Ok down to it then. I'm comeing to sousa Dec 4th. How is it since the storm. Also where would one stay condo wise chica friendly. And I'm looking for club residential style with newgarden openess. Tell me if possible. Bridgetts villa is how far from Sousa.
CC
The villas and apartments are 2 miles away from the action, I rent everytime a car - they don't let moto chonchos in. Anyway, for me it's very importent to stay in a secured place - I don't like when some chicas bang at night at my door. You don't hear the annoying traffic noise, only the chrushing sound of the ocean.
One time I went with my chica at night to the private beach, layed back and received a nice BJ while watching the stars.

CC
Just got back from Bridgette Villas, it is a wonderful place. It is also to be respected. It also serves as a buisiness and residence. New Garden is the Black Beards of Sosua, when I'm on a budget thats my spot. Residential is a step up from New Garden without the traffic. If you want 2 or three girls a day B. V. Is not the spot stay in Sosua.
Thanks for the responses. I am leaning towards Rocky's from Jan 10-17 then maybe BB's from the 17-21. Any other ISG members in Sosua then? Send me a PM or post here. If possible I invite any member to meet me for a drink.
I am booked. Jan 10-17 at Rocky's in Sosua. Then the decision is whether to stay in Sosua 17-21 or go to Blackbeard's in Puerto Plata for 4 days or something else.
(Warning – this is a harrowing travel story in my route to a monger destination) (Chica stories will follow, promise)
I’m scheduled for 7 days in Puerto Plata / Sosua 12/16 – 12/23 and I’m very excited. This will be my first visit to the DR. I have been devouring the information on these boards the last 2 weeks. Today I wake up at 3:10am so I can depart by 3:30am (already packed) for a 2. 5 hours drive to make it to the Newark, NJ airport by 6am (flight is 8am). I leave my house at 3:40am (10 minutes late) and believe I’m still in good shape. I’m cruising along very good on 295-North in New Jersey when all the sudden it turns into I95-South to Philadelphia without any clear explanation. I U-turn for the exit and circle back to see what I missed and I verify my choices are I can take either 295-South or I-95 South. WTF. Remind me to thank NJDOT for this tar and concrete blackhole which is 295 North. After a few U-turns and speaking with a gasoline attendant, I finally realize I must backtrack down 295-South to get onto the New Jersey turnpike. I find NJTP and I’m back on track for a 6:40am arrival to offsite-parking. Ok. Let’s hope there are no big lines and no problems. Let’s be positive. Every 10 minutes I cycle through worrying and then comforting myself. Next issue is that it has been snowing in north NJ and there is now 2-3 inches of slush on the roads. As I go from exit 8 to exit 13, traffic slows down from 65mph to 40mph. Yikes! Well. Still moving. Let’s be positive. Ok, make it to Exit 13 and I most bone-headedly take Exit 13 and not Exit 13a as it says on my directions. Doh!
Toll-booth-man does not allow me to U-turn here to get to 13A and he gives me some semi-clear directions about navigating through Elizabeth, NJ to the airport. Fortunately there are clear signs with Newark Airport in view in this part of town and I navigate my way towards the airport. Now, I have no idea of how to find my Park2Fly location. Ah hah, I see ABC parking and figure that will do. I pull in there at 7am and quickly catch a shuttle over to the airport. The roads are pretty bad, now 4-5 inches of slush in some areas. At NJ airport, I hop out of shuttle and hurry to Continental’s international counter. Thankfully the line there moved very quickly and I get to an agent. Then to find that they can’t find my reservation. WTF. I check my reservation and I’m flying American, not Continental, which is in terminal A, not terminal C that I am in now. OK, my bad this time. It is 7:15am. Catching my 8am flight is looking dismal. I bust a move on over to Terminal A and there is a huge line at American. However, I scope out hardly any line at the self-checkin kiosks. I walk over and am directed right up front to an open kiosk. I swipe my passport through and it rejects me. Attendant tells me I did not meet the 40-minute pre-checkin requirement. I stare down at my watch and it is 7:22am. Double Frak, 38 minutes, just 2 minutes short. Well, someone’s got a heart. The female reservation agent must sense the holiday season and decides to do an override and let’s me on this flight after a short lecture arriving early for international flights. Ok, 7:25am and I’m head to gate 33A. Ooops. Forgot about the TSA screening before the gates. Two lines to choose from and I pick the slowest one. The line is going ubber-slow, handicapped people are being moved to the front of the line and at 7:42am I tell one of the TSA guys that I need help. He bumps me to the front of the line and by 7:46am I am through TSA screening.
