Name That Bar
Back in The mid-1980s, I spent many military leaves in Angeles City. My favorite bars were off Peremeter Road, behind the Oasis Hotel on a cul-de-sac. Red Baron was one but I don't recall the names of the others. Also, are the four bars still in business.
Haven't been back since 1987 when I married a Filipina. She is everything I wanted in a wife so no real reason for more hunting.
Planning a return in 2009 for 60th birthday.
I have enclosed some old photos to jog the memory.

...aren't they?
OVERUSED??? Get serious. All the girls I barfine have been on the job for less than a week. The fact that they are so great at bedroom acrobatics is probably a process of osmosis. They somehow absorb these skills by dancing next to the real pros.
And the waitresses. of course they are models of purity and goodness. Surely Hesekiels is barfining two waitresses for the only the most conventional activities....going to church maybe....
X Man
Hesek, I've never done a 3some. Despite how nice the fantasy sounds, I'm always thinking that it would double (or triple depending on how you do the statistics) the chance of bad personal vibes.
The obvious advice is to find two ladies who are friends (or lovers), but if you have any other advice or ancedotes, please share.
Well, Fire Walker, I believe that virtually all of them are quite overused, aren't they? :)
Now seriously, the only thing that really matters is a good service at reasonable costs. So, for 3,000 pesos I would rather barfine two waitresses instead of one spotlight dancer! Folks, let's be honest, what is more exciting than a great threesome? At least I enjoy it - always! :)

Hi X-Man:
Well, it would be my greatest pleasure to tell you personally a couple of anecdotes over a bottle of SMB (let's say on the 20th December 9pm at La Pasha?)! :) But giving 'advices' might be slightly unfair since tastes are mostly different. However, of course I am glad to share some of my experiences with you. So, here we go:
Contrary to the barfines you had, my girls were in the business for at least 6 months.
Yes, you are right: whenever I barfined two waitresses/dancers it was indeed 'only for the most conventional activities!' But certainly not for going to church. Since I did not find a synagogue in AC we went straight to my hotel room instead! :)
You never had a threesome? Man, what have you missed until now!? So, you might reconsider that since you can get it easily for the price of one spotlight dancer!?
IMHO, of course!

Hello Columpuss,
Tissue manufacturers would be very upset at the loss of sales. As you may know, most dancers stuff several down the front, unlike in Pattaya.
I look forward to being back in AC. in a few weeks.(Live in China)Visitor since pre-Pinatubo.
Some suggestions for the budget-conscious:
10P for a jeepney from CRK to jeepney station.(Jeepney goes from Route 1 site to departure lounge. )
DM Residente, Koala, Patio etc.at ca. 900P/night. Never had a complaint from BF girl.Comfortable,air-conditioned, pool. As they say, "It's up to you"
In July, 750 ST and 1200 LT.(leave 9am) Be a nice person, this is what you get.
(Generally Perimeter prices, though not exclusively)
I enjoy this forum as a "newbie". Keep up the good work!

I'll be in AC Sep 28 for a week. My usual hangout is with the cherry girls at Lanies tourist hangout next to Insomnia. Buy you an SMB. Welcome to the forum.
I live in China too.

A lot of the girls do not have that much sexual experience. My point was that when a girl is a spotlight dancer there is a silly notion that they are special because they cost more to barfine. They end up getting barfined alot because guys with money believe that. For 3 thousand pesos, I can barfine 3 girls on Perimeter and they are probably better dancers.
Last year, one spotlight dancer at DH was a few weeks earlier working at Limited Edition. She got arrested in the Tea Times raid for eating pussy onstage during a Perimeter Party. Anyone could have barfined her for 1000 anytime before that. Actually, she also continued working at Limited Edition during the day for a while and at DH at night.

Hi there,
Glad to be a part of this forum.
I will be arriving in Manilla at 10: 30 at night and want to get to AC. It will be a first trip there after numerous trips and living in Thailand.
What is the best way to get to AC at that time of the night. The cost is not a factor. Just want to get there. (from Zyborgian Korea)
If I only have carry on luggage and meet a driver for example on a Friday night, at about what time would I get to AC?
And can someone recommend a Hotel for the first night. Good but not great with a king size bed and tiled floors. And thereafter which hotel in AC has the best pool. As in large and deep and yessss. Clean. Having local lovlies lolling around would be nice too.
One last question if I may. Coconuts. Actually the worlds largest seed. Are there places or people selling coconuts around Angeles. The water is 100% sterile and bio-chemically similar to blood plasma. Kept many a GI alive during the Pacific War with transfusions. Great for blood sugar issues as well and weght loss.
Looking forward to writing up a comparative report with Pattaya. The English speaking ability of the Filipinos will be interesting.
Alas I will only be there from late Friday night to the following Wednesday.
Thanks in advance.

Slim
Dont know of any bars that survived Pinatubo.
Many bars have changed hands/name several times just in the past few years!
I'm sure your wife is great, but is she everything that you want in a *****?
(Well Ac will always be there for that! ;) )
And a planned trip for 2009?? Its a nice touch that it will be your 60th, but you could be dead before then, its 2 years away!
Get your ass over here soon, while you still can!

G'day Qiao Man,
Qiao min means expat in Putonghua, but I suppose you understood the pun. The reason a lot of us expats come here is, though Chinese girls can be drop dead gorgeous, AC girls have it all over them in the boom-boom stakes. QM mentioned Insomnias. Peter, one of the managers, loves talking about cricket and football. Next thing it's 5 am. Anyhow, he lined me up with a couple of good BFs for the next night. Nico at Butterfly Rock is also good for a chat.
See anyone interested at Lanies (28/9/07) and we can compare notes.

I've got your point! BTW, if I am not mistaken Perimeter bars have increased their barfines to 1,200 pesos!? Can anybody confirm that?

Core,
Glad to see you're coming out, but if you'll just do a little reading you'll find the answer to just about all your questions. It really doesn't take that much effort, and generally the reports will be very informative. I know we just talked about hotels and transportation in the last few pages, so this is a nice way of saying RTFF.

1,000ps for BF seems history, but I'm not sure whether 1,100 or 1,200ps nowadays.
Different with each bar I think. And since I barfine usually after lots of SMB, I don't remember exactly.
I'll confirm on next trip 8th/Sep onwards.
Cheers!

Hi Coremine,
IMHO, you are better off getting a ca. P100 metered taxi to a hotel like the Park Oasis (1900/night) or the Amazonia in Emrita. At the last one the freelancers will be all over you, esp. At that time of night, in the bar. Then you can take your time in getting to AC, after savouring the delights of one of the Manila girls.
Regards,
Chickenlegs
