Adelitas, in-call escorts, street girls. To see if it's a destination I want to add to my rotation. I've banged a few latinas in the past in Europe, but never been somewhere that they are the majority, but I'm excited to see how things shake out.
I've done my homework. Read up on the main club threads, this thread, and many of the other threads to get the lay of the land, etc. I'm going to take a divided approach and have booked a sleeping / escort room at Ticuan, and will get a room at Cascadas for HK / SG action, taking advantage of the VIP card discount. I plan on bringing down some USD cash, as well as getting pesos when I cross the border, so I'll have a mix of cash types depending on the situation. I fly in to SD airport and will take the 992/ trolley to the border. I've got my passport and I have Global Entry, so I'm not too worried about getting in / out of the country. I've read the long discussions about negotiation, not taking the first girl (learned that in FKKs and GoGos LOL), etc. And I'm experienced at gauging ladies for their attitude, but no method is perfect. My success rate lately has been high in my current activities, but I'm familiar with the game in those locales, so in some ways I'm looking forward to learning the game here.
I really only have one question that I haven't read one or more opinions on. Is it safe to walk from the HK / Adelitas area to and from Ticuan hotel, or should I get a taxi? Safe anytime, sometimes, or never? I'm street smart. Have wandered shady areas in cities all over the world pursuing this hobby, but don't want to put too much at risk. I don't plan on drinking to extreme, but I will likely have a few drinks, but will always have my wits about me. One of the reasons I like Pattaya is that I've never felt unsafe there as long as I keep respectful, but I know that Tijuana and even parts of Mexico (and places in the US, not being biased) can be rougher and you need to constantly check your six.
Anyway, just wanted to thank everyone for all the useful information posted that has made my maiden trip a reality by educating me, and asking this one simple question.
Cheers,
FoF.
Take a taxi at night, it's only $5 bucks and you'll be fine.
Yes, you could walk it easily during the day and evening on Revoucion without any problems, but if you're new to Tijuana just get a taxi when it's late.
Have fun.

Have fun.
At night, use only a taxi. Avenida Revolucion is safe during the day. Only this part of the city from Tijuana Arch at Av. Revolucion towards Adelita / Hong Kong (about 10 min. Walk) is safe but a bit more neglected. On Av. Revolucion number 1059 is known restaurant "Caesar's" (caesar's salad). You can also buy the original Cuban cigars in "Casa del Habano" Av. Revolucion number 1115. Have fun!

Strip Clubs.
Are there any good strip clubs in Tijuana other than HK? Some with decent girls and where you can still get a lap dance? I love HK and the ladies, but I'm taking some friends over and some are not willing to take the girls "upstairs".
Thanks in advance.
I fail to see the connection between criminalizing prostitution and #MeToo movement. I believe we should have safe, legal and regulated sex work. And I also believe there should be negative consequences for dudes who decide to jerk off in front of their co-workers. Those two things aren't mutually exclusive.
The article in New York Times is interesting because I suppose that if prostitution was legal in the US, these 201 men would never be sexually assaulted women in the workplace and still have careers. A lot of these men were very talented. They could go very discreetly to a legal brothel, club, massage place, escort place or call escort and pay for their sexual fantasies with beautiful, professional girls from sex work business much more attractive than women at work. Unfortunately this was not possible because prostitution in US is illegal.
Just got back from Tijuana, I stayed at HK but on the way home about a block away from HK I got pulled over by the cops and they took $350 from me and my cousins. They threw me in the cop car said they smelled alcohol and than asked us to pay a fine.
I love Tijuana but kinda skeptical to go back, guys be careful if you drive your own car over the boarder.
Curious what kind of car you drove down there? The other night I saw a Maserati get pulled over right across the street from HK. They made him pop the trunk and everything, so I'm sure he was going to get shaken down.

Lap dances.
You can have lap dances with HK girls and don't have to take them upstairs. But HK lap dances are kind of expensive, $21 for 3 songs, in the tiny cubicles inside Miami.
You can buy the chicas a $9 ficha in the club and get the same 15-20 minute lap dance in public. Take the girls to the couches on 2nd and 3rd floor where there is some privacy and not too many guy gawking hehe.
Order Azul's dinners with the 2-4-1 coupon and the chicas will linvite their friends over to hang out for an hour.

New FMM 6 month cost.
Yesterday I paid 558 pesos for the 6 month FMM. The female agent asked me why do I need a FMM for 6 months. I replied, "I hate waiting in line. " The conversation stopped at that point!

Need advice on hotels.
Hi,
I couldn't seem to find a forum for hotels so I am posting here. I plan to see a woman I found on a SB website for a few days in Tijuana but can't seem to find a decent hotel near the Rio or Centro districts where she advised me to look. I have travelled extensively around the world and have never seen such bad hotel reviews, even for $150/ night hotels! Noise, filth, bedbugs, lack of hot water, padding the bill, nasty service etc. Etc. This is just weird. Could anyone please advise me of a good clean and safe hotel which costs less than $100/ night? Thank you.

My dad is from Mexico I talked to him about and he said he was embarrassed and it happens all the time unfortunately.
What does FMM mean?
It's like a Visa. You can get a 7 days or less for free, but I travel there a lot, so I pay for the 6 month FMM. It is required to enter Mexico.