I go off dashing for gate 33A like OJ Simpson (remember those Hertz commercials? ) thinking they may have already closed the doors at the gate. Luckily, they are only mid-way through seating the flight and I get in line with a few minutes to spare. I can’t believe I’m gonna make this flight. Have a slight urge to go to the men’s room but there is no way I’m stepping out of line. I can go once I’m seated on the plane. Ahhh. Made it. At last. But wait, this is just my flight to San Juan, Puerto Rico. Due to some delays at Newark and the plane requiring de-icing of the wings prior to take off, the flight leaves 45 minutes late. My layover time in San Juan between connecting flights is 45 minutes. Uh oh. My flight lands in PR at 1:25, I deplane at 1:35pm and my connecting flight leaves at 1:40pm. Uggh. Upon landing they tell us that an agent will be waiting outside the flight with connecting information. When I get off the plane to meet the agent, she already has a new boarding pass for me, the same flight, THE NEXT DAY. She says that I can go to gate 1B if I want to see if I can still make my original flight. I take off down the corridor with backpack and laptop in hand. Gate 1B is not that close but I manage to make it there right about 1:40pm. Display at 1B gate says flight is on time. I ask the agent about the flight and she says there is a maintenance delay and I will be able to get on. Yeah, shewww. I continue to walk around a little to cool down from my 2-minute sprint. About 2:15pm they post a new time of 3:25 for the flight to Puerto Plata (POP). Cool, got some time to eat so I go get a bite of pizza and a coke and do some reading. Then 2:45pm comes and they annouce flight has been cancelled. I ask gate agent and they tell me I will be rerouted through Santo Domingo, possibly Santiago.
After sitting around the San Juan airport until 4pm, I get called to the desk and get a ticket on 5pm flight to Santiago. Will my bags make it? "Your bags are going to go to Puerto Plata". Great! At 4:40pm rolls around we board the flight and they (they being American Eagle) tell us that our bags will go to Santiago, just not on the same flight. Ok, I have an uneventful, mostly on-time flight to Santiago, DR with no bag. I get through immigration and get to baggage clain at 7pm. AA baggage reps tell us another flight will arrive at 7:45pm will our baggage. 8:00pm and no plane. Agent tells us the plane was in route, but it turned around and went back to San Juan for an unknown reason (perhaps it never actually left San Juan). She advices us to file a claim for our luggage and call tomorrow (Monday) morning to request it to be delivered after it arrives in Santiago. I file my claim and then seek transportation to Sosua. After some minor confusion and my thinking AA is going to stiff us for transportation to Sosua, we find a representative who gives us a taxi voucher for Sosua.
I depart with a fellow travelling commisserator at 8:30pm by taxi to Sosua. His name is D and he have a place in Sosua. Quickly in the cab ride I discover a new sport. It is called "never-ending chicken". As we are driving down poorly lit, pot-hole ridden roads to Sosua, we find that there are all kinds of people, motoconchos, cars double-parking in middle of 2-lane road, dogs, cats, and mules all out for an evening stroll. The game is pretend like you are driving trying to kill them and see who gives in first. I was upfront in the van with the driver and even though I was tired and trying to catch some Zs, I couldn’t help but to open my eyes and watch this spectacle. About an hour into it I began to get a little comfortable with it. However, no doubt the traffic fatalaties of cars vs. Monoconchos and pedrestrians much be pretty high on a per person basis. At 10pm, D and I arrive safely in Sosua. Now to get some dinner and find a hotel.
The street scene in Sosua goes on and completes at 5am in Sosua. That will be my next story.

