Robin:
I forgot. Let me know when your coming, and I will probably be able to meet you at Paradise. I'm there 3 to 4 nights a week anyway...haha
If Steve isn't there for any reason, then ask for Tony or Joe.
Leslie will probably be there since the girls get hugh fines for not showing up. But if not, then ask for Lluvia. Less english, but bigger tits, haha. And a voluptuous 21 year old, who is a good girl with a heart of gold. And she has a car which might be helpful. Paradise girls are all nice kids, who you will be very happy to have met. Treat them with respect, and they will show you the time of your life.
She might want $200 for an all nighter however. Keep in mind that no clubs in Matamoros take credit cards. So bring plenty of cash. Your USA ATM card however works well in the many 24 hour automatic tellers, so make sure you bring that. And the machines will dispense pesos, which are handy to have, but not necessary.

Hey Easyrider
What is a good chica friendly hotel in Matamoros that is easy to get to and less than $85 a night
-
Matamoros Hotel for less than $85/nite.
Motel Paraiso is very close to Paradise Club. Its a no tell, motel. 200 pesos for four hours. Its about six blocks past Paradise, on the left. Just take Lauro Villar, the Beach Highway, towards the beach.
There are many, many others along that stretch, and all are cheaper. They have the world's largest jacuzi in suite 15 I think it is, which is big enough for 3 or 4 couples. It has two hugh private bed rooms also. The place is clean, and the room service food is great.
There is are many other regular type hotels downtown, that go for around 30 a night also, but i never stay in them. So I don't know which to recommend.

In some previous posts, there is mention of "boys town" Can someone explain what this is or means? Is it a physical place or is it a part of town in every border town?

This is LEGALIZED PROSTITUTION. The way it should be controlled everywhere. Matamoros used to have a hugh boys town, but it was closed down. Laredo, Progresso, Reynosa still do. Many towns in the Mexican interior also have them as well. It is a walled off part of town, full of ***** houses, titty joints, bars, etc, where police monitor, legal prostitution. Typically there is only one single gated entrance/exit, that is monitored by the local police. They will even charge you $3 or so, just to go in, which is used to pay for the police services. I don't know what gringo came up with the name boystown, but Mexicans call them, "tolerence zones", (zona de tolorancia). It is a civilized approach to protitution. Prostitution has been legalized within the confines of these walls. Many of these towns that have boystowns, have few if any street walkers. Ever since Matamoros closed there's, 10th steet and many other neighborhoods of town are plagued by steet walkers, (many of whom are disease riden, and/or dangerous criminals). Not coincidentally, 10th street is the highest crime area of Matamoros. And that is the purpose of a zone. Keep it all confined to a single place, control it, and do not tolerate street walkers. Most tolorence zones in Mexico also monitor closely the health of the ladies who work there, with weekly physicals required. Matamoros still requires that of all titty dancers. Ie a second social benefit.
Mexico is an old world country in many ways. Certainly more Europeon than the USA. And this is one of the benifits. Remember the scandle from the legitimate press when Nevada legalized prostitution in the USA. It's always been legal in Mexico. The USA prefers to ignore the world's oldest profession, and allow it, titty joints, and porno shops to invade any neighborhood. In that sense, Mexicans do a better job of protecting their children, and their neighborhoods.

The joint next door to Paradise, with a name that no gringo seems to be able to remember, is called La Cobacha. The archives are full of reports from guys who can't seem to remember that name.
Its a fun and inexpensive club, and is worth checking out.

Matamoros Hotel -
1.Does it have room service?
2. Do they allow "guests" female of course?
3. Do they have a swimming pool?
4. Is this the hotel with the Jacuzzi in rm 15?
5. How much is room #15/night?
6. How far is this hotel from Club Paradise?
Easyrider you posed on this hotel and motel Paraisimo, and your facts seemed a little ambiguous. If you could fill me in with this info I would be very grateful. Thank you sir.
Where and what distance is the closest beach to Matamoros? Is it crowded? Is it a good place to look for non profesionals who might be interested in dating? White sand beach?
Thank you in advance,
In8

You got my two favorite motels mixed up together. The one close to Paradise is called Paraiso. It's a no tell motel. No windows. Just a place to take your honey and hide out. No pool. But suite 15 is the one with the hugh jacuz, (500 pesos for 5 hours), (around $57 dollars). The cheap rooms are 200 pesos for four hours, (about 22 dollars). Its a great place for a quickie, or to take a nap to sober up. The TV has two channels of awesome hard core porno. But if your gonna stay 8 to 24 hours however, and aim to land an all nighter with a sweetie, then your better off in the normal motel, which follows.
The other is the old Holiday Inn, now called Residencial. It is close to the Gateway bridge, and has the beautiful pool and large garden. And no they don't hastle you about guests. Just register for two. Current rate is 590 pesos a nite. (around $65 plus tax). But your taxi bill to the action at Paradise will be $10 each way.
The beach isn't that great. But its close, and it is the ocean. And the girls love to get invited to go there. It's real honkytonk, but can be great fun. But for this you will need a car. It's about 40 minutes from Paradise, at the end of the beach highway.
For chica's there however, you need to go on a saturday or sunday, when there is a decent crowd.
Best place to try your luck with non working girls, is Chapparal Disco on Obregon, close to the Residencial hotel. Obregon is the main entry from Brownsville and is lined with restaurants/discos, that on weekends are full of american teens getting wasted.
REMEMBER, AVOID DRIVING AT NIGHT ANYWHERE IN MEXICO, IF YOU'VE BEEN DRINKING. Not good. Taxi's are cheap.

Thanks easyrider,
Great info. Listen I just got an e-mail from steevie (the guide you recommend) I don't really think I'd "need" him as I have scouted and conquered three other border towns solo, but it might be fun to have a source with me for one night and even better if he turns out to be a good guy.
Thanks you have been helpful.