Just wait for the return trip. You will arrive home very, very late at night.
Now let this be a lesson to you. Book a direct flight in future. Do not go through Puerto Rico.
The driving is a little scary at first, but you have to remember that these folks know that road like the back of their hand, and you don't. Of course, they do have quite a few road deaths there, especially pedestrians and motorcylists.
Have a great time, and don't fuck too hard.

First Night in Sosua,
At 10: 30pm I’m walking down Pedro Calisante (the main drag) with D and find a spot for dinner. We walk by Classico’s and the ladies are out and about. Whoa. It’s Sunday night and they are out in full force. At first pass, I’m quite impressed with the quantity and quality of the talent I scout. After a quick dinner and some alluring eyes from the bartender/waitress, I head over to New Garden and book a room for the night. Decent room, $55, includes tax, very good location. Now back to the streets. I walk up and down Pedro Calisante and begin "the hunt". After reading much about the "Tiger and the Gazelle", I’m very focused on finding a gazelle for a few hours or TLN.
Spoon fed mongering or a la carte? I find for myself that I really enjoy the hunt. I’m very particular about my chicas and typically only go for the top 5-10% of the chicas in any one location. [Note: In 2 nights I’ve been with an 8. 5 and a 9] Most of my hunt tonight (Sunday night) is between Classico’s and Latinos and a few blocks beyond each. As for the chicas, there are quite a few, many ranging in age from 18-25. About half look reasonably experience, 25% look very experienced and the other 25% seem relatively "fresh". I enjoyed sitting down at a perch or standing still and admiring the flow of chicas up and down the street. I had a certain type of anticipation that maybe I’m just gonna find this really special chica tonight. Well, I spotted one, then another one. However, both chicas met up with gringos before I could say "hola". Next I spot a very attractive, 9 of scale 1-10, go into nite club at Classico’s. She’s got beautifully thin legs, 5’8", thin, natural C cup and beautiful face. Not wanting to break my USD for pesos just yet, I decide not to go into the club and stand at the bottom of the steps to wait for her to exit or another muy especial chica to walk by. About 1:15am, miss chica #1, M, exits the club and walks my way. I say hola and engage her and her friend in conversation. She has a very nice smile, straight, white teeth, is quiet, well-mannered and I’m thinking I’ve found me a gazelle.
"Well, let me do some interviewing before I invite her back to the room. " We talk and get drinks for 20 minutes and she is smiley and polite, though I’m leading most all of the conversation. She’s 20 y. O. She continues to smile at me and "seem interested" so I invite her back to my room. Her friend suggests "Happy Hour" but I say I only want 1 chica.
Back to New Garden and warning bells should go off when she get’s to the gated fence door and quickly reaches in to unlatch the door. Me things "La chica tenia mucha experiencia with New Garden. " Ok, into the room I tell her I like things to move slowly. We never mention price. I don’t bring it up following someone’s advice and she doesn’t bring it up. Ok. Her body is incredible and I could lay for hours and watch her and just caress her. As we lay there and hang out, she is not really into it. She has a quiet, "let’s just get it over with attitude. Or I’m bored" We lay and caress one another for awhile. I try DFK and she’s not very interested. Ah. Should have gotten my first french kiss at the bar to feel her out. After 90 minutes of relaxing and caressing she asks if we can have sex so she can finish and go. She is "not available" for TLN. At this point I shouldn’t want it, however when it comes to beautiful women I like to savor my meal. So we "get it on" for 10-15 minutes and her service is quite lackluster. No BBBJ (minor licking sin condom), no DFK, basic uninterested sex. Ok, 2 hours up and she wants to leave.
Pricing. I’m thinking short time is 500-1000 pesos after much reading on this board. I still only have USD and decide $20 US is 660 pesos and should be good. She looks at the 20 and gives me this "you must be kidding" look. I tell her I have many friends who visit Sosua and I’m well aware of the going rates. The story continues and is quite dramatic, however while I’m unwilling to get in the details while I remain in the country. Let’s just say a disagreement ensued.

I think they would want a bit more than $20 after going from the nightclub with you on a Sunday night and spending 90 minutes warming up. About 1200 pesos would be fair if she was a good looker, though she would surely ask for more. 500 pesos might get you a daytime blow job from one of the uglier sisters. You should always negotiate a price up front even if she says "pay me whatever you like".
Even if you did not have very good rapport with her $20 would be seen as insulting. What can you buy with $20?
Now enjoy the rest of your trip.

Keep in mind that 500-1000 pesos is for daytime action and that decent looking girls probably even want more than that.
With 20 bucks (660 pesos) you were definately asking for troubles.
At night i guess you should give her at least 1000 pesos and if her performance was good maybe a little tip like 200 pesos

I can tell that you did your homework before taking this trip but I think you still made a few classic mistakes. What is with the saving US Dollars? I don't understand? What were you buying your drinks with, dollars? Where you just out of pesos? I never deal in dollars. Never even negotiate with chicas in dollars.
I'm always the one to say it but these boards always focus on how to be a cheap ass more than how to have a good time at a fair price. If pussy cost $1 USD, the guys on this board would spend hours trying to figure out how to get it for $.25 USD. Let's face it we are not going to hit it off with every chica we meet. There is a big difference between a chica who breaks an agreement and a chica that you don't have chemistry with. The chica who breaks an agreement promises you bbbj and TLN but in the room says you have 2 hours and you need a condom. It seems to me that you and your chica just didn't hit it off. That's no reason to pay $20 to a chica in the top 5-10%.
Aside from that I would have to ask myself, is it worth the extra 300-900 pesos to get the crazy chica out of my room? I'm not going on vacation to argue with a chica over 300 pesos? If I fight over 300 pesos I would begin to feel as desperate for money as they do. Some people say don't negotiate up front others says you should always negotiate before going to the room. I can say that I have done both things. But I know how to screen a chica the right way before I take her back to the room. I also know that as long as she keep her part of the agreement I will pay her fairly. My suggestion to others--Always negotiate up front until you gain more expierence with chicas. If you are doing the el chepo vacation and you want the top 5% (nothing wrong with that) always negotiate up front. I don't do el chepo vacations. I know I can afford whatever I want at fair market prices, without over paying.
No matter how you look at it a vacation in the DR is already a good deal. Save your money and do your vacation right.

Agreed. You CAN get laid for $500 pesos, but it is a bit like that Groucho Marx thing about not wanting to be a member of any club that would accept someone like him as a member.
A few weeks back I was offered masaje completo for quiniento pesos by a girl outside the Europa, but the catch was that she looked like she needed a good scrubbing before I would lay hand on her. Any girl who is offering herself for 500 pesos is probably not such that you would want your member to be admitted to her inner sanctum.
Of course some girls are free, and they are the most expensive ones, because if you take the bait of free sex it is a bit like accepting free downloads from e-music. When you want to cancel your trial account, the cancellation button seems to have disappeared and your credit card is charged monthly until you die or go into bankrupcy.
If you get a girl out of the disco at night she is probably going to shoot for $2000 pesos or even more. If I hooked a girl who would not settle for 2000 pesos, then I would definitely throw her back in the pool and set bait for another. And she would have to be pretty damn hot for $2000. I would probably make an opening bid of 1000, up it to 1200 when she laughs at that, then maybe settle for 1500.
The exact price you may pay depends on several variables that may include:
1. How much the girl likes you, although this may be overrated.
2. Your ability to speak Spanish and amuse the girl.
3. How attractive she is, and the likelihood of her being able to get someone else.
4. Her financial needs on the day in question. If she desperately needs 2000 pesos to pay rent and it is late at night, she will fight hard to get what she needs. On the other hand, if she had someone else earlier, you may be the gravy and she may be more flexible.
5. What others are paying. Remember that the dollar is badly on the slide vs the euro, so European tourists may be willing to offer more.
6. Time of day. You can probably get it a bit cheaper in the day time as she still has a hope of scoring again later on.
7. Whether you already know her, or her friends. Maybe you have flirted with her for days. Maybe a friend will give you a good reference. If you are a premature ejaculator you may get a discount as oppose to someone who wants to fuck the shit out of a chica for hours.
8. Whether she is Haitian. Haitianas come at 25-50% discount and a lot less attitude.
Bottom line is that these girls are working in the street to earn money to support themselves and their families. Although they may love the sex with you, that is not the main motivation.
All these pitfalls and fine points partly explain why DR newbies may enjoy themselves more at Blackbeard's until they get the feel of the culture a bit. At BB the menu is prix fixe, so you don't have to get into any head games about money and can just focus on small head.

Ohhhh No
Great points Cossfire1. Twenty American dollars would insult me as a customer especially if she is as he said near the top on looks. Nothing wrong with negotiation, but please respect the chicas, especially those that are not wolves and pushy. She seemed like a very even keal pretty chica that was not stuck up. Probable not a pro as evidence by he was still alive to write the post. She may be stuck up now because of this. It goes both ways we as the clients can screw things up for those that follow by grossly overpaying or even quicker by insulting and taking advantage of your position. Negotiate, but be fair. Beleive me word will circulate in these small towns about we the clients amoungst the chicas, just like it circulates around the world about them the providers be it good or bad.

I just want to add something here that I meant to include in my last post.
A contract, whether verbal or written, implies an exchange of services between two parties in which both feel they are getting something they want out of it.
Sometimes you can go with a girl without discussing the price, for example if you have been with her before, or you have been with her friends, so she knows what you will pay, and you know what she will accept, but in general it is best to negotiate up front so that you don't get into some situation where there is a disagreement, possible violence, or she steals your cell phone to get even (as she sees it).
You are on vacation and you really don't want to be dealing with local cops, or emergency rooms, which will greatly increase your stress level and can only decrease your bank balance.
